my sons who the players were meant to keep alive and everyone bar the Murder Hobo banded together to indeed, keep alive.
Steven is based on like, part anime-protagonist, part Eddie Munster. and part Evil Ed the sidekick from (the 80s) fright night. He has so many teeth he's like what if Mileena was baby. Jesse is a grunge boy who has intense static feedback in his head most of the time (long story) and is Nancy's little brother. By "little brother" I mean the same serial killer tried to kill them both and that is how they ended up as vampires.

Ok so it’s been a while since I watched TSME. Am I correct in saying that neither Alain nor Steven ever refer to each other by name or by title? Like I don’t remember Alain ever calling Steven Daigo San or Champion outside of when Lysandre tells him initially that Daigo is 1. Similarly Daigo never calls Alan by name either or atleast I don’t remember it,bcuz Mannon is mannon kun. I don’t remember him calling Alan, as Alan kun or even just Alain. If true,Why do you think is that?JP culture thing?
Still so happy to get incombustible asks aksjsjs and i know this has been sitting in my inbox for a while but this week is… difficult and i wanted a bit more time to actually sit and remember properly (im taking a small break now and so now is the time)
Ok so for Alan calling Daigo, I can’t remember either. Which is super weird because I somehow feel so certain that he calls Daigo “Daigo-san” but can’t remember the instance in canon and so Im starting to wonder if I didnt see it in Momentum and just accepted that as canon??? I genuinely dont know
But for Daigo calling Alan I do distinctively remember at least 3 instances; one to thank him:
“And you, Alan, if you weren’t here, this path wouldn’t have been born. I’m grateful!”
and two because Alan was doing something reckless (opening the helicopter mid-flight and abseiling from it, respectively) and each time, he simply calls him “Alan” without the “-kun”.
Daigo also sometimes talks to Alan using just “kimi” (you). “You’re unbelievable (derogatory)” and “I just thought it was your way of being kind” are examples. I am not sure it has any significance.
I haven’t thought exactly about any significance behind Daigo calling Alan “Alan” when Manon is “Manon-kun”. For me, it does make them sound more casual with each other? And it makes me feel like Daigo doesn’t put himself above Alan by much, or at least doesn’t want to make it seem like he does (i understand -kun is usually used to refer to someone younger) so Itend to see it as Daigo very subtly putting less distance between them. Also from the vibe, it’s one of the reasons why I believe Alan’s not that much younger than Daigo in the anime (if theyre not the same age) as in, maybe Alan is just too big for a “-kun” to sound right to Daigo? Then again Alan gets called Alan by almost everyone so it could just be an Alan thing. But Manon calls him “Alan” (because they’re close) while Daigo is “Daigo-san” and similarly, Daigo makes a difference between the two (for unspecified reasons), so I’ve always found it kind of nice
As for why Alan never adresses Daigo (or at least almost never) I think it’s in part because Alan is rarely focused on Daigo (r.i.p Daigo) But regardless, when he does speak to Daigo, I do love it. I love the way they talk to each other in fact: sometimes polite, sometimes “you’re unbelievable (derogatory)”, sometimes “TAKE THAT - BLAST BURN!” sometimes very soft “I’ll go on first.” “Sure” (but the ‘sure’ is a very quiet ‘ah.’)
Really, for characters who interact in canon the little number of times that they have, they sure have a LOT of different facets to their interactions. There are dots to connect there. There are.

Sheff Utd into top six after win at Reading
Tumblr media
Sheffield United beat Reading to go sixth in the Championship and increase pressure on Royals manager Jaap Stam.
Leon Clarke crossed for Billy Sharp to open the scoring with a rebound off Vito Mannone before Mark Duffy cut inside and smashed into the top corner.
Omar Richards hammered in a rebound to make it 2-1 before Blades keeper Simon Moore saved Leandro Bacuna’s penalty.
Sharp sidefooted in from a long ball as the Blades moved above Bristol City and into the play-off places.
Re-live Tuesday’s EFL Championship action as it happened[1]
The game hinged on two second-half minutes with United’s substitute goalkeeper Moore pushing away Bacuna’s low spot-kick after Liam Kelly was bundled over.
Having been close to making it 2-2, Reading instead found themselves 3-1 behind a minute later when Sharp latched onto John Fleck’s pass to score via the inside of the post.
The striker’s second goal of the game ensured a fifth Championship game without a win for Stam, whose side are 18th, four points above the relegation zone.
In truth the margin of victory could have been greater, with Clarke, Sharp and Clayton Donaldson all spurning good chances for the Blades, who moved a point above Bristol City.
Moore was on the pitch because of an injury to Jamal Blackman, while Clarke was replaced by Donaldson after both players were injured in separate incidents the same first-half minute.

BURY (4-5-1): Murphy – Jones, Thompson, Aldred, Leigh – Ismail, Dawson, Reilly, Dai, Tuttle – Beckford.
SUNDERLAND (4-4-2): Steele – Matthews, O’Shea, Browning, Galloway – Cattermole, Gibson, Gooch, Watmore – Grabban, Vaughan.

Sunderland vs. Manchester City 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online
Struggling Sunderland play host to Manchester City on Sunday.
Sunday's Premier League encounter between Sunderland and Manchester City is a game with big ramifications at both ends of the table. Sunderland head into the match six points adrift of safety, and currently sit rock bottom. If they're to pull off another miraculous relegation survival, they're going to start having to win games soon.
City, meanwhile, can't afford to get complacent as they continue to fight for a top four finish. Pep Guardiola's side have recovered from a wobble with three straight Premier League victories, though Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United remain within touching distance.
How to watch, stream, and listen
TV: NBCSN (U.S. - English); Telemundo (U.S. - Spanish); Sportsnet World (Canada); Sky Sports 1/HD (U.K.)
Online streaming: NBC Sports Live (U.S. - English); Telemundo Deportes En Vivo (U.S. - Spanish); Sportsnet World Now (Canada); Sky Go (U.K.)
Make friends: Sunderland fans can head on over to Roker Report for full game coverage; Bitter and Blue is the place to be for all Manchester City supporters.

Three big things to know
1. Sunderland haven't been lucky on the injury front so far this season. For this match they'll certainly be without Paddy McNair, Lee Cattermole, Duncan Watmore and Victor Anichebe; Vito Mannone, Jordan Pickford, Jan Kirchhoff, Billy Jones, Jason Denayer and Steven PIenaar all face late fitness tests.
2. City will be without Ilkay Gündogan and Gabriel Jesus, who look likely to miss the remainder of the season. Aleksandar Kolarov is an early doubt.
3. Manchester City have won six straight matches against Sunderland in all competitions, though Sunderland have failed to score in only one of those matches. Given the defensive difficulties Pep Guardiola's side have had this season, the Black Cats may be confident of getting on the scoresheet again here.
