First crush on a fictional character:  Rufio from Hook (you know, that movie where Robin Williams plays grown up Peter Pan?). I think it was the hair...

A book that made you cry:  I mean this could be a really long list, but I’m going to go with The Wings of a Falcon by Cynthia Voigt. I’ve read it so many times, but That Thing gets me every single time.

Book that was spoiled for me:  I’ve had a whole load of spoilers for the few more recent Throne of Glass books. But I learned way way back to avoid book spoilers like the plague (thank you early HP fandom) so it’s not a problem I usually have.

First book you fell in love with:  The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. I had liked and even loved books before this one, but this was on a whole new level for me. I just wanted the entire world to read it!

First Time you couldn’t stop smiling because of a book or character:  I don’t remember what year it was exactly, but I know it was middle school, and I first read All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum and I spent most of the time laughing so hard I was crying.

First Person that really impacted your reading:  Oh, that’s easy, it’s my mom. She’s the entire reason I’m a book lover. She loves books and was always reading around me growing up, and as a baby I would mimic her reading all the time so finally she figured I might as well learn even if I was only 2. And even though we were always poor, and she couldn’t always buy me whatever cool toys everyone else had, if it was a book I wanted she always found the money to get it for me somehow.
