Opening Ceremony: Metaverse for SDGs lab and the innovation exhibit – young problem-solvers and inspiring innovations.
This special event at the eighth annual Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum) comprises a high-level opening ceremony for the Metaverse for SDGs lab and exhibit, followed by a showcase of innovations for addressing sustainability issues in local communities and beyond. A particular focus will be highlighting innovations that address multiple SDGs (the in-focus SDGs 6, 7, 9 and 11) and/or that address the needs of vulnerable communities.
This year's exhibit showcases some of the winners from various competitions and challenges throughout the United Nations System. Innovators will describe their cutting-edge initiatives and share insights from their experience implementing development solutions in areas including water, energy, innovation, and sustainable cities. They will discuss opportunities for these new technologies to accelerate sustainable and inclusive recovery from the pandemic towards a brighter future.
The STI Forum will facilitate discussions on science, technology and innovation cooperation in support of the SDGs. In addition to providing the mandated inputs for the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development to be held from 10 to 19 July 2023, the Forum will also take a broader look at the contribution of STI to the achievement of all the SDGs in recognition of the September mid-term review of SDG progress.

Cigna’s nopeinator
Tumblr media
I'm touring my new, nationally bestselling novel The Bezzle! Catch me THURSDAY (May 2) in WINNIPEG, then Calgary (May 3), Vancouver (May 4), Tartu, Estonia, and beyond!
Tumblr media
Cigna – like all private health insurers – has two contradictory imperatives:
To keep its customers healthy; and
To make as much money for its shareholders as is possible.
Now, there's a hypothetical way to resolve these contradictions, a story much beloved by advocates of America's wasteful, cruel, inefficient private health industry: "If health is a "market," then a health insurer that fails to keep its customers healthy will lose those customers and thus make less for its shareholders." In this thought-experiment, Cigna will "find an equilibrium" between spending money to keep its customers healthy, thus retaining their business, and also "seeking efficiencies" to create a standard of care that's cost-effective.
But health care isn't a market. Most of us get our health-care through our employers, who offer small handful of options that nevertheless manage to be so complex in their particulars that they're impossible to directly compare, and somehow all end up not covering the things we need them for. Oh, and you can only change insurers once or twice per year, and doing so incurs savage switching costs, like losing access to your family doctor and specialists providers.
Cigna – like other health insurers – is "too big to care." It doesn't have to worry about losing your business, so it grows progressively less interested in even pretending to keep you healthy.
The most important way for an insurer to protect its profits at the expense of your health is to deny care that your doctor believes you need. Cigna has transformed itself into a care-denying assembly line.
Dr Debby Day is a Cigna whistleblower. Dr Day was a Cigna medical director, charged with reviewing denied cases, a job she held for 20 years. In 2022, she was forced out by Cigna. Writing for Propublica and The Capitol Forum, Patrick Rucker and David Armstrong tell her story, revealing the true "equilibrium" that Cigna has found:
https://www.propublica.org/article/cigna-medical-director-doctor-patient-preapproval-denials-insurance
Dr Day took her job seriously. Early in her career, she discovered a pattern of claims from doctors for an expensive therapy called intravenous immunoglobulin in cases where this made no medical sense. Dr Day reviewed the scientific literature on IVIG and developed a Cigna-wide policy for its use that saved the company millions of dollars.
This is how it's supposed to work: insurers (whether private or public) should permit all the medically necessary interventions and deny interventions that aren't supported by evidence, and they should determine the difference through internal reviewers who are treated as independent experts.
But as the competitive landscape for US healthcare dwindled – and as Cigna bought out more parts of its supply chain and merged with more of its major rivals – the company became uniquely focused on denying claims, irrespective of their medical merit.
In Dr Day's story, the turning point came when Cinga outsourced pre-approvals to registered nurses in the Philippines. Legally, a nurse can approve a claim, but only an MD can deny a claim. So Dr Day and her colleagues would have to sign off when a nurse deemed a procedure, therapy or drug to be medically unnecessary.
