stobin platonic soulmates, cosmic twins, hive-mind, knows exactly what the other is thinking at all times, “it’s a twin thing” even though everyone knows they’re not really related, coming home to each other instead of their empty lonely houses, inside jokes, movie nights, late night drives. wishing they had met earlier in their lives. planning to run away from hawkins together but are never quite sure if they’ll actually be able to leave their cursed little town. stobin spending robin’s birthday together after what happened at starcourt, steve’s face still purple and bruised as he bakes her a cake. she takes a bag of frozen peas out of the freezer and presses it to his face after he puts her cake in the oven. Steve flinches at the touch before Robin slowly works her way closer. Steve so touch starved he’s touch repulsed. can only handle touch if it’s violent. she blows out her candles, steve pretends not to notice when she wipes her tears. it’s a quiet day, they don’t need anyone else because they wouldn’t understand. robin’s birthday wish was to find someone she could trust, someone she could be herself around. someone who would stay. steve wished for the same thing a long time ago. forgot about it until now. they didn’t know they had the same wish until years later when they finally leave hawkins and get that apartment they dreamed about. when steve gives a speech at robin’s wedding, handing her off to her new life partner and content knowing that regardless of what they were to each other, they’d always be each others first choice. her wife would just have to get used to the fact that they were a package deal, and whoever steve married in the future would have to be okay with that too. stobin and their serendipity. they never would have became friends if it wasn’t for the upside down, the trauma they endured together. a great thing to come out of a horrible thing.

Can we agree that if Robin had a girlfriend that played a sport, she would force Steve to go to all the games/meets with her. He doesn’t want to go at first, but he actually enjoys it and then takes Robin to all the games, even if they’re hours away, both of them are there. Steve becomes Robin’s girlfriend’s #2 fan, he makes posters for her and all that.
Bonus:
If Robin gets sick and can’t make it to the game, Steve still goes🥺 One of them is always there to watch her game.

I am looking for a very specific post that was made in the last few days. It's an analysis post about how Steve would feel about Robin and Nancy being a couple. It touched base on how he would still be heartbroken from Nancy, but happy for them as a couple, so he'd be really protective over Robin to keep her from getting heartbroken as well, especially when they go to parties and start drinking, due to his past experience. If you guys know who posted this, PLEASE let me know, I want to sing them praises.

After Robin and Steve became friends, Robin’s slightly superior braincell combined with Steve’s to become one, arguably pretty good braincell in the right circumstances. When they’re together, it’s perfect and they can accomplish some pretty crazy shit. Unfortunately since they now share one braincell, it gets passed around a lot so each of them often get stuck in moments when they do not possess the braincell. That happens to Steve more often, since Robin usually has the braincell when they are not together. When Steve has the braincell, he’s great but Steve tends to lose the braincell when he has it, leaving them both a mess until they can retrieve it, but they can only do that when they’re together.

Warning: anti nancy
Ok so instead of Robin having a crush on Nancy, i believe she would absolutely fucking despise her.
like Steve is her best friend, and Steve’s trust issues definitely worsened after Nancy cheated on him, and like why would she have a crush on her??? Even if Steve had forgiven Nancy, Robin wouldn’t because she made her best friend cry and only solidified Steve's belief that everyone would leave once they found someone better than him
Thats all. I like Nancy, she is badass, i just think Robin would dislike her a lot

To me it’s the fact that Steve assumed Robin had a license but still woke up 3 hours before his work shift to drive her to school everyday.
That is not a plot hole everybody, that is just the kind of person Steve Harrington is.

One day I'll stop thinking of steddie hcs because of Taylor Swift songs but not today, because, like. The line "to you I can admit that I'm just too soft for all of it" in Sweet Nothing is so Steve Harrington coded to me (CW// for implied child abuse/neglect)
Like, imagine lil baby Steve being this kind, caring kid who has his impulses towards good, towards softness forced out of him by his parents' expectations and the need to be like other boys, to perform the expected masculinity of a Midwestern golden boy.
And the worst part is that Steve likes not having to worry about anyone at first. It's a sort of freedom to give in to his basest impulses. Because the Steve of before, gentle Steve, felt everything so much. And now he knows the power, the breathtaking head rush, of not caring. He gets in trouble; mouths off at school; throws loud, messy parties; goes through girls like they're nothing, and it feels good.
Until it doesn't.
Until Nancy and Dustin and Robin. Until they start making him care again.
It's a slow return to self, like gaining consciousness after a night of binge drinking, and it hurts. Because not only are all the emotions-- the impulses towards love--crashing back into him, but so is the delayed onset guilt from his time as King; so is the trauma of averting yearly apocalypses. And Steve doesn't have any mental resilience towards this kind of pain.
And what if the only two people in the world who get it, who get Steve, are Robin and Eddie. To these two people, Steve tells the truth about becoming the boy he was before, the terrible one, the one who didn't care. He shares how easy it was, what a relief, to shed the burden of being a kindhearted boy in rural Indiana. He tells them how much it ached, back then, to do the simple, human, act of caring. How the coldness of his parents and the friends they approved of made him feel empty, made him think maybe he was unlovable, forced him to twist his very sense of self into a person he didn't recognize.
And Eddie and Robin. They know what it is to be softhearted in a place that awards hardness; a place that warped Steve's goodness into a mockery of the All-American Boy. They show him how to love with his whole self, uninhibited, but how to protect himself too. Because rediscovering his kind heart is one thing, but in a life that was privilege, money, a last name that meant something, Steve hasn't learned the kind of emotional resilience necessary to be open, vulnerable, kind.
It's with Eddie and Robin that Steve first accepts his softness, the parts of himself he learned to see as weak. And it's with them that he learns to find the strength in being a person in this world who is kind, who cares, who loves with his whole heart and without shame.

