I feel like, for the sake of the generational divide, you shouldn't ever forget what it was like to be a teenager or what you were into as a teen,

I clicked on a video that was supposed to be talking about how gen alpha is being over sexualized by being exposed to influencers 24/7,

but instead it was just a 20 yr old woman making fun of teenagers for having an interest in makeup, and how ''when I was a teen I never asked for makeup'' and ''idk why any highschooler would care about how they look when they should be studying, *I* was never like that''.

I'm not sure if it's giving 'not like other girls' or if it's just her age showing and she legitimately doesn't remember a thing from before 2020, but being overly critical of younger people doing the exact same thing you or your peers were into at the same age isnt exactly helping anyone
