Watched the early premiere of the 1st divinez episode and here are my highlights:

The ending of the will+Dress D2 manga got spoiled at the start of the episode. Raika became Deluxe 2 champion.

Akina is such a boyfailure I love him.

His sister, Hikari, is just the cutest ever.

Akina's mom is dead wtf. I had a feeling that she is but damn it's now been confirmed.

Mikoto looks sophisticated at first but she's just a klutz and girlfailure.

Suo getting into trouble and Akina always getting him out lmao they're boyfriends fr.

Akina's other classmate was the real MVP.

Nao looks so cute in the work uniform aaaaaaaaaaaa!

Oh god Hikari's illness strikes again and now she's in the hospital again.

Seems like Hikari tries to be optimistic despite her illness but Akina is worried and doesnt want her to suffer.

Akina got the KS fated card and met Gab.

AKINA PROCEEDS TO FUCKING PUNCH GAB INTO OBLIVION LMAO (i would do the same)

God, the 1st cfv divinez episode was genuinely fun. It has a nice mixture of good light-hearted moments and emotional torment. It introduces the characters and their dynamics swiftly and I love the nice blend of grounded and supernatural elements.

I don't know if you've been answer this or not but do you have any fictional characters that you hate or dislike but you have to agree that they are really well written...?

Mmmm, not really? I mean... characters that usually irritate me are either framed as heroic, but they have traits unbearable to me... or characters I find badly written... so my disliked characters end up being usually characters the rest of the fandom adores or at least characters the story wants you to like :’’’)

If you are asking about... bad or horrible people, who are actually great characters, though... there are many?

Like, Cinder made me furious at the ending of RWBY volume 8, but I love her because of how well written she is.

Similarly, I think Tyrian is framed as irredeemable and creepy, but I think he is very well written and well used so far.

Mori in BSD is another example of an antagonist who is ruthless and horrible, but also incredibly human and so incredibly written.

Amelie in Death Strengthin is another example of how to make a horrible person a great character. In her case, it is great how much they have managed to keep her ambiguous and contradictive.

Finally, Silco in Arcane is a horrible person, but his relationship with Jinx, even if very unhealthy and flawed, gives him much more humanity making him complex and compelling.

And here you have my horrible people, but great characters list :P I would also add Johan, but Monster goes out of his way to make him sympathize with him... and Meruem in HXH, but again... the framing is sympathetic towards him to the point he becomes the protagonist of the Ant arc.

Ah... another example might be Light Yagami tbh... I dislike him, but I think he is well written. Not one of my favourite characters, but his writing is solid imo :)

if its ok to ask; what are the extent that voices from alters can be? Ive been suspecting myself an osdd system for a while now but struggle because i dont know if i really hear voices from other alters or not . I definitely have an idea of what my alters sound like and i have very ongoing internal dialogues but i dont know if i can immediately recongnize it not as myself or not so i feel like i could just all be making that up. Is internal voices needed for a system? Sorry if this is bothersome. Thank you either way

u lost me a little on the wordin but yea its possible to have OSDD without havin internal dialouge id start lookin for other ways ur alters might be tryin to communicate (tho i do recc workin on tryin to strengthin communication skills between u nd them) try lookin for intuitively knowin wht they might be sayin w/ the possible aid of visualizations, internal audio, sensations, emotions or urges (some have ‘made thoughts’ tht are thoughts tht feel ego alien tht can be attributed to an alter - however i dont know a lot abt these) - overall anon i reccomend workin on communication between u and your alters nd on tryin to differentiate them but i wouldnt worry too (?) much as OSDD is known to have less symptomatology regardin identity separation
