like we are on our nine billionth positivity post for cis men with beards and masculine trans men and feminine lesbians and bi people in m/f relationships and nb people who are comfortable passing as their agab etc.... do we need more? is straight people not being able to tell you're gay/trans really the biggest issue facing lgbt people right now?
there seems to be this undiminishable reservoir of care and sympathy for the very idea of having ur queerness slighted in any context. meanwhile people who never get the choice whether or not to hide it are routinely dehumanised, othered, and ignored. if the issues facing these groups do get discussed it's almost never with much concern for their feelings. invalidation and erasure may be one of the issues facing lgbt people and it deserves attention too but I really don't think you can claim at this point that it isn't getting its fair share already.
for what it's worth, even your hypothetical most flaming butch lesbian/fem gay man/androgynous nb person etc still meets people who assume they're cishet, who even actively refuse to acknowledge that they're not. the false equivalence between erasure and overt prejudice alleged exclusively by those who largely experience only the former is in fact erasing the reality of people who experience both

you should actually question yourself and your thoughts and your beliefs sometimes. it's good for you. likewise, sometimes your shame is justified and healthy. sometimes you need to change the way you think or the actions you take because of your thoughts. sometimes you will feel guilty and that is because you were in the wrong. shame and guilt are not always manipulative. self-questioning and thinking about things is not always compulsive. interrogating your thoughts is a fundamental aspect of learning new things, correcting incorrect beliefs, mitigating future harm. you are not immune to criticism because "thoughtcrime" or "moral police." some beliefs are wrong. some thoughts are harmful. your worldview is lacking if you refuse to question yourself and admit to yourself when something you've done or thought is wrong or bad or harmful.
preemptively: this post is not about intrusive thoughts or ocd. this post does not mention intrusive thoughts. this post does not mention compulsions. when it comes to ocd the best way to deal with intrusive thoughts is generally to acknowledge them and not interrogate them. this post is not about intrusive thoughts, though. the next person to use ocd to defend being shitty is getting put in the meat grinder. get out of my house

My thing is if you're friend with people who you can't rib a lil over stupid shit they say or even more importantly, address/confront ignorant to harmful rhetoric that they come out with without them guilt tripping YOU for having principles than it's not a friendship worth cultivating imo. And same goes for them if you're a person who can't handle being checked maturely. People have told me I'm pretty cold for cutting ties with people who I've know for years like its nothing but it's like idk when someone shows you who they are, they really do feel like dead weight to me lol

Who are the POVs going to be for BB Dawn of the Clans? Is it still going to be Gray Wing, Thunder Storm and Clear Sky or are there changes? Also about Gray Wing, after clarifying that he is a gib/the Clans' third gender you were initially referring to Gray Wing with "they" but lately you've gone back to using "he", is this intentional or just getting mixed up by his gender in the books like how you've called Heartstar "he" by accident before?
The POVs for BB!DOTC are probably going to remain the same! I haven't fully decided though. If I end up actually making a basic structure for Parkmew and Townmew, I may want to include some Bumble chapters so you can be in her head as she's live-translating. I think that would be SUPER fun to see and write.
Especially if I cheated a bit and just made one language very similar to English, and the other very similar to Spanish. Enough to just cat-ify some sayings and talk about how she tries to translate the nuance in certain lines. Give her like, 3 or 4 chapters in the arc for political meetings.
(I don't speak Spanish but Trout does and I can bother him VICIOUSLY for cool phrases. Also it would be amazing to watch her desperately trying to translate the furious insults at the First Battle, turning from simple translator into mediator, only for it to spiral out of control and escalate into violence)
Anyway, on the pronouns
I often mess up on the characters whose gender was swapped from canon over to the rewrite, whoops. I correct it as soon as I notice it, but I try not to spend a lot of time double checking and proofreading answered asks and such because I will get sucked down into self-corrections
(You will also notice I tend to mess up numbers/simple arithmetic, cardinal directions, and lefts and rights. Those are part of the fact I have Dyscalculia. The pronouns are because I'm Stupid)
For Heartstar I did initially conceive of her as a he/him lesbian, but then decided to just commit to full she/her because she is transfem and I figured that would make it clearer. In the Tawny post I goofed and called her the wrong pronouns because for a brief moment I was thinking of canon Tigerheartstar, but corrected it when it was pointed out.
In-universe she is a transmolly, "yaow" gender.
Gray Wing is a weirder case though. He is 100% a Gib, the Clan Culture 3rd gender, close to nonbinary for us. They/them or xe/xim would be closest for us.
But I see them so much as a "DAD" in my head, I imagine an uncle Iroh type when I rotate them. Fathergender. So I'm going with He/xe/they.
Make no mistake though, his gender is Gib.

Hate those intentionally low morale "you're not involved in a revolution, you're just posting 🙄" posts that circulate around here for real. How do you know? Why do you think whether or not people are engaging in direct action and Doing More Than "Just Posting" is any of your business anyway? Are you a fed?

my coworker was like "now she's not homophobic or anything but my daughter was telling me about how she was assigned to share a bed with this girl on her trip to europe but she's trying to get it changed to someone else because the other girl is gay and i get it i wouldn't want to either" and i was standing there the whole time looking like i do (undercut nose piercing etc) and i was like ha ha yeah wow they're making them share beds? damn that's crazy. what do you think counts as homophobia btw

Anyways, love how they keep hiring abled people as blind people like “In The Dark”
Wtf is this ableist shit.
The company said “none of the blind people acted enough like an Abled person mocking a blind person so we hired a seeing’s person :))”
My dad said blind people probably don’t know how to act as a profession. What the fuck.
Hate my dad, can’t wait to escape him ugh

op of the butch post is by a man who calls himself a lesbian here
WHAT THE HELL...thank u anon 😭 that post is actually so fucked too because its like imagine saying "if a man identifies as straight you're all like wow you have straight privilege but if he identifies as a lesbian you're all like why are you identifying as a lesbian" like....yes..........duh............ that's literally what that post says but somehow its not stupid as fuck bc ur describing a trans man ?! its also just like so you admit it? you identify with labels based on how progressive they make you seem rather than whether they describe your experience?? how else am i meant to read that.
