today i read the most awesome character study of leafos on ao3, it had me grinning like an idiot the whole time. other few remaining viva piñata fans out there, i urge you to check out Holding it together by Psycho_Pop! it's a very worthwhile read, and a brilliant look into not only leafos' character, but stardos' (& other family members') too <33

Who would the siblings cosplay/dress up as for Halloween?

Leafos would have very normie nerd kind of costumes. Cute witch on halloween, casual character inspired looks (disneybounding type stuff), maybe cosplays some older Rare characters and cute video game icons (isabelle animal crossing comes to mind)

Storkos is SUPERHEROES SUPERHEROES SUPERHEROES! She’s the cosplay QUEEN of the island, and spends so much time, money and effort on her costumes, making them accurate to the comics and cartoons they come from (but never the live action movies) and has several cosplay contest awards from conventions over the years

Seedos covers himself in grime and leaves from the swamp, calls himself a swamp monster and calls it a day. Sometimes Storkos will help him put together a more elaborate costume, like a shellybean or a living tree… but more often she’ll make him her sidekick in her superhero cosplaying, despite Seedos’ complaints and cluelessness about who the hell these characters even are

Dastardos doesn’t dress up often, he’s already a horror movie monster/cryptid every day of the year, and would rather spend halloween playing that part and terrorising the island a little more than usual! But when he DOES dress up… Well, in my headcanon, Stardos was always a bit of a repressed edgelord, especially in his preteen and teen years. He went NUTS around halloween, dressing up as all the best halloween monsters and letting his mischievous side run free! Dastardos in the present still has that love of dressing up for halloween in him, so on the rare occasion that he has an excuse to, he always puts a lot of effort into it, using magic to help sell the transformation into a different kind of monster than he usually is…

I am probably just extra stupid, but I have this...theory? au? idea in my mind that Lester and Pester are not the same person.

(I'm just looking too much into it, it's just an au at this point)

Lester was Peter's original name, but his father (the one who worked with Jardiniero) took his name so he could get away with messing around with candy and sour things, like, change his own identity.

Lester started hating his own name because of that, that's why he changed it to Pester. He was also Stardos childhood bestfriend, they met since Pester's father started taking him to the garden so he could help with work.

Bart was also friends with them :)

People who don't read the Viva Piñata lore but still make theories on it annoy me so much. Like I hate to break it to you but Dastardos being Stardos should barely be considered a theory. Pretty sure the man is literally in the family members section of the journal.
