leaving london today and the uber driver took me on the most scenic route possible that quite literally went around regents park and down baker street and that really did it for me like okay bye sherlock holmes nation.

How strong are you?

Well, I don’t hit the gym as often as I should. But last I checked, I could lift up in the 4 thousands? In pounds, at least. Thats somewhere close to uh… 1 thousand some kilos, I think. Maybe closer to 2k.

But I’m not that strong. Seriously. I should be able to lift more than that… gecko genes or whatever. So really I’m not sure. It depends on what standards you hold me to. I’ll get stronger though!

jesus fuck I can't find it. I know I made one but I cannot find it. I mentioned studying ww1 at the same time as writing the first draft of ch17 (which was gonna stay with the groundies instead of going to Sky) and I was talking about adding it to Wars' characterization and I don't know where I said it. Shit.

point is, you know how bad the Great War was? How much horror and devestation was witnessed and propagated? Soldiers followed orders because they didn't know what was going on, and they watched their friends die around them. No Man's Land hosted the scenery of some of the worst of humanity. The trenches wreaked havoc on men's psyches. People on every side lost friends, family, and hope.

And the men who returned lost a lot more. The lost generation was full of men who tried to forget what they had escaped, and never could. The term "shellshock" originated from the trenches. PTSD followed the men home. Many tried to drink away their problems.

And many lost faith. Faith in their governments, in their fellow man, and in their God. After all they had seen, how could God be real? Because if God was real, how could he allow all of that to happen? How could he abandon his creations?

Point is, I think that Warriors, as a captain on the front lines during the War of Eras (a conflict on a never-before-seen scale), could have a very interesting relationship with both his own faith and the object of it.

This will be important.

#happy 2025 #art summary #artists on tumblr #two of these are commisions and two are from artfight #I could not manage drawing alongside work and everything else that went awry this year qwq #yeah I made the scylla part three months ago and only manage to post anything about it now I #am so bad at this #I usually don't do new years resolutions but for this one I genuinely want to get better at promoting myself #especially since I'm out of work again #laid off like a true animator/gamer....#oh and that october mizi one is just an unfinished sketch I guess january akane having a bad time is also unfinished #never could manage to get it anywhere despite wanting to on account of the hair coming out reeeeally nice #I'm extremely proud of all my bigger pieces this year though #june and july ones hehe juri june and july #I never answered anyone on artfight and I feel so bad about it :'( participating on that was like #one of the last things I remember doing before time started passing normally again this year or well feeling better at least #and well as bad as it ended my time working was really great only routine that stuck around the whole year #and going out with my then coworkers felt really fancy and fun #I was able to save up a lot and want to use that to focus on personal projects this next year #......which is partly the reason I Need to study and practice getting better at promoing

i hate feeling ambitionless aimless the future is so bleak

#this is about me not the events #i really don't think i have a plan lol and i ever will...#because all through school i had this thing. need to pass this unit test this half yearly this 2nd unit test final exams need to do this #cocurricular activity and the absolute relief when i flipped the report to see i was promoted every year. that was the aim right #now i don't know what's happening #a set set of friends i met everyday sat next to permanent place in the field where we had lunch. like?#it was all so permanent #i knew teachers did not like me or how people there felt about me #and i think a lot of it comes from the fact that i never changed schools #14 years in the same place then one random tuesday it ends everything ends and im supposed to start from scratch #losing friends was all my fault but goddddddf. i used to be good at things #like when i was in 10th grade i gave my everything to studying maths because mom threatened me that if do not get science here we'll change #your school #to wherever you get science #so i studied like crazy did not touch my phone for months and got science #like that is my level of attachment to that place #i just miss it so much probably more than my own home #and i can't belong anywhere because i'm so stuck and nothings good enough and i miss being good and being academically productive #it was my only win i think #this is so sad but i don't think i'll ever get that past work ethic back and it will never be good enough for me to feel good about myself #which can only be through study or work because im a loser who thinks she's worthless if not for a successful career #and I've felt this way for three years now. it is going to be permanent #everything is lonely

Like jesus christ nothing compares, I'm so ensorcelled by the extent to which wangxian 1. think the other is interesting and fun 2. want each other 3. the TENSION of that

#and i could talk ab how it's bc studying in the capital is a bit of a status symbol bc the diploma from this university is #worth so much more than from anywhere else in the country and i could talk ab how it's bc this #college specifically has soooo many majors that are so useless career-wise you would only take them if you had a real #good safety net but i won't. i won't.#instead i'll simply say it's easy to buy clothes and make-up to look the part than it is to do the work to embody it