This is a complex determination to make, even under ideal circumstances, but Cigna's Filipino outsource partners were far from ideal. Dr Day found that nurses were "sloppy" – they'd confuse a mother with her newborn baby and deny care on that grounds, or confuse an injured hip with an injured neck and deny permission for an ultrasound. Dr Day reviewed a claim for a test that was denied because STI tests weren't "medically necessary" – but the patient's doctor had applied for a test to diagnose a toenail fungus, not an STI.
Even if the nurses' evaluations had been careful, Dr Day wanted to conduct her own, thorough investigation before overriding another doctor's judgment about the care that doctor's patient warranted. When a nurse recommended denying care "for a cancer patient or a sick baby," Dr Day would research medical guidelines, read studies and review the patient's record before signing off on the recommendation.
This was how the claims denial process is said to work, but it's not how it was supposed to work. Dr Day was markedly slower than her peers, who would "click and close" claims by pasting the nurses' own rationale for denying the claim into the relevant form, acting as a rubber-stamp rather than a skilled reviewer.
Dr Day knew she was slower than her peers. Cigna made sure of that, producing a "productivity dashboard" that scored doctors based on "handle time," which Cigna describes as the average time its doctors spend on different kinds of claims. But Dr Day and other Cigna sources say that this was a maximum, not an average – a way of disciplining doctors.
These were not long times. If a doctor asked Cigna not to discharge their patient from hospital care and a nurse denied that claim, the doctor reviewing that claim was supposed to spend not more than 4.5 minutes on their review. Other timelines were even more aggressive: many denials of prescription drugs were meant to be resolved in fewer than two minutes.
Cigna told Propublica and The Capitol Forum that its productivity scores weren't based on a simple calculation about whether its MD reviewers were hitting these brutal processing time targets, describing the scores as a proprietary mix of factors that reflected a nuanced view of care. But when Propublica and The Capitol Forum created a crude algorithm to generate scores by comparing a doctor's performance relative to the company's targets, they found the results fit very neatly into the actual scores that Cigna assigned to its docs:
The newsrooms’ formula accurately reproduced the scores of 87% of the Cigna doctors listed; the scores of all but one of the rest fell within 1 to 2 percentage points of the number generated by this formula. When asked about this formula, Cigna said it may be inaccurate but didn’t elaborate.
As Dr Day slipped lower on the productivity chart, her bosses pressured her bring her score up (Day recorded her phone calls and saved her emails, and the reporters verified them). Among other things, Dr Day's boss made it clear that her annual bonus and stock options were contingent on her making quota.
Cigna denies all of this. They smeared Dr Day as a "disgruntled former employee" (as though that has any bearing on the truthfulness of her account), and declined to explain the discrepancies between Dr Day's accusations and Cigna's bland denials.
This isn't new for Cigna. Last year, Propublica and Capitol Forum revealed the existence of an algorithmic claims denial system that allowed its doctors to bulk-deny claims in as little as 1.2 seconds:
https://www.propublica.org/article/cigna-pxdx-medical-health-insurance-rejection-claims
Cigna insisted that this was a mischaracterization, saying the system existed to speed up the approval of claims, despite the first-hand accounts of Cigna's own doctors and the doctors whose care recommendations were blocked by the system. One Cigna doctor used this system to "review" and deny 60,000 claims in one month.
Beyond serving as an indictment of the US for-profit health industry, and of Cigna's business practices, this is also a cautionary tale about the idea that critical AI applications can be resolved with "humans in the loop."
AI pitchmen claim that even unreliable AI can be fixed by adding a "human in the loop" that reviews the AI's judgments:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/04/23/maximal-plausibility/#reverse-centaurs
In this world, the AI is an assistant to the human. For example, a radiologist might have an AI double-check their assessments of chest X-rays, and revisit those X-rays where the AI's assessment didn't match their own. This robot-assisted-human configuration is called a "centaur."
In reality, "human in the loop" is almost always a reverse-centaur. If the hospital buys an AI, fires half its radiologists and orders the remainder to review the AI's superhuman assessments of chest X-rays, that's not an AI assisted radiologist, that's a radiologist-assisted AI. Accuracy goes down, but so do costs. That's the bet that AI investors are making.
