Show vs Tell
"Don't tell me the moon is shining, show me the glint of light on broken glass." - Anton Chekhov, author.
A great quote. It gets shared every year at the SLWG Summer Writers Camp and we realized we have all this "writing advice" that we pass along. So I've collected a bunch and added them to the SLWG website as Writer's Notes. I will share more over the coming weeks.
