Lack of sleep and other things got me thinking about the narrative of how Black burly/stocky/chubby men are fetishized, and I rarely hear anything said about it. Though there are men who just legit embrace and love thicker bodies of any body type, there are also dudes who often make one's size the focal point of the person's overall identity. Especially with those who identify as Chasers, whose bodies are smaller or fitter than the Cubs or Chubs they chase. Makes room for a lot of questions about Self-Worth and Self-esteem, while trying to uphold a sensible spirit of discernment. But I'm sleepy.
