UPDATE: The mother of Sylvain posted a new tweet saying that she was speaking on her own accord without consulting Sylvain himself. According to the tweet, Sylvain respects all forms of art of his OC, regardless of content. So if you were planning on drawing something involving his OC, go ahead!

Bronies already made NSFW pictures of Stellar Eclipse, even though Sylvain Portelance, the OC's creator and VA who has spinal muscular atrophy, and his mother asked people not to do so.

Also, apparently putting that OC on the show, even though it was a simple request from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, is "political bullshit" and has no place in MLP.

I know I usually don't post such negative stuff on this blog, but holy shit.

This cutie patootie that we saw in the newest episode of mlp is named Stellar Eclipse. He's an oc of an ill kid who got his wish of having him show up in the show thanks to Make-A-Wish.

I have to say, kudos to the kid. This design is very pretty and adorable. He did a great job designing him.

About the Wheelchair Pony in "Trade Ya"

So I learned that the pony's inclusion was the result of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and that the kid who voiced the pony has type III spinal muscular atrophy. I would just like to take the time to voice my support for Make-A-Wish and thank them once more on behalf of this kid.

Something few people know about me is that I, too, had a wish granted from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. While I was still undergoing chemo for stage 4 neuroblastoma (when I was two years old), my wish was to go to Disney World and meet Mickey Mouse. I was so beaten down by the treatment when I did go that I was still wearing a mask to prevent myself from getting infected by anything else. But I do distinctly remember meeting Mickey. It was something that left a mark on me, on my family, and even on the park staff. My mother tells me occasionally that the person in the Mickey costume met up with them later out of costume, bawling her eyes out and wanting to meet us as herself.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation and other charities are fantastic in that they acknowledge and reinforce the transformational effects of helping others. It's not just something that gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling. It is a truly human experience that I really wish everyone would get to share in. We are connected in ways that we cannot even fathom, and despite innumerable attempts by otherwise well-meaning people to divide us, we always find inspiration and support in those around us.

Let's never forget that we are all in this together and that we have many daily opportunities to make a huge difference in someone's life, even if it's by doing something that might seem insignificant.

Drawing a ____! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU75gP3TkW0 Had a TON of fun drawing Andi from Avalon Roselin's Stellar Eclipse series. The design calls back a lot on my love for the character design in Disney's Gargoyles (And was an inspiration for the author as well! lol) and I also experimented with the fashion as well! It's got loosely inspired Irish clothing with a bit of my own fantasy fashion flare. I thought it turned out to be quiet the cute outfit for this character! :3

The second picture features characters Azzie and Naesa, two cousins having a moment out by the lake. 

“That`s better,” Naesa sighed, leaning back on her hands. “ I wish I had swimming aids, but this will do until I can get some.”

“Does it...” Azzie caught himself being rude, but he couldn’t leave his thought half-spoken with her peering at him. “Does it feel weird?”

“It did at first,” Naesa said, rubbing the place where her shins used to connect to her knees. “I’m mostly used to it now.” She tilted her head back, looking as comfortable as Azzie had ever seen her. “I wish it hadn’t happened, but I’m alive and that’s what matters. So what if a few things are different? I can deal with it.”

“That’s really brave,” Azzie said, and he hoped he wasn’t trying too hard *not* to stare.

Naesa shrugged. “Not really. I mean, it’s not that far off from you, right? You can’t always talk like other people, so you find other ways to communicate.” She patted her prosthetics. “I’ve still got legs, they’re just a little different.”