Many AI applications turn out not to even be "AI" – they're just low-waged workers in an overseas call-center pretending to be an algorithm (some Indian techies joke that AI stands for "absent Indians"). That was the case with Amazon's Grab and Go stores where, supposedly, AI-enabled cameras counted up all the things you put in your shopping basket and automatically billed you for them. In reality, the cameras were connected to Indian call-centers where low-waged workers made those assessments:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/01/29/pay-no-attention/#to-the-little-man-behind-the-curtain
This Potemkin AI represents an intermediate step between outsourcing and AI. Over the past three decades, the growth of cheap telecommunications and logistics systems let corporations outsource customer service to low-waged offshore workers. The corporations used the excuse that these subcontractors were far from the firm and its customers to deny them any agency, giving them rigid scripts and procedures to follow.
This was a very usefully dysfunctional system. As a customer with a complaint, you would call the customer service line, wait for a long time on hold, spend an interminable time working through a proscribed claims-handling process with a rep who was prohibited from diverging from that process. That process nearly always ended with you being told that nothing could be done.
At that point, a large number of customers would have given up on getting a refund, exchange or credit. The money paid out to the few customers who were stubborn or angry enough to karen their way to a supervisor and get something out of the company amounted to pennies, relative to the sums the company reaped by ripping off the rest.
The Amazon Grab and Go workers were humans in robot suits, but these customer service reps were robots in human suits. The software told them what to say, and they said it, and all they were allowed to say was what appeared on their screens. They were reverse centaurs, serving as the human faces of the intransigent robots programmed by monopolists that were too big to care.
AI is the final stage of this progression: robots without the human suits. The AI turns its "human in the loop" into a "moral crumple zone," which Madeleine Clare Elish describes as "a component that bears the brunt of the moral and legal responsibilities when the overall system malfunctions":
https://estsjournal.org/index.php/ests/article/view/260
The Filipino nurses in the Cigna system are an avoidable expense. As Cigna's own dabbling in algorithmic claim-denial shows, they can be jettisoned in favor of a system that uses productivity dashboards and other bossware to push doctors to robosign hundreds or thousands of denials per day, on the pretense that these denials were "reviewed" by a licensed physician.

Some thoughts about cpunk and mobility aids
I recently saw this post by @satellites-halo:
I think OP brings up a very good point here: if your mobility aid is obviously dangerous you can’t bring it places you’ll need to go. That said this isn’t the end of the story.
As a practitioner of HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts; using historical weapons from Europe) there are actually a lot of writings on using things like canes and chairs for self defense/offense. For example there was a several year streak in London where walking staffs were the most deadly weapon. When these books and treatises were written they weren’t adding spikes or barbed wire to these things.
I am pretty much a full time cane user due to my hEDS and POTS. I will not use it for a little bit but I end up unstable and in pain afterwards, I mainly do this for exercise/practice. So I have been very interested in learning how to use a cane in this way, as well as seeing how other, similar, aids have been used throughout history.
While not all of these forms of fighting are useful for all mobility aid users, such as full time wheelchair users or some forearm crutch users, there’s a surprising amount of people it will work for. For example, I’m currently reading a treatise by a man who is partially blind, that is his term with modern vocabulary we would call him legally blind, and he is good enough at fighting to be considered one of the most amazing swordsman and cane fighter. (It should be noted that he did not have access to glasses and mainly navigated the world tactually)
The only real requirement is that the aid should be built from a single piece (not any of the foldable kinds) and be of sturdy materials: metal, solid wood, etc. While I recognize that this does exclude a fair few mobility aids there’s still a fair few this works for: canes, rollators (though lifting them into position for fighting might be untenable for some people), forearm crutches (if used like a Roman forearm blade, again some may not be able to do this), and even some leashes for service dogs (used as a rope dart) to name a few. There are probably more in forgetting but it’s a lot.
The key thing about all of this is that you don’t have to add scary spikes that might make the TSA balk at you, you can just use a normal looking mobility aid to do the same thing. It should also be noted that most courts consider mobility aids to be part of the person using them for the purposes of assault charges; if someone touches your mobility aid in a way you don’t like, that’s assault and you can respond in kind. That isn’t legal advice and there’s still ‘appropriate force’ president to consider but twapping someone who is grabbing at your cane, especially maliciously, isn’t out of question for a normal reaction, and being good at doing so is preferable.
