🌠 2 videos with Misa せんせい and it’s like several chapters of my textbooks combined! The video about い/な adjectives really helped me be able to produce sentences on my own. It was explained in Japanese from Zero really well, I just couldn’t get the info to stick for some reason (maybe because I had a cold then 😅). The video was 10 minutes and was super helpful. Yay for Misa Sensei!!! Thanks to those who mentioned her videos in their stories~ 💖💫 (2 posts in a row?! Let’s hope this week continues to be productive🙌🙌🙌

🌸•Day 3 of #springintospring2020 : What is your strategy?•🌸 🍓I'm assuming this means method of study? It depends on the language, but generally I like to use textbooks as a guide for what to study and making incremental progress. Without structure I go all over the place! They're not the only thing I study, but I use them as a base. I pretend like I'm at school and I try to figure out what the main points of the lesson are or what it's trying to teach me. Funny, that never worked for math class 🤨. 🍓For example: today I read lesson 8 in this Chinese book. The main points I try to cover in this particular book are dialogue, grammar, and the practice problems. I do make note of new vocabulary or words I want to remember on the sticky notes. My focus in studying Mandarin at the moment is learning how to speak naturally, so I do skip certain parts of the chapter if they don't fit what I'm trying to accomplish. With Japanese and Korean, I take more vocabulary notes. 🍓This book is completely in Korean, so I study the HSK book more in depth for grammar and vocabulary because it's in English. 💫今天我开心♡~ 🤷‍♀️今天我第一次学生不会来了， 所以我有一点学中文的时间~♡ 📚 most of my chinese resources are on this old ipad so I’m trying to get used to touching a screen instead of a book… we shall see how that goes 😆 💪✏ reviewing with this chapter, mostly about using 每 and 多. I really like this book! It’s called HSK standard course. The lessons are light and to the point. 💭 I’m not sure what other good chinese textbook resources are out there, since I mostly learned from class or pimsleur (which I highly HIGHLY recommend) or too many Taiwan dramas 😂. What Chinese resources do you use?

💫 今日の勉強: Started chapter 2 in Genki! Reviewed the grammar points and dialogue, And I learned what ~ね and ~よ do in a sentence so that makes me happy ☺. These chapters feel really long! so I’m breaking it up and will do the practice sections later. I’m hoping to finish the first Genki book within the first quarter of 2020, which should be very feasible! Just giving myself permission to take it slow during the cold season 🍪☕~ 😆 even though it looks crazy I do use all my stationery for different things, like sticky notes for tabs or colored pens to differentiate parts of a sentence etc. And they just end up everywhere on my desk by the end 🤷‍♀️💗 teehee! Guess my genki color pallette is orange and pink

🍁안녕하세요 여로분~ 평소 금요일에 일을 없어서 오늘 늦게 일어났고 유튜브에 언어를 배우는 분들 보고 한국어를 열심히 배우고 있어요. 남편 감기를 가지고 몇 밤 동안 잠을 못 잤어요 ㅜㅜ 우린 진짜 피곤해요 ;; . Slept in, watched some language learners on youtube do their thing, and got to studying my Korean Grammar In Use book. I bought this book before I moved to Korea and used it as a reference book, but now I am going to work through it like a textbook and see if my Korean improves~ I really love how it explains grammar, the differences between similar things, how NOT to use a grammar point, etc. It is truly a staple for learning Korean. ☆ Highly recommend the beginner book too, even if you use another resource for grammar. Personally, I used KGIU beginner, ttmik, and integrated korean beginner 1 + 2 when I got serious about studying Korean a few years ago. And as you can see, my notes are not beautiful! 🤪 I’m doing my best ~. 📖 QOTD: What changes have improved your study habits?
