Angelo’s old name is was Angela, but he’s nicknamed Angel

When Angelo was a Cupid, he was a girl, a perfect, kind, rule follower, and goody two shoes Cupid. And even then people hated him for being too perfect and would often talk behind his back (he knows, he just pretends to not know and ignore it

He also used to have a boyfriend, boyfriend who shows him the world of earth, and so this is how Angelo discovers his identity. One of the things of how he adventures through his identity is wearing male clothing, it gives him gender euphoria yet he doesn’t really like male clothing that much. (I’ll explain later)

Another is him observing the people, like Fang who looks guy and girl and even neither but is a guy, Otis is a buy looks about neither, Gray masculine but has a feminine body which is also an intro to trans, Lola is feminine and looks like a girl used to be a guy

Another is drag races or lgbtq+ topics but only like a few

(The I’ll explain later) Angelo: screams in feminine but feeling like a guy

After Angelo comes out the other cupids and angels rejects him, they became more mean and is happy that they have validation to their hatred for him. Angelo fights back with their stupid opinion and wants help from his boyfriend

That boyfriends now an ex

And so Angelo fell down to the swamp of love, and met Willow, who surprisingly helped him. Angelo didn’t trust Willow at first and didn’t like her antics or the things she does. Willow makes him worse but Angelo became happier, Angelo trust her more and then they became besties.

Willow tries to rode and air balloon to meet Angelos ex to try to “talk” to him.

Angelo’s skirt is just a dirty swampy ver of his angelic robe and Willow helped him with clothing. Angelo loved the clothing and then he and Willow became fashionista duo. (I also HC that Willow makes clothes but more from scraps rather than from scratch as seen by her clothing)

Angelo learns more lgbtq+ and drag from Willows shows and other stuff she has.

Angelo when taking surgery, Willow helped Angelo by controlling the surgeon with her tadpoles and then Angelo got his transition and Willow happy that she got money saved (and her bestie being happy but she won’t admit that

When Lawrie’s name was Lori, Larry would nicknamed him Lawrie because Lori and Laws. Lawrie would pretend he hates the nickname so that his brother can call him Lawrie more. It works Lawrie would act frustrated and Larry would act like an annoying brother not knowing he’s creating his brothers gender euphoria.

Considering that he’s a cop there should be some injuries and one of them is his voice box. (Umm yes he has no neck… I guess they have it in their head???) and so when his voice box is broken it sounds like Lawrie’s current voice but more distorted and screechy. He would pretend to dislike it but really he loves it and so whenever the engineers (Pam and Jessie) would fix it Lawrie would try to delay it as much as possible, by pretending that there has to be bad guys somewhere and they try to look for it.

Lawrie was worried what his brother would think if he told him he’s trans, he’s worried since there’s law about it and even then would he reject and abandoned him.

Thing is Larry was uneducated about it other than one goes from Girl to boy and boy to girl and there’s laws about it so Lawrie takes Larry to a deep dive about transgenders, the same way how Lawrie figures out that he’s trans, the stories, the feelings, the internet, and his experiences. Larry accepts him but he still a bit confused but accepts him regardless.

Lawrie got a remodel body and loved it even if it takes a month and is expensive.

Angelo: Are you trans?

Lawrie: *screams in trans*

And so when Lawrie and Angelo discovers they’re both trans they talked to each others experiences

Angelo expected that Lawrie’s transition must be easier, well he’s right the transmissions? (Idk if I used the right word) putting his head and info to another body is easy what’s not easy is that it’s even more expensive than surgery and even then the model takes a long time to built so he has to wait. Even then Angelo calls him lucky because people are def less likely to see that he’s trans and so people aren’t like hateful and stuff.

Lawrie was surprised that Angelo still loves himself and is happy even when other people hated him. Angelo tells Lawrie that even if your likable people will still hate you regardless even if there’s no reason and if that’s the case then he’s not gonna be nice and stuff, plus he’s got other people to love and care about. Lawrie understands his advice but he still feels vulnerable about his trans identity and the laws/government.

Angelos and Lawries convo is fine until they get through the acceptance part. Angelo was glad but still jealous that Lawrie gets accepted. Angelo became a bit more condescending and plays pranks on him for a few months before his rage calms down.

