This Coffee Walnut Bread (S$3) from Watta Bakery is a franchise brand of homegrown halal-certified confectionery chain Swee Heng Bakery. Currently it only has three branches with two in the north and one at east side. Their products range seems to cater more to the average housing estate customers and are priced more affordable too. This pull apart loaf is glazed with sticky coffee sauce and studded with numerous chopped walnuts. Inside is soft and fluffy with a fragrant coffee flavour and crunchy walnuts.
PS - On a recent trip to the shop, they had increased the price to S$3.50 and shrunk the loaf size. :(

nothing makes me realize how Not Normal I am about touching things like working the cake department with another person who doesn't care about making a mess. my brain is just constant sirens going off because everything is sticky
#for me it's very easy to not make a mess because sticky things set my brain on fire#I notice the exact instant I get icing on something and can wipe it up before I get it everywhere#but I don't think that happens to other people so someone will be in there for like 5 minutes to get icing to write on a cake or something#and every object they've touched while doing that is now covered in icing#also people just PUTTING THING IN THE SINK without so much as rinsing them off and now I gotta put my hands in dirty sink water#I keep the sink filled because I'll get in trouble if a health person sees it not filled but I refuse to put anything in there to soak#idk why it's gotta be filled I just drain it and refill with fresh water when it's time to do dishes#only thing I soak are bowls that have glaze in them bc they're a pain if they dry but even then I just fill the bowl with water

This Coffee Walnut Bread (S$3) from Watta Bakery is so difficult to lay my hand on as it is forever sold out. Could be one or more of the following reasons – it’s halal, cheap and/or delicious. This pull apart bread is sticky on top and studded with pieces of walnut. When you put it into the mouth, the coffee flavour flooded the senses followed by the light sweetness and crunchiness of the walnut.
