9 favorite characters tag game
Thanks for the tag @contrivedcoincidences6 !
I tag, anyone interested because I’m lame like that.
Some of my faves as shown above:
Elaine Benes (an icon and a legend)
Niles Crane (my rewatch of Frasier has been a delight, and he is a huge reason for that)
Susie Myerson (I love Midge but Susie is the damn show for me)
Steve “Patch” Johnson (so yeah, I thought Stranger Things had a lock on redemption arcs for obnoxious, smarmy, long-haired denim vest wearing 80s dudes named Steve. The arcs where they’re revealed as sensitive, romantic goofballs and become protective badass papas to kids that they save from weird situations. Anyway, I was wrong. DOOL did it first and they did it brilliantly.
C.J Cregg (also an icon and a legend. I really need to do a West Wing rewatch.)
Kayla Brady-Johnson (seen here working undercover to help Steve while rocking a fedora. She’s a sweetheart badass surgeon who’s been to hell and back, even by soap heroine standards, (like she fought the literal devil last season when he possessed her best friend). Anyway, she’s a boss and an adorable dork and I’ll love her forever)
Liz Lemon (I’ve never related to a fictional character more in my life than I do to her. I love it but it also slightly frightens me)
Dana Scully (I mean, yeah. 😍 No explanation necessary)
David Rose (an actual king. this scene clinched my eternal love for this character and this show)

Watched the The Simpsons that had Death Note ! It was the greatest Modern Simpsons of all time, as far as I know [I haven’t been keeping up with them]
-- Marge gets tied up in the first one ! That’s a handy, careless baby. I want to see Homer’s dojo
-- The Death Tome was interesting to see them looking like that
-- Steve McDichael....were those....were those the NES football game names
-- I understand there was a comic long ago where Bart was Light and Lisa was L; I’ve never read it. The Simpsons people must really like Death Note
-- I know those episodes they mentioned in the last one ! There should be a Napoleon Dynamite: the Animated Series Land; I’d want to go there. I’ve never seen much of Bob’s Burgers

Some of the prosthetic makeup sculpts devised by Richard Edlund's Boss Film Studios for Stephen Geoffreys, Amanda Bearse and Chris Sarandon in Fright Night (1985).
Effects artist Steve Johnson wished for the prosthetic makeup on Goeffreys as Evil Ed to be 'a little Quasimodo', uneven and lumpy. Johnson had always been bugged by how 'symmetrical' the American Werewolf in London and Howling transformations were, and wanted to do his own spin.
Chris Sarandon had three stages of makeup applied to him to represent his monstrous states; Steve Neill was assigned to do the makeup, but was persuaded by an eager Randall William Cook into letting him do the final (and most monstrous) makeup stage.
Amanda Bearse's 'shark mouth' mask was a last minute job requested by Tom Holland; Randy Cook sculpted a simple latex mask for Bearse to wear, believing that it would only be used for one brief shot. He was embarrassed when it turned out it didn't just get used for several shots, but became the most iconic image of the film!