Btw the stupidest reason of how I HC Lawrie as trans is because some people draw Lawrie’s chest bigger than Larry and then I was like “hmmm trans” idk what’s my thought process is or even doing through other than “hmmm trans”

I love your blog, it's such a brilliant advertisement for Finland (even if it's unintentional, which it probably is, haha). Perfect mix of memes and sheer beauty that Finnish land has to offer. I've never been abroad, but I will make Finland my first destination once I have the finances and the time, I'm sold!

If you don't mind sharing, what are your favorite Finnish traditions (or even smaller cultural quirks)? I've snooped around a bit, but no online article beats the word of a true Finn here :D

One of my favourite Finnish traditions is sauna. It's so relaxing. I love the feeling of warm air coming down from the ceiling after you throw water onto the stove. And I like the folklore related to sauna: how sauna has a guardian spirit (henki, though people more commonly talk about tonttu these days) whom you should respect or it could burn down the sauna or skin you in vengence. I also like the idea of sauna being an equal place. Titles and hierarchy do not exist in sauna.

I also love the Midsummer bonfires. There's something magical about watching one burn by the water late in the evening while the sun is still up, but the air and water are calm like at night. That is if the weather is good, anyway. ^^; It's 50-50 whether it rains or not on Midsummer's Eve.

Oh and especially as a child I liked Easter, because children dress up as Easter witches and wish good health to people with decorated willow branches in exchange for chocolate eggs. But these witches are colourful. Colourful skirts and scarves, no black pointy hats (traditionally, but modern parents more and more dress their kids as Halloween witches...I do not approve), and they carry a copper coffee pot. Boys can dress up as witches, too, though for some reason these days this is getting rare and you see a lot of boys dressed up as black cats or bunnies. This part is not done everywhere in Finland, but on the Eve of Easter, kids sleep with their hats on the bed, and during the night the Easter Rooster (traditionally we have a rooster, not a bunny, but the bunny is taking over) will leave some chocolate eggs there.

And as a kid I liked May Day, too, because kids especially dress up in fancy dresses, there's balloons and streamers, and munkki (type of doughnut with cardamom) and sima. It's just one big party.

I'm interested in learning more about old Finnish traditions like kekri and being part of reviving them. :)

As for a cultural quirk... Hmm. Well, we have a lot of weird and funny sports like wife carrying, air guitar playing, mobile/rubber boot throwing, swamp football, and hobby horse racing. :D And I guess our tax records being public and a source of many tabloid headlines is pretty weird, too. And we are notoriously quiet. For us, respecting the personal space and time of other people is important and a sign of respect. So we don't usually chat with random strangers without a reason. But worry not! If you need help, your average Finn will make it their personal mission to help you if you just ask for help.

Unfortunately, the last time I was in Vaasa I was probably less than ten years old, so I can't say anything about it. :/ Followers, please help!

But personally, I'm always advocating for the beauty of Eastern Finland. ;) Anywhere on Lake Saimaa is amazing.

- Joel and Jimmy were childhood friends. something about a carriage or a hot air balloon having to stop in the swamp for maintenance reasons and Joel wandering off because he’s a little boy - he meets this tiny cod kid and they become instant best friends - Jimmy learns what it means to be a prince and he decides he wants to build his own empire, and Joel’s here to help every step of the way

- so they have a history!! they knew what the other was like when they were younger, so when regression happens it’s easy to fall back into familiar patterns

- they’re both flips and take turns taking care of the other

- I really really like nonhuman jimmy, so to me he’s this 12 foot tall fish man with this super long tail- think the sea monsters from Luca but more cod colored, taller, and don’t turn human when they’re out of the water

- Joel is. Human. (Probably). and maybe like 5’3-5’8? up for debate on whether or not he’s made of terracotta. some days he genuinely cannot tell.

- their height difference calls for some very interesting times when jimmy is feeling small skskdjf (lots of carrying Joel around like an oversized doll)

- little joel likes to paint everything in sight and little jimmy likes to play in the mud and look for snails so they’re both very messy littles. Joel hates baths. Jimmy does not.

