I don’t remember the exact interview, but here’s the quote! I believe it was abt s5 just based on the context, but I’m not 100% sure!

Any hc of mannerisms or habits the tachibros would have in common?

I think a lot of Tachihara’s more gentle nature comes from Shunzen. I think that Shunzen probably gave him the most attention from anyone in his family, and Michi would just sit there and watch his big bro with wide eyes while he worked.

I also think they both enjoy crafting with their ability. I think Shunzen made a lot of birds and flying bugs (mostly moths and cicadas), but also the occasional plane or car for Michi to play with.

I think Tachihara makes little sculptures out of whatever is around usually- spare bullets, screws, forks, etc. but I think he also enjoys crafting flowers and little figures of his loved ones.

I doubt Tachihara would ever admit it, but I think he also occasionally curls up against the window with a cup of tea and some of Shunzen’s old poems. It was something Shunzen used to do on rainy days where he would get blankets and tea and read to Michi, and Tachihara would be members the feeling.

In terms of mannerisms, I think when they’re angry (like truly angry, not Tachihara’s grumpy mafia act), there’s a type of quiet, ice cold rage that’s far scarier than yelling.

I think they’re both passionate about their loved ones, though I think Michizō is a bit more high strung about it while Shunzen is more laid back.

Semi related: I think Shunzen would doodle in the margins of his papers and draw silly lil stick figures on notes in Michi’s lunch. He wasn’t like a great artist or anything, but they were pretty (mostly flowers and such). He also got Michi his first set of colored pencils.

After he passed, Michizō used drawing and coloring a bit as therapy. And while it initially started as grief and aggression, he learned that it also calmed him and he really enjoyed doing it.

Hence his love of pencils.

ok so i've been stalking your acc because i used to be a bsd fan YEARS ago and watched/read everything until like,,, 2018 literally shortly before the tachi reveal, and i wanna say i loveeeeeeed tachi even then and would literally hunt down content for this background steretypical mafia character everyone brushed off. i got back into bsd like last month and YOU HAVE NO IDEA how ecstatic i was when i checked tachi's wiki page (first thing i did lol) for how his story has progressed and lo and behold i found my favorite possible tropes was waiting for me... conflicted traitor character save me... save me eccentric elite military squad..... and now i am down the rabbit hole scouring for tachi and hunting dogs content in every corner

anyway all this to say i found your blog and have been stalking you since and i really love it and it's built a lot of my hcs and views on canon, thank you for your service 😙❤️

(also i noticed you say a few times that hirotsu knew about tachi? and a couple of other people said that too, is this actually confirmed in the manga or is it a popular hc?)

Hear me out. Shunzen's eye color is gold, while Michizo's is amber. Gold is more valuable than amber, hence why Michizo is treated like trash compared to his brother

Headcanon that Tachihara zones out whenever people raise their voices or sound annoyed (even if it's not directed at him) because of how it reminds him of his childhood and how his family treated him

but yes absolutely he does. I like to think that's also why he reacts so harshly whenever Hirotsu scolds him. He probably starts dissociating but then sometimes plays it back in his head later wondering what he did wrong and why he lived when his brother didn't :)

I haven't managed to write the fic for it, but I feel the need to inform you of the existence of my Sheep Tachihara AU

He left before the Port Mafia situation went down, and the first time he saw Chuuya again he was already a spy for the Hunting Dogs. (Chuuya probably thought he was dead until they met in the mafia.)

Ok, ok so yes. My friend and I have talked abt sheep Tachihara before bc it's so fun.

However my current favorite pre-canon au is that Tachihara wasn't a sheep, BUT he was one of the kids Shirase recruited when he was trying to rebuild and the reason he got caught by the government was because he was helping Shirase during stormbringer.

Either way, I wish we had more of Chuuya and Tachihara interacting because I feel like there's always such an opportunity for them to bond. Especially once Chuuya learns that Tachihara is Like him (tm).

How to Raise Your Hunting Dog

I'm going to move my fics to ao3 at some point probably (I've been meaning to) and probably just make a Tachi one shot collection. Especially bc I have more that I haven't gotten around to posting here yet. BUT. This one is posted and if u wanna see my ao3 acc when I will end up posting them, that's where it'll be.

I might make a part 2, bc there are definitely more one shots and stuff that I'm missing, but that's what I had in my bookmarks.

I've gone thru pretty much the entire Tachi tag (Sorted by new and just scrolled back to front, it was a few months long process), so there are others. There is just also a lot of junk to sort thru (I'm looking at you skk fics that have Tachihara tagged except he's either so out of character and awful that it's unbearable or he just shows up to say one line and then leave).

but yes it is. as much as he complains about her antics (and they're listed as his dislikes), he fully respects and in some ways looks up to her.

i have a certain obsession with hd tachihara's hair and idk why. its so spiky and i like spiky. A total contrast to shunzen's fluffy ass hair but i love them both either way

My dark secret is I always draw it slightly longer and spikier than it needs to be bc I like that in some frames/panels it looks like dog ears and he’s a puppy dog

I also love how fluffy baby Tachi’s hair was bc I feel like shunzen has very soft hair and they were just lil floof balls

It’s grown on me a lot recently. Fox Tachi where he curls up and sleeps in the sun. He has his fluffy tail and he hugs it when he’s homesick or can’t sleep. 🥺🥺🥺