Ok, cool Beth, but what do I do with this info?
There’s a little part of this post that’s me trying to get more disabled people like me into a sport I love but I can’t do so without some caveats. Not all HEMA clubs are built the same and some can be downright nasty, please look up any club you consider joining and maybe ask a physical/occupational therapist before launching into a contact sport. If it’s not in your interest then that’s also fine, there are several forums that post book recommendations for learning cane fighting or uses of a chair in WWII fighting (what rollators are great for).
If you’re a cane user, there are actually custom canes that you can order that are especially made for fighting (that aren’t objectionable enough to be confiscated by anyone who does security) but also just getting a cane made from a hardwood works. The website https://canemasters.com has a great selection and a really nice custom ordering system.
I wish I had more for other forms of mobility aids but my research is limited, if you have more sources for this stuff please comment/repost with them. If that’s not your style my dms are always open for cool fighting stuff!
Be safe and stay punk!

Cyber attacco?

It could’ve been easily predicted that Will Schuester would expect his oldest to follow his lead, and Mathieu was never one to disappoint. In fact, the very fear of disappointment has been his biggest motivating factor for pretty much every decision he’s made since he was old enough to understand the concept. The majority of lessons he learned from his father weren’t about how to navigate the world, at least not in a way that translated well to his brain. Instead, his role in the family seemed to become hyperfocused on the performing arts when it was clear that Mathieu did in fact have a natural talent. With that talent being finely tuned under his dad’s training, did it really matter that his heart was never in it? Growing up, it didn’t seem like it.
The constantly moving nature of his family was exhausting. Mathieu learned to play the part well in front of the cameras, but he much preferred when he could find an excuse to sneak away on his own. He enjoyed peace and quiet, watching reruns of Jeopardy! during breaks at his dad’s studio and finding excuses to do his English homework on set. Mathieu has always been smart, but his performance abilities seemed to be the bigger point of discussion over his academic excellence.
Mathieu maintains that his problems with food (he’s always avoided calling it what it is: an eating disorder) hadn’t been purposeful in the beginning. It had all started early in his adolescence. Running late for breakfast, voice lessons that ran into dinnertime. But the more excuses he found to avoid meals, the faster he slid down a very slippery slope. Growing up surrounded by the media and underneath his parents’ watchful eyes, it was very rare for Mathieu to feel like he had any sort of control. When he did realize that his body and hunger were two things he had a say in, he knew he had to keep it secret. There were a few forum posts online, few and far between, that would catch sight of the oldest Schuester in the background of scenes and question if he was alright. But for the most part, Matheiu became an expert at lying. To his family, to his friends, and to himself every time he was sure that he was still in control.
When he finished high school and was admitted to PSU’s musical theatre program, it was naturally a cause for celebration. For the show, it was a great boost to the ratings, the ultimate testament to just how grand someone could become under Will’s tutelage. For Mathieu, it was an escape. Not that he would ever say that outloud, of course. He did miss his family once he was on campus, but it was also the first time he ever felt like he could really breathe. As expected, he did well in his program, but he also took the opportunity to take classes outside of his major as well. Science, language, humanities, literature – he loved every second of it. It also became apparent that while he had the training and talent (if not the proper nourishment) to keep up with his classmates, he was missing something that they had in abundance: a passion for the performing arts. Mathieu had spent so long assuming that this was the only option for him, that being good at something equated to it being your entire life. He had begun daring to think of a life outside of the arts, but ultimately it wasn’t his choice to leave the field. No, it all came to a crashing halt when he passed out during a dance lesson in his junior year, his body finally giving in after over a decade of self-abuse.
He tries not to think too much about the aftermath. Mathieu isn’t proud of how he reacted to being forced to accept what he’d done to himself. Still, that didn’t come close to the shame he felt when his family was made aware of the situation. A lifetime spent desperately trying not to disappoint, immediately wasted. Matheiu physically could not handle treatment and school at the same time, so he was forced to drop out and begrudgingly move back home, despite the increase in his parents looming over his shoulder.
