Egyptian Pantheon Facts
Here are some Callyieverse headcanon nuggets for how the Egyptian Pantheon operates
The Egyptian Pantheon doesn’t care if you’re a god, mortal, Titan, or cosmic love child. While other pantheons squabble over Titan blood or political advantage, the Egyptian gods have one sacred, inviolable law: the preservation of Maat, the cosmic balance between order and chaos. To them, a Titan is no more inherently threatening than a god or mortal. It's not about species — it's about imbalance. The Egyptians don’t hunt Titans for sport like some pantheons might, but the moment one upsets the divine equilibrium, a reckoning follows. Their justice is impersonal and absolute—if you upset the scale, you answer for it.
The Maat belief system is so deeply embedded that even their court trials (like the Weighing of the Heart) are seen as literal magical rituals that either confirm or cleanse cosmic disturbance. This creates tension with other Pantheons, especially ones like the Norse and Greek who tend to lean into chaos or self-serving actions. Egyptian deities often see their hands-off chaos as irresponsibility.
While Titan hunting isn’t outlawed in Egyptian territory, it is considered a matter of internal jurisdiction. Other pantheons who try to interfere or handle Egyptian-affiliated Titans without permission are viewed as overstepping their bounds—sometimes even as committing acts of war. The Egyptian gods don’t appreciate outsiders meddling in their affairs, especially given their long-standing status as one of the world’s premier pantheons. To act without their blessing is to insult their sovereignty and treat Ra’s court like second-tier deities—which never ends well. Even Zeus knows to tread carefully when navigating Egyptian space.
Ra once tried to offer Basteta Sekhmet’s role — an enforcer of divine will and an overture of unity between gods and Titans. She declined, not wanting to be "the Token Titan" of the Egyptian Pantheon, especially not to appease political optics or used to score brownie points with Nia when she was made heir to Avalon. She still plays a crucial role—acting as a cultural bridge and a field operative when needed—but she's a free agent in many ways. Her decision caused friction in the inner circle... until Nenet was born.
Ra commands not just power, but profound reverence from gods across multiple pantheons. While Odin and Zeus share his stature among the so-called "Big Three", unlike the others, he never loses his authority in the Future AU, knowing the best way to survive is to adapt.
Even his closest kin struggle to parse Ra’s thoughts or emotions. His inscrutable gaze is half-smile, half-hurricane: comforting one moment, ominous the next. Many whisper that Ra’s mysteries are the ultimate test of faith in Maat.
Sekhmet is stronger than Ra. But Ra’s control over her doesn’t come from dominance — it comes from loyalty, trust, and the fact that Ra gave her his primordial divine spark. If Ra is the sun, Sekhmet is the solar flare he lets burn only when absolutely necessary. Her loyalty is born from a deep sense of duty and respect, not blind obedience. When she speaks, even Ra listens. In battle, she is unstoppable. Even the other pantheons whisper her name when they speak of war gods. She’s often deployed as a last resort, the final punishment when Maat has been so violently upended that diplomacy is off the table. If Sekhmet leaves Solar City, people tremble.
Once hands-on with every law and temple rite, Ra now entrusts key roles to his top lieutenants—Sekhmet as enforcer, Thoth as keeper of records, Hathor as ambassador of love and beautification, Serqet as poison-and-cure specialist, etc. Their influence is great, though Ra’s light never wanes—it simply shines from above, letting others carry the torch while he watches from his golden seat.
Atum, the vanished All-Father of Chronos’s era, remains unrivaled in seniority. His son Ra sits a rung below, overseeing gods like a monarch among monarchs. All other deities—Sekhmet, Isis, Thoth, etc.—owe their stations to Ra’s delegated authority.
