- More League of Jay members in the wild! Like they set up that jay has this weird group/cult? that just NEVER GETS ELABORATED ON

- People recognizing Jay in his SSR Jay getup

After Prime Empire:

- You know how Ninjago has billboards and screens and stuff? Let Superstar Rockin’ Jay be on some in the BG

- a SSR Jay toy or something like remember the whole thing in season 6 where Kai was obsessed with his own merch. Let Jay have SSR Jay merch

- maybe old SSR Jay concert footage on like TBs or on someone’s phone

- LET HIM DRESS UP AS SSR JAY. Even if it’s just the outfit, no body paint or wig or anything even if it’s just the OUTFIT

Time for some Jay Headcanons y’all

Also Polyninja is a thing

Very frequent video game player

Loves cuddling with his friends and boyfriends

Second shortest of them at 5’6”

Creates static electricity when he’s excited or nervous, so his hair is almost always constantly a mess when he gets done with a mission or gets back from a date

This also makes him shock people if he gets jump-scared, making horror movie nights with him not the best

Constantly doing repairs on or upgrading Zane or their appliances (he almost blew up their oven once, and now he is not allowed to touch any of the kitchen appliances besides the microwave)

Horrible sleeper. He easily looses track of time and can stay up for entire nights in his workshop modifying and building things, and he doesn’t know he’s tired until the sun rises or when someone drags him to bed.

He taught Lloyd every pranking trick in the book and now he helps him regularly torture the others to get back at them for their teasing

Lightning scars (we all know this headcanon)

He’s actually very self-conscious about his body because of his scars and really only wears tink tops and t shirts around the other ninja because he trusts them.

He naturally smells like copper (because of his lightning) with hints of cologne (he tried it once for a date and hasn’t gotten the smell off since) and the slightest bit of blueberries (he’s obsessed with blueberry yogurt)

He needs to be constantly reminded by the others to shower after spending hours in the workshop or training covered in grease and sweat.

He loves techno pop, electro and k pop. Any rave-type songs. And also video game soundtracks.

He loves anything sour. Lemon-flavored stuff, warheads, sour patch kids, anything blue-raspberry flavored.

He is absolutely obsessed with slurpees (blue raspberry, as said)

He’s also a big fan of AJR

He cosplays as Superstar Rockin’ Jay

He’ll be the type to enter those “who looks mostly like” contests for him at cons and never gets to top 3. (He got 4th once though)

Unlike Lloyd, he never gets tired of blue. He loves blue. He’ll always manage to wear blue whenever they go out somewhere besides missions. But he also occasionally wears yellow, grey/silver and indigo.

My dude used to secretly rock platform boots until the other ninja found out only to boost his self confidence

He and Kai are competitive in almost any video game they play, most infamously dance dance revolution.

Seriously the others get popcorn and record it all and everything and instead of training they’ll just go at it for hours.

If you’re a villain/criminal and you severely hurt even one of his friends or his boyfriends then I hope you can withstand the power of 1.3 million volts coursing though your body.

Loves to rollar skate

So you know master builders right? (I’m not sure if they’re supposed to be canonically those but if so fuck that) Jay is one of those, but feral. He’ll just start running around and building shit with no explanation whatsoever. One time he and the other 4 were in a car and while in the passenger seat he made them fly, and now someone has to sit in the back with him at all costs.

He also is very bad at explaining and describing things. He’s a very visual learner. If you want him to tell you how to build something, good luck with that. But give him a few pieces of scrap metal and he could show you how to make something that can kill God.

He also makes up names for parts like his dad and often times when he asks for one of those things everyone gets confused. It’s like when speakers of two languages are trying to translate and remember things from one language to the other.

After his time of being a TV host (did I say TV host, no we don’t talk about that) Jay surprisingly knows how to do makeup really well and subconsciously carries concealer and eyeliner on his everywhere. One day they’re traveling to some public event and Nya forgets that she didn’t cover this one scar she has on her cheek, and Jay just whips out the concealer and boom four seconds flat flawless skin. Everyone is shocked. Nya is grateful.

He also likes to paint his nails when he isn’t in his workshop and can do them really well. He especially likes mixing them to get specific colors.

He doesn’t like wearing matching socks at all. They HAVE to be different patterns.

The definition of a bi disaster. Someone help him.

He loves wearing fuzzy socks and dragging his feet to shock people. He’s had the ninja run away from him before (except Zane. For Zane, it’s just an energy boost, like charging a battery).

