Aidan

1) Aidan's from a Tartosian artistic and intellectual family. His father is a philosopher and anthropologist and his mother's a painter.

2) Aidan's living on his own since the age 16. And of course, there's a long story behind it I'm not willing to tell :D But I will say that living on his own taught him a lot of things.

3) Aidan plays the guitar! As you already guessed, Arwin adores Aidan playing something for him.

4) Aidan doesn't have a sense of personal space. Nor his, neither others. So if you think he stands too close to you - then he probably does. :D

5) Aidan can't cook, but he tries his best to make a rare and exquisite Tartosian dish for Arwin. Usually it looks weird. And tastes weird. But Arwin pretends he likes it.

Arwin

1) Arwin belongs to a very wealthy family of Del Sol Valley. As the only child and the heir of De Winter's successful mining business Arwin grew up under the constant demand to be the best in everything. And as a result…

2) Arwin run away from home, right from the doorstep to his marriage. Alice and Arwin meant to each other by their families as the perfect match. Needless to say there was no place for true love between them. And btw Alice married other man shortly after Arwin's disappearance. :D

3) Arwin worked as the waiter in the railroad cafe. It was a period of his deepest depression. He was even going to end his life by taking sleeping pills.

4) Arwin also worked as the mansion manager until... the owner of this place (an elegant old lady) fell for him.

5) Arwin can't cook. At all. He'll burn the kitchen if he tries. :D

Genuine question as I am curious — I know it’s pretty obvious with his expressions/ body language that Daniel seemed shy/insecure(?) about having his braces, but has he ever outright said anything about feeling that way with them? Just out of curiosity as I am new around here!

even if you got somewhere without just your talents, well, you got there anyway. It's not like pure talent dictates where you go, so much as it is nepotism and money. Did bankers and Investors and actors get their way without any outside influence? Don't think so. Not today.

So, if you get very far and you don't feel entitled, well, good, use it! You made it that far, woohoo, milk it for all it's worth! If you've ever wanted for money and security and luxury, live it up man. You're on Tumblr. You deserve it.

OH MY GOD. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS????

1) Yunli knows Ren was Yingxing. She knows. Up until now everything pointed to this being a top secret among the Luofu's officials (Yanqing doesn't know, but Xueyi and Hanya do).... so is it not so on the Zhuming and the remaining Xianzhou ships? Did they just- let the Luofu gloss over Yingxing's actions and his fate on their own?? Is this related to him "breaking every law in the Xianzhou's legal codice" as Hanya puts it? Does that explain why Ren is the most wanted criminal in the Xianzhou Alliance as a whole???

2) Yunli immediately correcting us to call him Yingxing mainly means two things. First: her little grimace in the livestream at his mention wasn't indignance at his person, rather at the addressed name (which- aaaaaaaaaw).

Second, and more importantly: Huaiyan still calls him Yingxing, and judging by the "countless mentions", we can only conclude it's in a positive, even fond context!

...what are the odds our old man will also end up skirting around calling him Ren by all means possible?

3) "One of his most famous apprentices", when coupled with this completely unprompted mention of him here:

might hint at Yunli herself holding some personal admiration for Yingxing! I'm genuinely surprised to see her speaking of Ren in a mostly positive light though; I expected some anger at him abandoning the forge and using such a damaged sword to fight, but this is the only positive About line he's got outside of the Stellaron Hunters. I think they should meet, actually. The potential interactions and their effect on both characters can do a lot to them, and also Shard Sword needs a nice little polish and an outlet to cry out about its own pain, for once. Let the poor sword rest a little! It deserves a break as much as its master does!

...If Ren doesn't show up after all of.... *gestures vaguely at the consistent mentions and paralles with Yunli* this, I'm going to Throw Hands. Peace is not an option for Renation anymore.

jaykyle au where they're theatre kids in the same school but they're not the actors jason's the scriptwriter/director and kyle is the prop manager (i don't know the official terms sorry) and they'd probably do an amazing job on the backstage setting if they could stop arguing for 5 whole seconds about their artistic visions and ideas and how "this would obviously work better this way"