King Osiris, ruler of Duat's Underworld and head of the Council of Maat, is the ultimate judge of souls — mortal and divine alike. While Ra rules the culture and vision of their people, Osiris commands the dead, overseeing reincarnation, judgment, and spiritual order. His power is quiet but immense, and his courtroom is where some of the most high-stakes trials in godly history have taken place — including divine betrayals, inter-pantheon diplomacy, and more than a few attempts to challenge Maat’s sacred laws.
Solar City is Ra’s home base — a brilliant, radiant metropolis at the heart of Duat. It pulses with solar energy, divine architecture, and an unsettling stillness. While beautiful, it’s also known as a place where Ra watches all. Leaving the city — and by extension, Ra’s gaze — for too long without explanation is seen as an issue.
Since the fall of ancient Egypt, the pantheon has grown increasingly reclusive, even with other Pantheons. Earthly affairs are viewed with a mixture of apathy or uninterest, as mortals have forgotten the sacred balance that once tied them to the gods. Aside from a few exceptions, the gods stay rooted in Duat. This isn’t just policy; it’s survival. Ra believes distance protects them from being warped by mortal entropy, and most agree.

i simply adore you, My Sssermon.

} i thank thee, for this proposal. But, as of right now, I see no need to resort to violence. Though, they clearly do not see the need in reforming the universe, in light of positive change. I will get back to you on this, in time. However, this will not help to achieve unity, nor peace.

[Title] The status quo’s conspiracy against popular sovereignty is consummated: It is time to unite and fight to reestablish the national Constitution! Communique.- The inauguration of Nicolás Maduro this January 10 is the culminating point of a conspiracy of the Public Powers ─controlled by the leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV)─ to violate the National Constitution, preventing the publication of the electoral results and thus disregarding the popular will. Far from being resolved, the crisis of legitimacy is worsening with this swearing-in that is outside the Constitution and the laws. The National Electoral Council (CNE) has not complied with its obligations: the electoral receipts have not been presented; the results, disaggregated table by table, are not public knowledge and the audits required by law were not carried out. For its part, the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) refused to restore the guarantees of the electorate and validated the farce orchestrated by the PSUV to entrench itself in power. To sustain its rule, the ruling elite has resorted to repression against workers, reaidents of popular sectors, human rights defenders, activists and political leaders. With harassment, arbitrary detentions, forced disappearances, threats to family members and psychological operations, they have created a permanent state of terror to impose their false authoritarian peace. Nicolás Maduro and his accomplices have de facto abrogated the Constitution. Political and civil rights have been restricted; his neoliberal package has condemned millions of families to misery and has provoked the massive exodus of Venezuelans. The criminal sanctions of imperialism ─ which we strongly condemn─ have been used as an excuse for administrative corruption, the plundering of the nation’s resources and political persecution against all those forces that confront their anti-worker and anti-popular policies. This coup against the will of the people opens the way to a new stage of the struggle, which demands greater democratic and popular resistance; greater unity in action and greater mobilization. Foreign military intervention and the solutions offered by the promoters of the coercive measures against the Venezuelan people are not an option either. The Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), in the search for a solution that serves the interests of the Venezuelan people and nation, in the face of this acute social and political crisis in which the country has been plunged by the two right-wing bourgeois blocs that are disputing power ─both the one in control of the State and the one that opposes it─, calls upon the revolutionary, popular and genuinely democratic forces to form a broad alliance for the struggle for the restitution of the full validity of the National Constitution and the reestablishment of the social, labor, political and human rights of the Venezuelan people. The Venezuelan people can count on the firmness of this detachment of communist militants to overcome this hard time and recover the democratic rights that have been taken away. We continue on our feet: joining forces and organizing struggles!
— Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV). Caracas, January 10, 2025.

heyo!! question time!!
what does virgo's courthouse look like? what does Virgo typically do with court cases and what kinds of cases does she get? how does corvus and libra help her? and finally:
is this accurate to the lore?
