The reason SVSSS Shen Jiu's fate disturbs me is coz he is GONE. Just gone and people did notice the difference and just... DIDN'T CARE?? He was so easily replaceable. Except for YQY but still even he didn't really try to find out what actually happened for such a drastic change coz tbh he is drowning in his own guilt for so long. He thinks SQQ forgetting him and "changing" is good. But like... IT'S SO--SO FUCKING DREADFUL. Tomorrow, if someone better replaces me and I die and like...no one would notice. That's a horror story. Shen Jiu disappeared. And it was like he didn't matter in the end.

People disrespect su xiyan’s name way too much.

Now I am not one to pick fights but CONE ON every time I read about her she a bitch and getting in the way of ships OR weirdly sexual and jealous Or just abrasive. Only a hand full of times have I seen her be strong and intelligent without being overshadowed by TLJ a MAN and nothing against him cause (I love him) the two complement each other so well and I love their dynamic and not that you can’t separately ship the two with other characters but when they’re written together or separately SXY is always in someway and aggressor and I think that’s incorrect because we can see when the two interact there is playful banter, and a sprinkle of sass and I think that’s lovely to see. The two are also my favourite straight couple.

And In the book, she was clearly a righteous cultivator, but she still fell in love with the demon resulting in her demise, but before that she had so much love, and her last living act, was as a mother to save her child, one of the man she loved. and that’s why I hate it when people write her as a spiteful bitch because she was exactly the opposite. 

I also hate their love story with TLJ wasn’t told through one of their perspectives (not that I have any problem with ZZL doing it) she was one of the most in my opinion important female character in the story and I think, knowing her thoughts as she went through the motions of losing her husband and her life as well as Falling by the hands of someone who emotionally manipulated her would add more brutality to the story of PIDW and svsss along with SJ’s pov.

In conclusion, I think it is truly a shamed that such a strong, female character is boiled down to a jealous bitch in so much fanfiction and it’s also upsetting that this happens to so many other female characters.

Might have been a fic I read, might just be a dream I had. No clue, genuinely can’t remember! But!! I can’t shake the headcanon of Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan being the same person. As in, SVSSS is actually a reincarnation story and the System just awakened Shen Yuan’s memory when Shen Jiu had a qi deviation.

SJ should get a system not because I want him to experience more horrors but because I think out of him, SY and SQH, he would be the one to find the most ridiculous ass loop holes and the system would just give up on him or he just straight up destroys it and I think he deserves to defeat a weird sentient block of text that could destroy the entire world if it wanted to