I loved the first commission so much, I couldn't resist ordering another one as a parallel of sorts! This lovely drawing is by @toktopus-art. It's based on a scene from Chapter 26 of my vamp!Eddie/Steve-gets-Vecna'd fic, laughing at the broken glass.
Scene excerpt is below, and the AO3 link to the fic is on my pinned post.
Steve wished they could just stay like this, but there were only two more songs left on this A-side. “Hey, can I see your bracelet?” Eddie asked. If not for his all-too-casual tone, Steve wouldn’t have suspected anything. “Pulling out all the stops, huh?” Steve asked wryly. Eddie flashed a shameless grin at him. Chuckling, Steve tugged his sleeve down before lifting up his wrist. To his pleasant surprise, the glow-in-the-dark effect was actually noticeable. Eddie took a moment to share in the admiration of the bracelet before grabbing Steve’s hand and tugging it down. “This is better, yeah?” Eddie asked. “Huh?” Steve turned to look at him again, but Eddie was staring straight up at the sky. “Than just sitting in your car in the freezing cold by yourself, I mean.” “I had Freddie Mercury with me.” “I’m serious.” Eddie finally turned his head to face Steve again. His expression certainly matched his words. Steve couldn’t help but tense up at the shift in tone, though he was swiftly eased by the way Eddie’s thumb brushed across his knuckles. “I...hate that you even have to ask.” Steve managed to smile, even though Eddie frowned at that. “Yeah, this is better.” One song left. It wasn’t fair.

“I don’t think I’m straight.”
Steve had reached that conclusion exactly ten seconds before saying it out loud. Laying upside down on the couch of his house with his best friend draping her legs on top of him.
“Is that what you were thinking about?” Robin asked, not lifting her eyes from her book.
“Yeah, it just makes sense.”
“Do you want to talk about it?”
Steve hummed thoughtfully. Did he want to talk about it? Was it important enough? Did it change anything?
“I feel the same,” he said. “I thought being gay would feel different.” For a second, Steve was sure Robin would tell him that was a stupid thing to think.
“Are you gay?” Robin asked instead, because she is Robin. She was able to ask something in a judgemental tone without being judgy.
“I'm not straight.” he repeated.
“Pretty sure there are more than two options.” She explained with a joking tone. It was lucky, she thought, that she found a zine hidden in a library when she visited her aunt in Indianapolis.
“How do I know what I am?”
“I don't know, actually,” she said, putting her book down. “I've never seen what the big deal with men is.” Robin explained, crossing her arms. “That's how I knew.”
“I definitely see the big deal with women,” Steve responded simply.
“What about men?”
“I think I always saw the big deal, I just pretended it did not exist.” Steve explained.
“Oh, sweet old denial.” She teased. “How do you feel about this?”
“I would feel better if I had better taste.” Steve deadpanned, causing Robin to laugh and kick him. He slid out of the sofa dramatically to the floor. “Kicking me while I'm most vulnerable, Buckley? I see your game.”
“I have been bidding my time to find your weak spot, Harrington.” Robin joked lightly, jabbing Steve’s legs with her foot. “You will fall, Steven!”
Steve retaliated by pulling her into the floor.
“Look who's falling now?”
“Whatever,” Robin pushed herself to sit upward, sitting on the floor with her back against the sofa. Steve mimicked her with his back against the coffee table. “Who is the guy?” she asked.
“I don't wanna tell you,” Steve whispered, more out of respect for their tradition than anything else. “You’ll make fun of me.”
“Of course I will,” she whispered back. Steve reached for her hand to intertwine their fingers and she held him without batting an eye. “That’s kinda my job as your soulmate.” Steve chuckled. “I have to make sure whoever it is doesn’t mess up our vibe, you know?” He didn’t.
“I’m sure he won’t."
"Are you really gonna make me guess?" Steve lit up at the suggestion. Before he could speak, Robin continued "I'm not gonna guess, just tell me."
"Are you afraid of getting it wrong and looking like a fool?" He teased.
"It's Eddie." She answered less than a second later.
Steve did not respond, shocked at her quick response.
"Who's the fool now, Steve?" The smile on her face was infectious to Steve, who poker her with his foot.
"How did you do that?"
"By having eyes."
"What do you think?" She closed her eyes and hummed as Steve waited for her response.
"I think he looks at you the same way you look at him."
"I should ask him out."
"I can be your wingman!" She exclaimed.
"Oh, my god, yes!"
"We have to make a plan," Robin yelled. She jumped to her feet, letting go of Steve's hand, and dashed up the stairs. "I'm going to get some paper."
Steve stayed behind, sitting more comfortably on the floor, and removing the magazines they had on the coffee table off.
They made a plan, that ended in more of a disaster which is a story for another time. There is only one thing that is important.
Eddie said yes.

I like how I’m slowly turning my room into a Stranger Things shrine lol. I have a Robin funko pop figure (my first ever pop figure). I have my Robin and Steve posters. This weekend, I have a Nancy poster and another Robin funko pop figure coming. Plus, I just ordered a Nancy funko pop figure, which should be here in the next 2-3 weeks. I might go broke, but at least I’ll be happy😂😂 Now, I’m just waiting until Target releases the Nancy and Robin funko pop set. After those drop and I get my hands on one, then I’ll move onto getting Scoops Ahoy, Robin and Stevie.
…I think I may have a problem…
