Listen so we know that Sebastian didn't have many human skills like cooking etc at the start of the contract right? so maybe at the very beginning, when he first meets Nina, she teaches him the very basics of sewing, just in case he needs them..

Just imagining like,,, a few days after Ciel returns from the cult with Sebastian, Angelina contacts Nina and asks her to go and check on Ciel, make him some clothes etc bc obvs the mansion burned down with everything inside of it.

She takes all Ciel's measurements, (notices all the scratches and the brand and everything else), and then says she'll stay for a day or two to throw together a few outfits and essentials for him. So Ciel goes to take a nap and she sits down and starts working on his clothes, some shorts, some socks, a nightshirt and a few coats, just enough to last him until she can get him a proper wardrobe. She drags Sebastian along with her thinking 'well hes a butler, he has to have SOME kind of sewing knowledge, he could at least cut some cloth pieces out' but NOPE hes completely useless.

So she sits him down and starts showing him some basic stitches, just in case something happens and he needs to fix something, while asking him about everything that's happened.

You got this ask fair while back... someone seemed interested in your Irish connections and theories, but also seemed uncertain that Irish violations and their plight, would be showcased as a centrepiece when so much of Black Butler / Kuroshitsuji has paranormal fixations. I found that very odd? When so much of Indian, German, and to an extent Japanese and Anglo folklore / spirituality is also showcased in Kuroshitsuji...so I suppose my question is. When do you think we'll see it (if we see it) and what paranormal aspects pertaining to Irish Mythology do you think would fit into the story if you had to guess?

I don't think it's a matter of how Yana will weave/reference (more) Irish history and (more) Irish/Celtic Mythology into the story, or even how she's going to weave more of it, going forward. @apocalypticromantic666 , @seekers-who-are-lovers , @noirserviteur Have all found many general Celtic/Scottish/Irish connections and references in Kuro, I'm not the only person who has seen it. I'm particularly fond of this post (though the user deactivated) pointing out that the Phantomhive Graveyard has both protestant crosses (Church of England) and Celtic crosses (most likely Irish catholic) for gravestones. (here) It's not as necessary to me how much is included so long as more is included and considering the recent chapters I have no reason to think there wont be? Most of all, I wanted to point out, what already HAS been woven into it, and thematically that it makes logical sense, being the time period, and location and the repeated theme surrounding Indentured Servitude. In addition... I also believe some of the "paranormal" and "supernatural" elements connected to Irish mythology could already very much be there, even if it is/they are only referenced in name... 'hiding' in plain sight. The "Phantomhives" deal with England's "Underworld" do they not?

Do you know about the "Tuath Dé" or the "aes sídhe"...? If you don't, I highly recommend looking into the other "cycles"... starting with the Mythological Cycle.

I want to make some emotional adjustments to my headcanon regarding grell’s gender dysphoria.

my intention is to not have people pity her for being herself in a highly strict gender role-oriented society. I want to say that yes, while she did feel different from the rest of the men with whom she interacted before and during her war days, she did not let these peoples’ critiques or reactions affect her emotionally. in fact, their oppositions empower Grell to continue being herself, because it is different from the norm. She views herself as unique in this sense. That she can overstep social boundaries with a simple change in dress.

We can even see that sort of self-confidence in the Will the Reaper OVA, where a human gives her a compliment that boosts her ego, and she gloats. but who wouldn’t? when you’ve been remarked as “odd” after so many times, you either take it in strides, or internalize it.

And despite having this self-confidence, she took her own life. Going by some of her episodes in S1, she would rather die than be something that isn’t her. and that’s what happened.
