I think one of the reasons why I love Transformers IDW so much is the sheer potential for enemies falling in love. A lot of the action takes place after the war is over, so members of different factions are thrown into situations where they have to work together. It’s the best kind of shipping fodder.

I look at all my ships, and every single one is either enemies in love, enemies to lovers, enemies to friends to lovers, or friends/lovers to enemies with massive sexual tension (or acquaintances to enemies to friends to lovers, in the case of Dratchet). I normally don’t get that much variety in my hero/villain and hero/former villain ships so it’s just...really, really, nice.

Oh my gosh I'm loving the MegStar Problem Children AU. I have the image of Deathsaurus giving Thunders his comm code, ushering a still shell-shocked Tarn towards the ship when Megatron goes into emergence with little Twirl.

Cue take off being postponed because Deathsaurus wants to be there for the baby's birth. He has no trust in his parents ability to not fuck this child's life up. He's even calling Screamer to yell at him "Why would you do this? Why would you do him again!?" Starscream's more focused on the unmasked Tarn siting next to Deathsaurus with his helm in his hands. Tarn's quiet except for the occasional muttered, "Four..."

Ratchet is respectivly the foster parent and spouse of the foster parent of two of the MegStar children and is claming responsibilityfor them being better hinged individuals. Missfire's inability to focus long enough to aim had to drive Deadlock bonkers.

Rodimus is just watching the drama with popcorn when Thuderclash wanders over and starts talking to him. Because for all of Rodimus' insecurities he is a top tier autobot and Thunders is confessing his own imposter syndrom to a mech he respects. Rodimus is having to recalculate. "Thunders, you're the perfect Autobot. Everyone says so." "Coming from from Megatron and Starscream's sparks? You've got be kidding me" "Ohh boy, i think we both need a drink for this conversation."

Missfire and Swerve are being excited together over the baby. The two of them just started vibing and Whirl of all mechs is the only one who noticed their holding hands.