Two years later, Mathieu returned to PSU, just not to their musical theatre program. His recovery has never been the most stable, but he knew that going back to the performing arts would be the worst possible choice. Instead he restarted his degree from scratch, focusing on psychology. He hadn’t realized he could love his major so much until then. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree, and then followed it up soon after by getting accepted into PSU’s neuropsychology master’s program. His ultimate goal is to earn a doctorate, but Mathieu is trying to follow his therapist’s advice and focus on one achievement at a time. He’s now in his second year of the program. Oftentimes, it feels like he’s walking a tightrope, still trying to keep from failing his family even more while also knowing how dangerous that can be. Some days are better than others, but he really is trying.
FAMILY BACKGROUND
The very epitome of theater kid himself, Will Schuester’s life was always going to be surrounded by performance. Unfortunately for him, marrying his high school sweetheart, Terri, turned out to be more sour than sweet, and when their relationship turned toxic, with Terri faking a pregnancy in an effort to keep him around, Will had to give up on his then-dream job of coaching a winning high school Glee Club for free to focus on his main Spanish teaching job. When news of Terri’s fake pregnancy came to light, Will filed for divorce, seeking comfort in the arms of his colleague, the school’s guidance counselor, Emma Pillsbury. The two wed in the year to follow.
Supported by his new wife—who made more than him financially anyway—Will decided to quit his job as high school Spanish teacher, and instead secure a space to open a performing arts studio. The studio and its classes growing in popularity quickly, Will was approached by a production company interested in making a reality show. Soon, The Schue Must Go On, a show focusing on the studio’s child performers with Will the adult face as the main teacher and owner, was born. It was supposed to be something of a filler show, but it gained followers quickly, and soon America was obsessed with watching bratty children compete against each other in their dance, voice and acting classes under Will’s guidance, his family shooting to fame in the blink of an eye.
As parents, Will and Emma can be described best as helicopter parents. They’re very over-protective, and try to be involved in every aspect of their children’s lives, despite how busy they are with The Schue Must Go On, which, somehow, is still going strong and has spawned many an off-shoot instalment. Will is an esteemed performing arts coach, and has appeared as a guest judge on various talent shows (AGT, The Voice, DWTS, etc.) alongside his role as head of his studio, and of the Schuester family.

The Most Effective Ways to Find Herpes Match on PositiveSingles
Tumblr media
Living with herpes can present unique challenges when it comes to dating and finding a compatible partner. Disclosing your status and navigating the social stigma around herpes can feel daunting. However, there are effective strategies to help you find your perfect herpes match on PositiveSingles, one of the leading online dating platforms for people with sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
PositiveSingles was founded with the goal of creating a supportive, judgment-free community for individuals living with herpes, HIV/AIDS, and other STIs. By joining this specialized dating site, you open yourself up to a pool of singles who understand the experience of having an STI and are more likely to be accepting and empathetic.
Here are the most effective steps to find your herpes match on PositiveSingles:
Create an Authentic and Compelling Profile The first and most crucial step is to build a profile that authentically represents who you are. This means being upfront about your herpes diagnosis from the start. Don't try to hide or downplay this aspect of your identity - own it. The right partner for you will appreciate your honesty and vulnerability.
In your profile, share details about your interests, hobbies, values, and what you're looking for in a partner. Discuss how herpes has impacted your life, but don't let it define you. Emphasize your positive qualities, passions, and the unique perspective you bring to relationships.
Use high-quality, recent photos that showcase your appearance and lifestyle. Avoid group shots that could confuse potential matches about which person you are. Remember, your profile is your opportunity to make a great first impression and attract compatible singles.
Utilize the Site's Matching and Search Tools PositiveSingles offers robust matching and search capabilities to help you find your ideal partner. Take the time to complete the site's questionnaire, which covers everything from your STI status to your dating preferences and lifestyle. This information is used to generate personalized match recommendations based on compatibility.
The advanced search function also allows you to filter potential matches by criteria such as age, location, interests, and herpes type. You can even specify your preference for partners who are also living with herpes. This targeted approach can save you time and ensure you're connecting with people who share your experiences and are open to dating someone with your condition.