Yaaaaaay for question time :D
Firstly, yes that is lore accurate! I'll only add that the authority that the zodiac has is pretty tenuous overall; yes they were given additional elemental power from the Solunar Spirits, but that doesn't exactly mean that everybody is on board with every decision they make. Often quite the opposite, in fact! Some are outright offended that the zodiac would assume such a position and actively oppose it.
Heck, the zodiac argues amongst themselves frequently enough as it is, some only fend for themselves or a select few (like Capricorn, to name one), and even Boötes needs to be talked down sometimes when being too absolute about exacting punishment or catching fugitives. He tends to take his role as the herdsman a little too literally!
Virgo's courtroom, and by extension the zodiac's own meeting room, is meant to be a way of alleviating this a bit and solving disputes more democratically, if at all possible. It was Virgo's idea to try and unite them in the first place, so while there's no official "leader" of the zodiac, her and Libra are often the ones that people look to the most for guidance. Without Ophiuchus, Libra is the strongest remaining healer on the Astral Plane. She's pragmatic, thoughtful, highly intelligent, and knows how to keep things organized.
Virgo's wisdom, combat skill, and stoic but kind demeanour all add up to her commanding respect from most by simply entering the room. She stays humble about this, but does at least try to use it to her advantage for the aforementioned unity of the zodiac and their allies.
Some constellations, both within and without the zodiac, use brute force or some other kind of strength or skill to command respect instead, and even some of the pacifists have had to resort to such things for the sake of survival. There is a timeline where, if circumstances were entirely different for him, Scorpio wouldn't touch a weapon unless his life depended on it.
So the zodiac's collective role as authority figures is less of a "we are now a ruling authority and our decisions are absolute" and more of a "hey the world is falling apart, maybe we should band together more to help those who do not have the power to protect themselves like we do". Getting them or any other constellations to agree on something is its own battle, but what camaraderie is there does help at least! The best examples of this are the zodiac companions, especially those who were redeemed or otherwise changed for the better through their respective bonds. These bonds add to the hope that the Astral Plane will become a kinder place again.
As for Virgo's courtroom, it's a fairly small one overall, as even wrangling a jury together can be a task in and of itself.

I've got an isometric sketch this time, whee! I'll be real though, I've been swamped with commission stuff for like a month at this point and I do not have it in me to draw all of the details right now, sorry 🥴 It has a similar visual style as Libra's library in terms of how ornate but still practical it is. I hope this is helpful for the general layout at least!
A statue of Lady Justice sits behind the judge, a symbol of Virgo and Libra's collective ideals. I haven't decided if this statue represents a prior incarnation of Virgo or if it's related specifically to the current incarnation, but it has the classic blindfold, sword and scales that you see on these statues in courtrooms.
Unlike Libra's own scales, however, all these ones can do is magically count the jury's votes and will tip accordingly. The light magic torches on either side of the room will ignite as votes are cast, and if there's a tie, the judge will cast one to determine the final verdict.
Virgo, Libra and Corvus are the main staff, with Lupus helping out with recording the minutes and archiving them. The main three will swap or take over roles when necessary, but Corvus is most often the judge. His favourite thing about the job is banging the gavel, so much so that he has his own for the occasion.
(Shoutout to the amazing JesterKatz for modelling and animating Corvus doing Ace Attorney style poses in 3D! It's been like 4 years now but I still can't believe this exists!!!!! Aaah!!!! :'DDD )
Though complete impartiality is not always possible given the circumstances, Virgo and Libra will usually act as opposing attorneys on either side of a case to help combat this a bit and get all of the facts straight as much as possible. Others still comment on how insular it can be though, which is fair enough. Proper justice is the goal, so they do the best they can with what they have.
As for what cases they're given, it can be just about anything that may be going on on the Astral Plane that requires broader attention, though the most commonly investigated cases are thefts (especially of relics or weapons), damage to buildings or other large things, disappearances, and deaths. This of course shifts a bit when they find out that a lot of the spirits that were presumed dead were in fact stranded on Earth instead, and any cases that pertain more closely to solving the grander mysteries of the Astral Plane are usually given priority, outside of emergencies of course.
