The Spirit of Starlight by Yusuf Alioğlu Via Flickr: The Spirit of Starlight Planet Dokeia Interplanetary Travel Later in the day, accompanied by a solar eclipse, the sun sets on the planet and becomes evening. As it gets darker, my loneliness becomes more apparent. The planet is getting quieter. Just like me. I have a lot in common with all the planets I've visited. The first of these is that we are alone. On the planets I've visited, they've been extremely lonely, just like me. And it looked so peaceful. On my first night on the planet Dokeia, I gaze at the stars and dream of the day when I will one day encounter a new life form. I've done this before. It's kind of like practice. It's like practicing how to act when I encounter them. My eyelids get heavy as the night makes the planet even quieter. I lie on my bed with the peace of silence and darkness. It's like sleep has taken over my body. I feel as if a spiritual being is directing my body, not me. I can't resist. A different peace covers my body.
