This heroic dude. Kazuki Takahashi. Yugioh was my first anime (outside of pokemon) I got to watch as a kid, and fell in fuckin' LOVE with how sharp the linework was (Thank you also Kenichi Hara) And for some reason it just...stuck with me???

As for your curiosity, well, I'm afraid that there aren't others besides me and her. Who knows though, perhaps that'll change in the future.. The bell above the door chimes and Jonny sighs. He’s about to brace himself to give a much more polite than necessary “We’re about to close,” that will likely lead to a “I’ll be real quick” that is never actually a real quick and then finding that trying to keep back a comment like “you could’ve been a real quick hours ago” proves to be the hardest thing ever and then

“Oh!”

(He shouldn't be surprised by now, it’s Friday and Lucas showing up at the end of his shift has become a welcome new addition to his routine.) 

“That’s all I get huh?” Lucas grins as he walks up to the counter, “Just oh?” 

“It’s been aLong day gimme a break Newman,,” Jonny shrugs, sounds nonchalant but Lucas catches the tiniest hint of a smile, not the smirk, a genuine smile.

(He’s been seeing those a lot more lately and hopes he sees even more)

“Well darlin’ it might turn into a long night if you want,” Lucas grins and raises an eyebrow for good measure as he leans on the counter and leans in as close as he can manage Jonny snorts and shakes his head but he’s not even hiding the smile by this point. 

And then Lucas finds himself gently pulled into a kiss, gives an uncharacteristically surprised… almost squeak as it happens and he hears Jonny give a muffled chuckle against his lips. (The positioning is a little awkward but who cares right?) And then Lucas finds himself pulled in for another kiss that he leans into more as Jonny gently cups his jaw and Lucas will admit to feeling more than a little dazed when they finally break for air and Jonny still cups his jaw, 

“Missed you,” Jonny swallows shrugs but he’s still smiling. 

Lucas chuckles and leans up to gently tug Jonny’s shirt to pull him forward to kiss him on the nose.