A fair trial is given to all, regardless of the severity or reason for a constellation's trial in the first place. That does, however, require them to be arrested and brought to the court in the first place. As you might imagine, this can be quite hard to do with some of the more notorious villains roaming around the Astral Plane and causing trouble!
#thanks for the ask! :D#these always force me to do more background design and genuinely thank you for that#i've been putting it off for way too long lmao#i gotta get my act together#asks#tabsters#my art#Starglass Zodiac#SGZ#long post

The Way of the Komodo: Life, Loyalty, and Culture Clash in Nu Ta'ar
On the verdant, perilous island of Bali, deep within the dense forests, resides the Nu Ta'ar tribe. Their people, the Komodos, are a warrior society sculpted by the harsh realities of their environment and the echoes of primal instincts, bearing a resemblance to the formidable Komodo dragon after which they are named. Family is paramount, strength is revered, and survival is a constant battle. This is their life, a tapestry woven with threads of tradition, brutality, and an unyielding devotion to their own.
-
The Fabric of Komodo Society
-
Social Structure and Values:
The Komodo tribe operates on a hierarchy where strength dictates social standing. Warriors are the most respected, their prowess a shield for the vulnerable. Yet, even the weakest members of the tribe are cared for, a testament to the Komodo's deep sense of kinship. However, this care comes with a price: those who are deemed weak or incapable of contributing bear a heavy burden of shame and dishonor. Some, unable to reconcile with this loss of face, choose to disappear into the forest, preferring death to being a burden for their kin.
The concept of honor is inextricably linked to strength. Acts of bravery, skill in combat, and demonstrable physical power elevate an individual's status. Conversely, weakness, cowardice, or failure to uphold the tribe's interests results in social ostracization. The Komodo culture, while providing for its vulnerable, shows them little mercy in terms of societal respect.
-
Communication and Conflict Resolution:
Komodo communication is visceral and direct. Growls and snarls serve as warnings, displays of dominance, and intimidation tactics common in the animal kingdom. Yet, amidst this primal language, there is also a capacity for tenderness. When feeling content and close to a loved one, a Komodo might purr – a soft, rumbling sound that belies their ferocious nature. Their heightened sense of smell is a crucial tool, used for navigation, hunting, and even discerning emotions. A whiff in the air can tell a Komodo more than words ever could.
Conflict, whether personal or inter-tribal, is often resolved through a ritualistic combat called the Caci dance. Two warriors face off, armed with bullwhips, while the tribe watches and cheers. Though presented as a game, the Caci is a serious test of skill and resolve. It's a structured outlet for aggression, a means to assert dominance without resorting to lethal violence. While killing is forbidden, the intensity of the duel can escalate quickly, especially between rivals. Despite the potential for serious injury, the Caci also serves to reinforce the bonds of brotherhood within the tribe, teaching the young to value unity and forgive past transgressions. Scars earned in battle are badges of honor, testament to their resilience. However, facial scars are considered a mark of shame. The dishonorable act of intentionally maiming another's face carries a lifetime of social stigma.
-
Daily Life and Customs:
Komodo villages consist of round wood huts with cone-shaped straw roofs, clustered together for communal living. Family life is central, and children are immersed in the tribe's warrior culture from a young age. From their first steps, they learn to fight, mimicking the movements of their elders and engaging in mock battles. By the age of six, children are already participating in Caci dances, showcasing their budding skills and vying for the admiration of their peers.
Komodos are carnivores, skilled hunters who bring down prey from the depths of the forest with deadly efficiency. They cook their meat over open fires, sharing meals as a tribe and solidifying their bonds.. Their diet is dictated by the hunt, and nothing is considered better than a cooked pig, as their village resembles a warren of huts with a central space for the kitchen.
