Drew my neice's Symbaroum character, Hatchling (they/them) and their pet Beast for her birthday. Hatch was raised in the wilds of the Davokar forest by a lindworm and is now questing for magical items to feed to the lindworm to enable it to grow into a true dragon~

While I don't want my own campaigns to be as silly, and my friends aren't as effortlessly funny as literal professional comedians, one inspiration I'm definitely taking from Dimension 20 is campaign length. I'm in the midst of DMing a massive, CR-style, 100+ session 5e campaign now, and while it's a blast and I may want to do it again in a few years, for the most part I think I want to shift to shorter, tighter campaigns. Not only will that let me and the others at my table play more TTRPGs and more characters over a similar length of time, it will also keep plotting tighter and reduce burnout (I hope! The latter, at least, is contingent on doing this as a hobby and not under deadline; I'm not insinuating Brennan et al. have an easy time jumping from campaign to campaign)

Цетруссі однак, пройшовши навчання, спихнула відповідальність за ведення справи на молодшу сестру, а сама "збирала вершки" — сім'я Смітів завдяки Цетруссі виграла державний тендер на захоронення безхатьків та чумних, тож Цетруссі мала змогу практикувати некромантію не переймаючись що хтось зацікавиться зникненням органів або голів у тіл.

Власне останні роки після випуску зацікавилась абомінаціями не тільки з наукової точки зору.

Мала, на думку містян, неприємний характер, адже не соромилась казати прямо якщо їй щось не подобалось, або вказувати на свої привіл��ї при конфліктах.

Хтось пронюхав про її мутки з некромантією і почав шантажувати, присилаючи листи з погрозами і вимогами грошей за її "таємницю". Це її занепокоїло, адже ставило під загрозу її ідеальне прикриття.

Одного дня , вимучена і виснажена тижнями намагань дізнатись хто ж їй погрожує , вона в задумі скоротила шлях через провулок, де її підрізав якись п'янчуга. Заточка в бік, швидке стікання кров'ю — Цетруссі мертва.

...Чи ні?

Прокинувшись бездиханною, Сміт прокралася у свою квартиру, рознесла її, розкидуючи листи з погрозами на видне місце, випатрала себе, розвісивши органи на люстрі і, взявши все необхідне, рушила до свого знайомого Вернама.

Here's the first post! This is a drawing of my character in Symbaroum, a changeling witch and her familiar - a white raven. She has a very difficult story; changelings in the world of Symbaroum face many challenges.

[Ogre]

Large creatures that stand slightly taller than a human, despite their silhouette lacking a head. Where a human has pecks, they have eyes (also mounted on their shoulders), where a human has an abdomen, these creatures have fanged maws. Their feet are trunk-like appendages from which sprouts four finger-like flanges equidistant from one another, their hands possessing three fingers and a thumb. Creatures of unparalleled hardiness and resilience, strong, regenerative, carapaced, these creatures have a long history of war and a violence. A sort of honor in death and survival.

They are responsible for the start and perpetuation of the eternal bloodwar within the thousand spears, the mountain range to the west. But not all of them fight against Humans, a select few fight against their own kind.

To Humans, their societies seem primitive, the larger stronger ones lead and living in stone holes in the mountains. Though this is technically true, they do not stop growing, so following the largest is no different than Humans following their eldest and 'wisest'. As for the 'stone holes' they are intricately carved with fine patterning that more or less requires the four eyes of an [Ogre] to fully appreciate.

[Ogre] Boons, Traits, and Burdens

[Ogres] have the Earthbound, Long-Lived, and Robust (at Novice level) traits.

[Ogres] have the Pariah, Code of Conduct, and Slow burdens.

[Ogres] have the Pack-Mule and Tough boons.

[Ogres] have the Armored, Regeneration (elemental energies), Grappling Tongue, Devour, Mystical Resistance, and Night Perception monster traits at level I. They may increase them like abilities.

[Ogres] start with an xp deficit of 75.

[Ogres], once Robust reaches the Master level, can gain the Colossal monster trait like an ability. Colossal I adds 3 feet in average height, Colossal II adds 4 feet in average height, Colossal III adds 5 feet in average height.

When Colossal increases in level, gain a level in the Sturdy and Natural Weapon (for their bite) monster traits and a stack of the Fire Forged and Poison Resilient boons (up to the maximum of 3) and gives an xp deficit of 30.

[Ogre] Shadows

[Ogre] shadows are always stone, metallic, wooden, or some variety of ivory or shell/carapace. Sometimes they are mixed into a variety of those types and often manifest scarred, chipped, scratched, or tarnished with permanent corruption.

[Ogre] Names

[Ogres] seem to lack any given names and are therefore nicknamed by people around them. These nicknames often allude to the [ogres]’ size or the taciturn calm that many mistake for stupidity. Ordo Magica speculates that such lonesome creatures actually have no use for proper names – the [ogre] knows who it and the other [ogres] it interacts with are and that is enough.

[Ogre] names: Bauta, Ugly, Angry, Odd, Gawky, Heavy, Big Brute, Roughneck, Freak, Oaf, Ox, Rageor.

BACKSTORY IS: she is a changeling that ended up in a family of human nobles, as she grows up she starts to develop more elvish features and her family casts her out, holly shit I really like playing characters with daddy issues it's so much fun. ANYWAY the real child that got interchanged with my character is another player so that's fun. They still got not clue btw. In their defense they are not the most intelligent of the group. I think the duck is smarter.

Her class is duelist and she's dumb af and her name is Yeolena which is unpronounceable to the rest of the players and the DM which are all french I'm so sorry. I really really really wanted to play a fighter because my go to are spellcasters and I'm not used to this kind of fighting, it's fun!
