Imagine there’s an artist in Beacon Hills who’s famous for their work but no one knows who it is (like Banksy). Allison loves art, and drags the others to see an exhibition.

One particular piece catches their attention: a gorgeous sculpture of a nude body, from the thighs to the neck, and carved so to give the illusion that slender arms were holding a piece of fabric to their waist, covering their genitals, but the bare chest suggests it’s a male figure.

“Am I crazy in thinking that that looks like you?” Allison hesitantly asks Stiles.

Stiles snorts. “I’m flattered that you think I look that good.”

“I don’t know,” Scott says slowly. “I’ve seen you naked more times than I’d like.”

“You say that like it’s a bad thing,” Stiles says defensively.

“Allison’s right,” Scott says. “It kinda does look like you. The arms, the moles—even the dimple in the butt cheek.”

Stiles opens his mouth to object but hesitates. He looks closer at the details. His eyes go wide. It is his butt.

“Holy shit,” he whispers.

The others laugh it off and move on to other pieces but Stiles can’t take his mind off the statue. That’s when realisation hits him.

There is only person who has seen him naked often enough to be able to create such detail. His boyfriend. Derek.

The mysterious anonymous artist is Derek.

And he's only got one bargaining chip - his name; Mieczysław. Derek lost everything the day his pack died, and again when he learnt Stiles was his soulmate (only to lose him in the same breath). His last hope was that the pack could decode Stiles' clue and bring him home, so he could apologize and make things right.

Sterek Week '23 // Day 3, Worlds Collide / @sterekweek-2023

Rebel vs Empire / Star Wars AU Stiles Stilinski, a former Republic officer turned rebel, is secretly acting as a double agent for the Empire after the Imperial Security Bureau took his father hostage and forced him to turn on his rebel cell. His ISB handler is an agent who has close connections to Derek Hale, an Imperial senator who sits on the Intelligence Oversight Committee. Derek, who has become disillusioned with the Empire and is doing all he can to protect his planet from being crushed under the authoritarian heel of Imperial oppression, intercepts Stiles' message from his handler first, then decides what to send to the ISB that is the least damaging and won't blow either of their covers. In turn, he uses his position as a senator to feed bits of classified Imperial information via the handler to Stiles who passes it on to his rebel cell. When the ISB handler mysteriously disappears and the pair arrange to meet for the first time, things begin spiralling out of control very quickly. Their twisted symbiotic relationship is a dangerous dance during a time when Emperor Palpatine's hands are closing tighter and tighter around the throats of those who remain loyal to the idea of the old Republic. Gradually, as their worlds begin to collide, Stiles and Derek start to recognise that there's no one else left for them to trust but each other.

Created for the @sterekreversechallenges 1000 cakes challenge. This one has been up on AO3 anonymously since early December, and all creators were finally revealed today!

I have a bit of a habit of accidentally inspiring myself to write fics when I make moodboards, and this one is no exception. I have a couple of other things that I need to work on first, but I will be writing something based on this as soon as I get the time! We're back for 2024!

Teen Wolf AU Fest is an open collection prompt fest that will take place over five weeks, starting in the first week of May.

This fest will be similar to fests like Flufftober or Kinktober in that anyone can participate as little or as much as they want. Instead of daily prompts, however, there will be two weekly prompts to choose from. For 2024, these prompts will be beings and places. We're also introducing bonus prompts for genre.

FAQ

This is a low-key, participate as-you-wish fest. You can create something for all five weeks or just for one.

The prompts will be posted weekly through the Tumblr fest blog (@twaufest). At least one of the weekly prompts should be incorporated in the work.

There will be two prompts per week. You can use one or both of them. There will also be a bonus genre prompt, if you wish to also include that.

You can create one work using just one of the weekly prompts, or create one work with both prompts, or create two works using one prompts for each work.

All ships are welcome (or lack thereof).

All types of transformative fanworks are welcome.

Your work can be shared in the AO3 collection (twaufest24) and/or on Tumblr by tagging @twaufest.

Rules

AU works only. Since this is an AU fest, all works must be AUs. They can be human-AUs, supernatural AUs, or any other type of AU. But they cannot be fully canon or just canon divergent.

Tag your works. Fics must be tagged appropriately. Please tag for major content warnings and other common warnings/triggers.

At least one of the weekly prompts must be used in your work for that week.

Late submissions are accepted while the fest is ongoing. The collection will close a week or two after the fest is over for the year. If I run this fest again next year, I’ll reopen the collection at that time.

If you are participating as a reader, please practice good fandom etiquette. If you don’t like a work or a particular ship, don’t read it or use the back button. All TW ships and all types of transformative fandom works are welcome.

Sterek Week '23 // Day 7, Haunted & Bewitched / @sterekweek-2023

Return to Hogwarts / Hogwarts AU More than a decade ago, Derek and Stiles were students at Hogwarts together. As members of Slytherin and Ravenclaw respectively, they formed an unlikely friendship despite their differences in background and social circles. But just as they began to grow close, the Second Wizarding War pulled them apart. Derek, a pure-blood and werewolf to boot, had little choice but to follow the Dark Lord's orders. Eventually he and his sister turned against the Death Eaters, but at great cost to his family. Stiles, a Muggle-born, made the same choice as many others in his position did to make their families forget them for their own safety. With a lot of bad blood between the two camps, reconciliation has been difficult and Stiles and Derek hadn't spoken or seen each other since the Battle of Hogwarts. Having moved on with their lives and achieved much in their respective fields since, they only rarely thought of the other. To both of their surprise, they learn they're each up for prestigious teaching positions at the school: Derek for Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Stiles for Charms. Now that they're returning to Hogwarts as colleagues and fellow professors to train a new generation of wizards and witches, they have a chance at reestablishing the relationship they once had. But taking that chance is easier said than done, and both of them might need a little push to be the first to break the ice.