Adulthood is not defined by age but by actions. A Komodo child becomes an adult when their father deems them ready to stand on their own, usually around the age of fifteen, after they have proven their worth by killing an enemy of the tribe. This is a time of celebration, as it means that the individual is ready to build a family of their own, and to take on a mate.
-
Ethics, Laws, and Tribal Warfare:
The Komodo operate under a philosophy that roughly translates to "might makes right." Strength is the ultimate arbiter, shaping their laws, ethics, and social interactions. Deception is frowned upon unless it is to decieve an enemy. Their morality is defined by the tribe's survival and prosperity. While they strive for honor within their community, their interactions with outsiders, particularly the bird people, are often marked by aggression and violence. While the origins of the war with the bird people are unclear, the Komodo tribe does not shy away from being the aggressor, viewing the bird people as weak due to their peaceful nature.
Their world is harsh, and survival demands ruthless efficiency. The concept of "fair play," as understood in modern British society, holds little value in Nu Ta'ar culture. Pragmatism and effectiveness take precedence over abstract notions of ethics.
-
Religion:
The Komodo worship a goddess of the forest, but their belief is pragmatic rather than devotional. They direct their prayers to her for the sake of their deceased, seeking safe passage for their souls into the afterlife.
Raksa: A Komodo Forged Anew
Raksa, once Harry Potter, was thrust into this world as a lost child. Silva, the chieftain, claimed him as his own, concealing his true origins from the tribe. Raksa's magical essence, over time, reshaped him, instilling in him the physical traits of the Komodo people, though he never quite matched their natural strength and bulk. Despite this difference, Raksa embraced the Komodo way of life, driven by a desire to prove himself worthy of Silva's love and the tribe's acceptance.
-
Trials and Training:
From the moment Silva took him in, Raksa's life became a rigorous training regime. He learned to hunt, track, and fight, mastering the bullwhip with deadly precision. Silva instilled him with the values of the Komodo people, emphasizing strength, loyalty, and the importance of family. Raksa participated in Caci dances from a young age, honing his combat skills and learning to control his aggression. Silva taught him to read the forest, to understand the language of scent and the movements of prey. He learned to growl, to purr, to communicate like a true Komodo.
Raksa's journey was not without its challenges. He struggled to match the physical strength of his peers, pushing himself to his limits in every training session. He faced skepticism from some members of the tribe, who questioned his legitimacy. Yet, Raksa persevered, driven by his desire to prove himself worthy of Silva's faith. He embraced the Komodo culture wholeheartedly, burying his past and embracing a new identity.
-
Social Integration:
Raksa's lack of understanding of Western morals and ethics initially made his transition into Komodo society smoother. He was a blank slate, ready to be molded by the tribe's values. He learned to see strength as the ultimate virtue and loyalty to the tribe as the highest calling.
As Silva's adopted son, Raksa carries the weight of high expectations. The chieftainship is hereditary, but merit is paramount. Raksa knows that he will be the first to be scrutinized, as his position is not technically earned. He must demonstrate not only strength but also wisdom and leadership qualities.
-
Culture Clash: Raksa's Return to the West
Raksa's return to British society will be filled with conflicts:
Violence: Raksa has been brought up to believe that the way to solve a dispute is through violence. This will clash with the laws set in Britain.
Possessiveness: He has been brought up to see women as something to be won, and as such will not take well to the idea of other men flirting with Hermione.
Jealousy: Raksa may lash out upon seeing Hermione talking to other boys.
Lack of Modesty: Raksa will have no concept of nudity being shameful in certain situations.
Raksa and Hermione:
Hermione will struggle with Raksa being so possessive with her. She will also experience Raksa's lack of concept of modesty, as well as his tendency to solve issues with violence. Raksa would not understand the concept of courting, he might even see it as a waste of time, as in his culture, it is more important to show strength.

