The task today was to create some interesting still life style images. I started off with the lego man but later moved onto the watch. The first watch image is a selective colour version of the original. I felt that it worked as the colours of the watch are essentially colourless anyway.

So amazing to see my book cover still smashing it. Such a weird privilege to see my work being seen around the world (albeit piggy backing on the cover of this astounding book). I was always amazed that this image was brought to use from its original theory for to be used for another piece of art that harmonised so beautifully. Scraping back the first few layers of paint is most exciting. The first paint layers are the most loose and raw, revealing most coolness when they’re scraped.