Don't be afraid to reach out to members who seem like a good fit based on their profiles. Sending a friendly, personalized message can go a long way in sparking a connection.
Engage with the PositiveSingles Community One of the unique benefits of PositiveSingles is the vibrant online community. Take advantage of the forums, groups, and other social features to connect with other members. This can be a powerful way to build relationships, find support, and potentially discover romantic matches.
Participate in discussions about living with herpes, share your own experiences and insights, and ask questions. You may find that you have much in common with other members and build meaningful platonic connections. From these interactions, romantic relationships can sometimes blossom organically.
Additionally, engaging with the community can help you gain confidence, normalize your experience, and feel less alone in your herpes journey. This sense of belonging and understanding can make you more comfortable and appealing to potential partners.
Prioritize Safety and Communication When you do start connecting with potential matches on PositiveSingles, it's essential to prioritize safety and open communication. Discuss your herpes status upfront, even before meeting in person. This allows your match to make an informed decision about whether they are comfortable moving forward.
Be prepared to answer any questions your match may have about herpes, and don't hesitate to refer them to educational resources. Provide information about transmission risks, prevention methods, and ways to maintain a healthy, fulfilling sex life.
It's also crucial to establish clear boundaries and expectations around physical intimacy. Take the time to get to know your match and build trust before becoming physically intimate. This will help ensure a positive and satisfying experience for both of you.
Practice Patience and Persistence Finding your perfect herpes match on PositiveSingles may not happen overnight. Be patient and persistent in your search. Regularly log in, update your profile, and continue reaching out to potential matches. The more active and engaged you are on the site, the greater your chances of success.
Remember that every person's journey is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all timeline for finding love. Focus on taking care of yourself, building self-confidence, and maintaining a positive attitude. The right person for you is out there, and they will appreciate you for who you are, herpes and all.
In Conclusion Living with herpes doesn't have to mean the end of your dating life. By embracing your authenticity, utilizing the powerful tools on PositiveSingles, engaging with the supportive community, and prioritizing open communication, you can increase your chances of finding a compatible partner who accepts and celebrates you.
Remember, you are worthy of love, respect, and fulfilling relationships. With patience, persistence, and a commitment to self-love, you can navigate the world of online dating and discover your herpes match on PositiveSingles.

Are you really suggesting minors engage in kink online? If you don't sit down and shut up .... Just take all the kids to a Catholic priest if you love lifelong harm and molestation so damn much. You're nasty and harmful around women and minors. I'm not even a radfem I'm trans so don't even try that excuse.
I never said this either. No, I do not think minors should engage with kink online. Minors are not able to engage in the BDSM scene because BDSM events are restricted to adults. Obviously this also means that minors shouldn't be engaging with online BDSM communities either-- like discord servers, forums, etc. But minors have access to things like social media, and we have no control over the things they post or talk about.
It also depends what you classify as "engaging in kink online". Because yeah, minors should not be entering kink communities online if they are underage, and those communities should not be allowing them inside if they are underage. But if you're just saying that "kids shouldn't talk about sexual interest online", then idk how to tell you this but there's really no way to stop that. And if you're saying that kids shouldn't be having sex, again idk how to tell you this but they will anyway. And shaming them for having sexual interest isn't the answer. If you see a minor trying to interact with your spaces, make the in-charge people aware, and promptly remove them. Because BDSM spaces are for adults only. And those facilitators don't want minors there either. That's why any good community should have a vetting system so that no minors are interacting.
If you're talking about minors researching kink and learning about it safely from their desktop, I don't see what the problem is. Same with sex. That's why it's important to uplift the articles with proper information, so that curious people don't end up doing harmful shit, or getting into situations that are unhealthy. This is a known fact. If you don't provide sex education, kids go and have sex and have things like unwanted pregnancy, STIs, etc. But if you educate them, they will be much better prepared for having safer sex, and reduced risk of pregnancy and STIs. That's just how information works.
TLDR: Minors should not be interacting with BDSM spaces because those spaces are for adults, and the adults running those spaces should be strictly keeping it 18+. On the other hand, there is no way from stopping minors from researching BDSM on their own terms, or engaging in sex- kinky or not- with a partner. Unless you literally chain down your children to their house and never let them go out or see other people, I guess that is the only way you could keep them completely abstinent.

