i had to resize this image like hell to get it to go through tumblr but i really like this one so im posting it here as well. pictured are carver (left) and stolt (right) from my debut novel wip, weird kids, a suburban cult horror!

carver is a little bit special in that he's not rasmussen's boy the way that the rest are. he's somewhat exempt from their disturbing intricate rituals, but he makes up for this by being incredibly unsettling. some writing from stolt's pov under the cut. stolt and carver have a.... weird friendship, which isn't exactly helped by the fact that stolt is very much kind of in love with all of his friends in a way that's kind of unrecognisable as affection

i just finished watching the interview with dermot and first off he’s so sweet! he kept praising the entire cast, especially miranda. he was also so impressed by the fact that christian and hanako drove the firetruck and the ambulance! also, something that i didn’t know was that he and hanako play the cello. so he said that maybe he, hanako, and miranda could do something with that since he’s never been in a cast where someone else plays the cello and now there’s three people on set. oh and apparently jocelyn plays the flute!

as for the show, he says in his mind pascal and kidd don’t conflict they’re just on two different pages but that half a dozen episodes in that dynamic is already changing. so i don’t think there’s any problems with them moving forward.
