C'MON TO THE THEATER!
I love these guys so much. forget NRC, I want to attend their terrible disaster school for disaster children that might actually be plastered on top of the smoking remains of an actively sinking ship. I may or may not actually learn anything, but I will have the time of my life.

made gf sourdough today and i didn’t have very high hopes (it was just the recipe on the flour bag that called for the starter to be made just the day before) but it turned out actually pretty good!!!

Which OCs that are not yours do you most admire? What is it about that character that you find impressive or engaging?
This question is difficult. There's a lot of OCs I really enjoy, and I am terrified of forgetting some of them, so I won't name anyone specifically ... except for @petitfarron because that can't possibly be a surprise to anyone. I love RPing with him, and have had a lot of fun watching him get more confident in what makes Farron tick as time goes by.
In a general sense, what will leave me feeling impressed is when it's clear someone's put a lot of thought into their OC, even if their OC would not normally be my thing. I tend to value internal consistency when it comes to a character, so even though I am very much a 'gently bend the canon, if it must be bent at all' person myself, if the character that's shattered canon is still consistent within that person's version of the setting, I might not be super into it from a taste standpoint, but I will absolutely admire the work put into it, and be glad they're doing something that brings them such obvious joy.
Thank you for the ask!

I’m starting a rumor that Clint originally gave Coulson a chance as his handler because he was the first senior officer he got assigned to who was also queer. Clint wasn’t being recalcitrant when he was acting like a rebellious little shit for all his other handlers, he was being heterophobic.
#jokes on Clint though because he wouldn’t have fallen in love with any of his straight handlers#.txt#in this scenario in my mind Coulson is gay and Clint has been a freewheeling bisexual since before he realized that#not all people were attracted to other kinds of people than the opposite sex#he had no awareness of homophobia bc nobody took the time to teach it to him :(#the group home was like one of those mythical boarding schools where puppy piles were a regular thing#At first his behavior strikes Phil as macho posturing and so Phil puts his sexuality front and center ('Barton most people#don’t care enough to know this and I don’t tend to advertise it but I’m gay. Tell me now if that’s going to be a problem for you.’)#thinking that it will get Clint off his hands and stop Phil from having to deal with his misbehavior#jokes on Phil though because Clint just gets excited and doubles down. ('Hey! another queer person in this stodgy gvt org!')#Also in my heart of hearts I believe that SHIELD is predominantly a place for weirdos and outcasts for one reason or another so#it’s chock full of queer people. but in this scenario I like the idea of it being 50/50 paramilitary (and therefore v straitlaced and#heteronormative) and half discreet queer people with their own established in-organization subculture#obviously Phil introduces Clint to the rest of the subculture. he starts with just a few people who are okay with being outed until he’s#sure that Clint isn’t pranking him#clintcoulson#phlint#the joke is on both of them actually for thinking that homophobia in any direction could shield them from anything at all

I wonder if brain fog counts as a type of executive dysfunction bc when my brain fog gets bad every task is just a big, black hole
I'll try to do something for 5 hours straight that should take 30 minutes tops, and I still can't fucking do it

bought a different butter alternative than usual because it was marginally cheaper only for it to turn out to be bad in cakes and therefore wasting the money I spent on the other ingredients

I HATE when people review recipes before making them and give them a bad rating or worse when they leave a negative review but then say that they changed 90% of the ingredients so didn’t even make the thing they reviewed

weirdly enough hythlodaeus back then was one of the few people also who straight up told azem that their aether unnerved people. not out of malice but he thought they'd appreciate the frankness and they did. this is why they were friends despite hyth mostly hanging out with his yaoi boyfriend hades. themis said it was cool because he heard e-s saying it was cool because it was like that due to its density and purity once but in secret themis thought it was daunting and a little scary especially because he was also pretty aether dense so it was a weird progression to look at. Venat was just like lol I can't see your face ^^ and didnt use aethersight too look at them much but neither commented on nor honestly thought of it moreso than their other features. the gourdteenth themself thought it was gross and creepy and would sometimes just turn on aethersight when they were young to look at their weird light-cutout-blank-space limbs to be creeped out by themselves more