Porn Star Falls in Love
**work of fiction**
I didn't grow up wanting to be a porn star, I'm not entirely sure anyone has that ambition when they're young? Can you imagine your grade school teacher asking little Suzie what she wants to be and she says " The best at sucking cock". No it doesn't happen like that. I was in college, struggling to pay bills. I come from a middle class family, enough money to not qualify for too much finaincial aid, but not rich enough for my parents to pay my way through college. I was majoring in English Literature hoping to write, or at the least work in one of those huge library. Books and words have always been my comfort zone, making me a "nerd". I still love books and words but they don't pay my bills.
There was an advert on a school forum for a job within the film industry., felixble hours to fit around classes etc. It felt like a scam but I was willing to at least find out more. I called the number just for more information, and spoke to Jez - my now agent. He was open and upfront that this was the adult industry and they needed an assistant to do some minor jobs on set like coffee runs. I have read my fair share of smut so wasn't overly phased by the thought of seeing people have sex. I wasn't an overly sexual girl but I also was not a virgin. I was also blessed with a pornstars body, I just didn't really know it at the time. I have big tits that still sit pert without a bra. They're all natural. I have a curvacious body, which thanks to my student lifestyle was on the slimmer side. I have always prided myself on my long dark hair, and light green eyes.
I worked on sets for around two weeks meeting some of the industrys top names. It isn't quite as seedy as you think when porn is done right. Two (or more) consenting adults, with clean STI screens enjoying their bodies. If someone needs a break they have it. The crew are respectful and there are minimal people on set. I would often be waiting in a room off set for my next job.
After around two weeks had passed I went to set to find out that the female performer set to star that day was not able to make it in. I forget why. As I arrived I saw the guys packing up their kit.
"What'sgoing on?"
"Marissa isn't able to make it today. We have to close down production"
**more later**

A Woman's Guide to Sexual Health and Well-Being
Tumblr media
As a woman, it is important to understand the importance of sexual health and well-being. Not only does it affect our physical health, but also our mental and emotional well-being. To ensure that we are taking care of ourselves in this area, we have put together a guide to help you understand what sexual health is all about and how to maintain good sexual wellness.
First off, let’s start with understanding what exactly constitutes ‘sexual health’. Sexual Health refers to the overall physical, mental, and social well-being related to sexuality or sex life – including any issues relating to contraception choices through pregnancy planning right up until menopause if applicable! It encompasses everything from healthy relationships through safe sex practices such as using condoms or other forms of birth control; knowing your body so that you can identify any potential issues; maintaining regular check-ups with your top gynaecologist in Indore for preventive screenings like pap smears etc.; managing stress levels which can impact libido; eating healthy foods for hormone balance & energy levels etc. All these aspects play an integral role when considering one's own personal level of satisfaction when engaging in intimate activities - whether alone or with another person/partner(s).
As women often face unique challenges due to their anatomy (e.g., menstrual cycles), hormonal fluctuations throughout different phases (eugenics) & more - having access to resources on how best to manage these changes within the context of their own individual lifestyle preferences provides invaluable support towards achieving optimal well-being each step way! This includes being able to information regarding reproductive rights/choices available to them (in terms of abortion options); guidance setting realistic expectations around pleasure during intimacy based upon age/stage life they're at currently; tips developing stronger communication skills both inside outside bedroom eases feelings anxiety tension may arise if there's lack clarity between partners' desires needs...and much more!
Also Read: IVF Centre in Indore
In addition, staying informed via reliable sources is key here too: reading books and articles written by professionals in knowledgeable fields gives us the opportunity to learn new things and expand awareness of topics don't usually discuss openly with friends and family members especially case-sensitive subjects like STIs STD prevention testing methods childbirth preparation postnatal recovery strategies beyond just 'basics'. Having open dialogue with healthcare providers helps make sure to get accurate advice tailored specifically to individual situations rather than relying solely on hearsay rumors internet forums other unreliable platforms where misinformation could be rampant and spread quickly without proper vetting fact-checking processes placed first-hand source material always better option go by whenever possible!
