It's almost like some sort of cruel trick on Kadija when Ludinus enters her office. The nightmare always haunting her, but never physically until she watches the Elvish man stand in front of her, demanding knowledge she swears she gave.

And still. That soft little tether, green as someone's eyes, going towards her, and suddenly, she is gone. Robbed of whatever fight she had.

And she sits. Hands perfectly clasped on her desk, a soft smile on her face, and a terrified tear running down the side of her face.

"Is there anything he didn't take?" The woman who looks like Liliana. She looks so much like her.

"What?" Kadija blinks. She can't... remember.

She watches as the purple-haired woman tucks something into her pocket. Blinks again.

"Thanks."

And then there's... More people. Is that a little robot? That talks? Fascinating.

A man leans down to her, soft. Oddly soft, as he seems to be made of rocks somehow.

"Hey, hi there."

"Hi."

"So what's your name, by the way?"

"I'm Kadija."

"Kadija."

"Yeah."

"How old are you?" Numbers swirl in her head. "It's okay if you don't. Just—it's been a rough day, trust me. If it's too hard, it's okay."

The numbers keep swirling around. Too many of them.

"My head hurts."

"Oh, yeah. Whatcha been thinking about?"

"I had—a—I had pages."

"Yeah, you did. That's right." The swirly numbers are joined by too many words. "It's okay. Do you need anything? Do you want anything right now?"

"I could have some water."

The motley group keeps talking on and on, until the rock man turns back to her.

"Do you know who Kai is?"

Ebenold.

"Yeah."

"Would you like to go see Kai? Would that make you happy?"

"Okay."

The man backs up again, and their chatter fills the office once more.

"Oh, my dear." Another woman appears. Red with horns atop her head. Another gentle one. She brings Kadija up and over into a different chair, helping her clutch the water.

"Come on, dear. Sit over here for a second and drink your water."

And after, the group of people who were so kind to her, disappear into some sort of reality-blending tunnel thing. Fascinating.

"Alright, dear. Let's go see Ebenold. And get your mind back."

I said this last time the Green Seekers were around, but I STILL think it'd be funny as hell if they also show up in Yios. This latest appearance actually makes it even funnier.

I still want them to be there because they are taking a break from investigating and Gus is visiting his mom or something. I want Gus to coincidentally be an alumnus of the Aydinlan Seminary and for this fact to be completely unhelpful to Bells Hells. I want them to refuse to do anything useful because they're on vacation.

Am I the only one who thinks that with the vague senses and feelings in the vision Liliana shared with Imogen that it's a shared hivemind thought put together by Ludinus and Otohan, or something?

It just seems like the woman who told Imogen to run far away and the one who's drunk the Kool-Aid have two different vibes and it smells awfully like mind magic.

One thing about Ashton that really appeals to me is how as irritable as they are they're also really earnest when they commit to something.

Like describing all these different fruits to the Bormodo guard he takes a moment, thinks about it, and describes at length (giving Matt a prime opportunity to switch scenes).

And Ashton just gives off the impression that they want to be as helpful as possible here, and not just because this ensures the guard keeps talking to him.

‘These guys are approving logging without any idea whether that logging would damage a key habitat or a species!’

This is the reason environmental activists quote when asked why they’re winning court cases against public authorities permitting logging in Natura 2000 sites in Romania. Yet, despite EU infringements and complaints, saws are louder than birds in protected forests. In a pre-European Parliamentary election year, are current facts sufficient for the EU to take Romania to the European Court of Justice?

Just days ago, a European Parliament Petition (PETI) delegation visited Romania following an illegal logging complaint, as well as a list of other habitat destruction complaints that have forest destruction as common denominator. Delegates chose a press-proofed route to witness that “everything was well and under control” in Romania’s forests, as Environment Minister Barna Tánczos would tell them in his welcoming speech.

Stopped from witnessing what PETI does, we accompanied rebel MEPs and environmental activists to allegedly protected sites to observe “unfolding crime” and reveal a catalogue of forest management irregularities.

EU’s infringements database is, in fact, chokablok with environmental charges against Romania, like pus leaking from a wound that won’t heal.

So for some reason, there were Doraemon stamps on Sumally and one was seemingly out of place. It was a dark periwinkle heart with a sky blue candy inside.