OLD VERSION BELOW
-
The Nu Ta'ar, people of the Komodo, are a warrior tribe forged in the crucible of a dangerous rainforest world. Their existence is a constant battle for survival, a dance between predator and prey. Modeled after history's most formidable warrior cultures, their societal structure, ethics, and daily lives are starkly different from modern Western norms. This essay explores the Komodo way of life, focusing on the upbringing of Raksa, the adopted son of Chieftain Silva, and the inevitable cultural clashes that will arise when he confronts the values of his birthright.
-
Everyday Life: A Symphony of Survival
The Komodo live in small, fiercely independent villages, each housing a single tribe. Their homes are tent-like huts, providing basic shelter from the harsh elements. Daily life revolves around sustenance, defense, and the constant honing of warrior skills. Men, larger and stronger than women, primarily fulfill the role of warriors, while women are involved in tasks such as preparing food, tending to the young, and creating essential tools.
The day begins before sunrise. The air is thick with humidity and the sounds of the jungle. Men will often head out on hunts, their primary aim to provide meat for their families. The Komodo are carnivores, relying on the animals of the forest for survival. The hunt is not merely a means of acquiring food; it is a ritualistic act, a demonstration of strength and cunning. Similar to the Maasai’s warrior traditions, the Komodo see killing as a necessary part of life, a demonstration of dominance over the natural world.
Children are immersed in the warrior culture from their earliest days. From the moment they can walk, they are taught basic survival skills, mimicking the growls and snarls of the adults, learning to assert themselves. At the age of six, they participate in their first Caci dance against other children. This ritualistic duel is a display of nascent skills, a playful yet serious competition that foreshadows their future roles in the tribe. The Caci dance is not just a fun warrior game; it’s a crucial part of their social development. It teaches them respect for their opponents, control of their aggression, and the importance of honor.
The Komodo are skilled in battle, using bullwhips and spears with deadly precision. Their claws and sharp teeth are always at the ready. The concept of "might makes right" reigns supreme. Elders hold positions of respect, not necessarily due to age alone, but due to their proven strength and wisdom in battle. Water is collected from clear lakes and rivers, and the tribe relies on the natural resources of the rainforest for their needs. After sunset, most retire to their huts, while some take watch along the edge of the treeline to keep the village safe from dangers and intruders.
-
Laws, Ethics and Rituals: The Code of the Komodo
Komodo society operates on a system of unwritten laws and deeply ingrained ethics. Honor, courage, and loyalty to the tribe are paramount. Cowardice is the ultimate shame, and betrayal is met with swift and brutal punishment.
-
Key Aspects of Komodo Ethics:
Might is Right: Physical strength and combat prowess are the ultimate measures of worth. Those who are weak are often marginalized, and dominance is asserted through displays of power.
Honor in Combat: While they are fierce warriors, the Komodo adhere to a code of honor in combat. Although the Caci dance is meant to be a fun warrior-game, it is dishonorable to inflict scars on the face, as it would be considered a permanent degradation of their rival. However, that does not mean they are above sneaky underhanded tricks that can get them a win over a rival, and they are more than willing to use trickery in war.
Loyalty to the Tribe: The Komodo are fiercely loyal to their tribe. Family ties are strong. Protecting the tribe and its members is their primary duty. Betrayal is the most heinous crime.
Respect for Ancestors: While they primarily pray to the goddess for their dead, ancestors are revered. Their spirits are believed to continue to watch over the tribe.
Death and the Goddess: The Komodo believe in a goddess, and they implore her to accept the spirits of their fallen into her realm.
Trial to Adulthood: Children are considered adults when they hit puberty and make their first kill against an enemy.
-
Social Behaviors:
Dominance Displays: Growls, snarls, and the Caci dance are used to assert dominance and establish hierarchies within the tribe.
Ritualistic Hunting: Hunting is not just for sustenance; it's a demonstration of strength, skill, and connection with the natural world.
Storytelling: Oral traditions are vital for preserving history, legends, and moral lessons. Stories of great warriors and past battles are often shared around the campfire.