- jimmy stims by wagging his tail and flapping his hands, Joel stims by rubbing his hands/fingers on stuff, usually bits of his clothes, but sometimes Jimmy’s scales cause they feel cool

- lizzie is their backup person, they’ll call her if both of them go small. If all three go small then they call Pix.

Facts and bits of lore on Retake Trickster!

They're both based on the usual ancient entities like Hades and Kitsunes and a spanish urban legend called La Llorona, in terms of appearance. Also Hog and Scorched, EXEs that have this split personality trope, seen in... Well, the split personality! And also that one time Boiling Potato made that forest deities version of Trickster where she's like... A siren, in a swamp, seen that and went "lmao dead body in a swamp... WAIT I CAN WORK WITH THIS"

Trixie is strictly a pacifist, absolutely no murder allowed in her vicinity, she's literally afraid of the concept and wants nothing to do with it. She will fight but never kill. Enjoy the angst food~

Trickster (the ghost) is selfish, a very egocentric bitch, narcissistic (she doesn't have this disorder, she's like that), overall not the best person in the world. What playing around with god-like magic for years does to a person, amirite? Fucks you up

Trixie, although she seems like a very shy girl... Actually isn't all that much! She's friendly and all, very caring, sorta the mom friend at this point lmao, and also a bit of a gremlin at times. In light of this, Trickster is canonically pansexual in the retake! She thought she was straight (she died in ye olden japanese days) but there were a few women here and there that really wanted her. Because of this, she convinced the entire japanese area to mind their business because hey who are you to question a god*? Fuck off let her seduce women she can pop your lungs like balloons lmfao

Also this Trickster can take compliments, she's not shy lmao she's the one that lured in guys and gals like metal to a magnet

Their fusion (which i'm nicknaming The Deceiver) is only ever unstable when the two of them are crammed up in the same body, causing them to enter a very feral and angry state

In light of this... I'll just explain via what Trixie thinks of this "fusion" process~ ——— what she feels is a fusion, her soul colliding with mine, but what i feel? grateful dead-pelletier farm, st. helens, OR., august 23, 1969.

this fabulous soundboard recording captures the dead a week removed from their woodstock performance, doing what they most likely intended to do in bethel. bulldog 2 was advertised as a three day affair featuring a swell line-up which included the dead, taj mahal, mixed blood, portland zoo, sabatic goat, bill feldman, and a pre-celebrity NRPS. the advertising also promoted petite mall lites, space balloons, rides, and fireworks. all this for $6 bucks in advance.

from the opening bars of hard to handle, it’s very clear that the boys have brought their A-game on this evening; the version is long, raunchy, and played with plenty of swagger. following this, we’re treated to the workingman’s portion of the show: a sweet countrified mama tried > high time combo, a fine casey jones with some funky swamp-blues guitar from mr. garcia, and a red-hot easy wind with pig’s keys taking center stage. the show really turns at the dark star which is, from the very beginning, a goddamn sonic satori. it’s a version that makes you very thankful that recordings of this band were made in such abundance. the tune covers relatively standard territory through the first seven minutes or so—a melody is established, and garcia states a few thematic ideas. the playing is flawless. next, the band—led by jerry & TC—starts to explore a few riffs that advance into a daring, intrepid jam that the ensemble kicks around and develops further in a 4/4 time signature, before dropping effortlessly into a delightfully weird metaphysical space that they mine for a lengthy exploration. in time, garcia deftly returns the unit to the main theme and the second verse. out of this, st. stephen bursts forth in full fury and rages into the 11, which is equally as charged and wonderful. in true good ol’ grateful dead fashion, the set continues with a hefty 30-minute lovelight, marshaled by pig’s bawdy rapping, TC’s peppery, calliope organ, and a ton of relentless jamming. after a few relatively coy comments from a festival stage manager, the crowd is sent home with a stirring take on we bid you goodnight.

the following day, the local papers reported that there were no problems or fallout from the festival. in a press briefing, columbia county DA, lou williams, was quoted as saying “if you call the open use of narcotics and drugs 'no problem,' then i guess there was no problem." another article noted that many of the st. helens’ merchants were delighted with the abundance of sales over the course of the event. the streets were packed, and business had never been so good. one store owner did complain though. he stated that “…if he played music like that, he'd be arrested.”
