Summer is absolutely wrecking me this year. More than usual, which is particularly frustrating since my mental health had been so much better this past fall/winter/spring--though part of it is also that I am pretty wrung-out physically. I just want the season to be over :(

thinking about taking a little bit of a step back from social media for a bit for mental/physical health reasons (as in: chronic severe anxiety is causing chronic health issues and I need to remove stress Somehow). I will still post art but I’m probably gonna make an effort to engage with my dash only minimally, if at all. (that being said I have very poor discipline so if you see me suddenly reblogging stuff out of nowhere just. roll with it)

I know 'person with secret to hide spots other person with secret to hide but doesn't say anything' is like. Thee trope in superhero crossovers, but come on! Some of these guys have been doing this for decades! There's tons of heroes that have gone to pretty extreme lengths to be Completely Imperceptible in civilian life.
Don't you think it's scarier, after all is said and done, to sit there and think I didn't notice a thing? I wouldn't have ever realised? I would never have known? To know that someone you were familiar with - close with, even! - had this whole other personality and skillset and powers and experiences and life just behind the curtain, and they hid it so completely you didn't even see it was there.
'I always knew there was something off' what if you didn't. How world shaking would it be to be so utterly blindsided? To know that this person had somehow learned to so deceptive?

this whole 'war' is actually so funny bc in terms of the ccs themselves, it is fully one-sided. like the dream team's various jokes, dream saying he felt q didn't deserve the award over foolish. throughout it all, q has not once even mentioned them. the closest thing you could call a response was him retweeting his own tweet telling his fans not to bother with people who discredit his work and that he's confident in it.
like he's actually doing crazy well post-quarantine, whereas everyone else's viewerships dropped considerably. like it's just genuinely so funny to see dream and his stans be so jealous and mad that they pick a fight that they aren't gonna win or even get a reaction out of.

wait, decreased spacial awareness is a side effect for antidepressants? where did u get that info from? I'm genuinely curious, I'm on antidepressants myself and that kind of would explain a few things but I can't exactly tell if that has been more of an issue since I started my meds
i mean i'm not a medical expert and i have always been a bit clumsy so take everything i say with a huge pinch of salt and healthy skepticism but since i started taking prozac i've noticed myself being more prone to clumsiness and misjudging distances/dimensions, and when i mentioned it to my gp she said it could be a side effect caused by some of the other common side effects of my meds (dizziness, drowsiness, etc.)
