then he got 5% of their respect by solving the jack of smiles case and immediately disintegrated it by trying to reform the velocipede squad and getting kicked out of concord square bc the squad wanted him dead. he was their errand boy lackey at best and the constables actively disliked him at worst, why does the cop station like him