All the ninja will just be sitting regularly on the couch and then Jay is upside down.

I have 10 Au's so far so here they are with a bit of info in no particular order

1. kidnapped kai au

ok so in this au kai unlocks his elemental powers before he met Wu causing garmadon to take an interest in him and so kai was the one who was kidnapped instead of nya and nya has to get kai back -she also joins the ninja team from the start and is told about her parents and their powers

I have fanfictuon out about this -just search the kidnapped kai au tag but im taking a break from updating so that I can plan it out more and have an outline

2. is my bnha crossover au

so this morro, garmadon and harumi get reincarnated into the bnha verse

morro becomes the adopted older brother of the main character midoriya

harumi becomes the twin of this crazy rich inventory girl

and garmadon becomes a theripist

they all basically help the main character achieve his end goal of becoming the no.1 hero without a superpower -idk if you watch bnha but basically 80% of the people there have a power called a quirk and the main character is a part of the 20% that don't)

Im also making an outline for this one so I might write it out sometime next Yearo making an outline for this one so I might write it out sometime next Year

3. hybrid smith siblings au

basically ray is a demon and maya is an angel they fell in love and were kicked out of their homes and hurled to earth -they use magic to keep their appearance hidden and nonbody knows

-until kai starts growing wings and horns

-nya grows them too but it starts at a certain age so at the start the focus is mostly on kai

I don't have much for this au besides its polyninja lol

I just think that jay would help with sensory overloads since Kai's senses inhance and also his wings are very sensitive

and zane would help kai with feeling different

and Cole is just the rock that knows what to say to ground him

thats literally all I have for this au

4. polyninja fam au

ok so in this au the ninja -who are all dating- get tired of saving ninja go and quit and run away -taking lloyd with them and adopting him ofc

-they also steal some yesterday's tea and turn lloyd back Into a kid so he can have the life head supposed to

-so first they live in the old lighthouse zanes dad was trapped in since its self sustaining -which is where they find echo who they also adopt

then slowly they each get jobs

-cole becomes a comic book artist/author

-kai and lloyd make video games (they also have cole make comics for said video games

-zane becomes a chef (who donates half his profits to orphanages)

-and jay works for cyrus borg

we also have polyponytail:

-nya and pixal help skylor out at the noodle shop

-they mostly help by making invitations to help with everything

-but if it's real busy they help in the restaurant

dareth and ronin are also dating and pretty much lloyd and echos uncles

-ronin uses them as a distraction to steal stuff though

-dareth is good at making up weird games

-they are good babysitters

-sorta

also brad and gene become good friends with lloyd and echo

5. highschool au -this is also polyninja-

years later Ed and edna find him and repair him

since his parents are inventors he basically adds a bunch of things to himself -like retractable wings and stuff

Zane and him feel a weird connection but neither of them remember their creator until tick-tock -this is all I have for this au

7. paranormal YouTubers au

this is an au im making for @/wojira and if u want more details u should probably ask her -I'll also tag u in the og post about this au if you ask

basically the ninja are collage sstudents who started a YouTube channel where they invest haunted places as a joke but they become super popular -again more details in the original post if you ask-

8. manipulative morro au

me and @/thebluelittlewitch2-thesequel made this but @/superstar-rockin-abs and @/grembeak gave hs the idea i think

basically lloyd didn't get hit by tomorrows tea so instead of possessing lloyd morro manipulates him into doing things for him by saying that lloyd gone crazy and the only way for 'the voicemail' -aka morro- to go away is for him to do certain things

harumi later teams up with morro for a second try on revenge andalso becomes more of a mother figure to lloyd then a lover -lloyd is a bit younger then her in this au

she uses her powers to start an orphanage but really its a place for her to train and raise a cult of parentless children that they are orphans because of lloyd and that if they follow her they can all have revenge

her code name is changed respectively to 'mother lullaby' and morro's is 'toxic wind'

9. evil ed and edna au

basically Ed and edna are evil assasins/ inventors who become obsessed with making the ultimate weapon

they basically turn jay into a hydra experiment -training him and experimenting on him over and over and over-

but eventually they decide that he is a failed experiment and abandon him -at this point he looks far from human

but kai and nya find him and take him in -he is a year older then nya so nya is ten hes eleven and kai is 13-

at first jay thinks he was kiddnaped but there is no way these kids could have so then he thinks that him being there is another test and he has to figure out what it is but eventually he figures out he was abandoned

he helps the smith siblings by inviting things that help them around the house -and also making toys for nya and kai-

they become a small family