-
Juxtaposing Komodo Ethics with Modern British Ethics:
The values of the Komodo stand in stark contrast to modern British ethics, particularly those of the wizarding world:
Value of Life: Modern society places a high value on individual life, while the Komodo prioritize tribal survival and see death as an inevitable part of life.
Equality: Modern society strives for equality and fairness, while the Komodo are a hierarchical society based on strength and dominance.
Conflict Resolution: British society favors diplomacy and negotiation, while the Komodo resolve conflicts through displays of force or, if it's necessary, war.
Compassion and Empathy: British society emphasizes compassion and empathy, while the Komodo prioritize strength and self-reliance.
-
Raksa's Journey: From Abandoned Child to Komodo Warrior
Raksa's upbringing would have been a rigorous indoctrination into the Komodo way of life. Silva, as chieftain, would have overseen Raksa's training personally.
Early Physical Training: From a young age, Raksa would have been put through grueling physical exercises to build strength and endurance, compensating for his lack of physical muscle.
Weapon Training: Raksa would have trained extensively with the bullwhip and spear, learning to wield them with deadly precision. Silva would have emphasized technique and strategy to make up for any physical disadvantage.
Combat Sparring: Regular sparring matches with other children, and later adults, would have hardened Raksa, teaching him to fight without mercy.
Survival Skills: Raksa would have learned to track animals, build shelters, find water, and identify medicinal plants.
Komodo Lore: Silva would have taught Raksa the history of the tribe, their legends, and their code of honor.
Caci Dance Mastery: Raksa would have been expected to excel at the Caci dance, using it to assert his dominance and prove his worth as Silva's heir.
Raksa's transition was easier because he did not have a moral compass at the young age he was adopted. He never knew a family that was nurturing, and his past experiences only gave him an understanding of neglection. He accepted Silva's tribe as his family and became one of them.
-
Culture Clash: Raksa in the Wizarding World
When Raksa eventually re-enters British wizarding society, the culture clash will be immense. His Komodo upbringing will clash with the values of the wizarding world in numerous ways:
Social Interaction: Raksa's direct, aggressive communication style will be seen as rude and uncivilized. His reliance on displays of dominance will be met with confusion and hostility.
Conflict Resolution: Raksa's instinct to resolve conflicts through force will be seen as barbaric and unacceptable. He will struggle to understand the wizarding world's emphasis on diplomacy and negotiation.
Moral Values: Raksa's Komodo ethics will clash with the wizarding world's emphasis on compassion, empathy, and the value of life. He may struggle to understand the moral outrage at killing, especially in warfare.
Hermione's Dilemma: Hermione's attraction to Raksa will be a source of internal conflict. While she is drawn to his strength and intensity, to his warrior spirit and his will, she will struggle to reconcile those feelings with her intellectual understanding of modern ethics and morality. She will also struggle with the fact that Raksa is nothing like the prince charming she always thought would sweep her off her feet, and she discovers that love and logic does not mix well.
-
Specific Situations of Culture Clash:
Raksa getting into a physical altercation with a bully at Hogwarts for insulting him.
Raksa struggling to understand why wizards don't use lethal force against Death Eaters.
Raksa expressing his disgust at Hermione's pacifistic views.
Raksa attempting to assert dominance over Ron Weasley through verbal taunts and displays of physical strength.
Even tho Raksa is physically not as strong as the Komodo people, he is still as strong as a bear, and his fighting skills are superb from his training with the Komodo. He also has his magic, which makes him a formidable opponent.
The Komodo way is brutal, but it is effective in their world. Raksa's journey will be a test of whether he can bridge the gap between two vastly different cultures, or whether he will forever remain a warrior torn between two worlds.
----
Note:
This is just a fanfic idea for a crossover between Harry Potter and the game Nusantara (on itch and Steam).
And my theory on the tribal life in that tribe, based on what little information I can find in the game.
This is the old version.
