For me personally the re-recordings are an opportunity to enjoy the songs I connect with the more unfortunate times of my life, due to being a teenager, in a fresh and new way. It’s quite nice to have the chance to listen to the same music once again with a grown attitude… Here’s to one of the most genius marketing strategies and healing the younger version of yourself.

I was very excited when I woke up and saw someone posting the cover of the 1989 Taylor‘s version, so I thought it was fake. Then I checked Taylor's ins homepage and found that it was true. 1989 Taylor's version is coming. This is an album I like very much😭 @taylorswift @taylornation

Taylor has been pretty hurt by love in the past and wronged by some immature, manipulative men. Much like Gwen she’s always had a strong voice but also just wanted to find true love and has missed until now. And Travis is also much like Blake, before getting to know him, he seems like a big goofball but when you listen to him do more in depth interviews, you realize he’s a big teddy bear with a kind, loving heart and a great sense of humor and self awareness. He praises her and puts on a pedestal just like Blake always does for Gwen, and is not intimidated by Taylor‘s accomplishments and success, which has been a problem in previous relationships she’s had. He’s mentioned several times in the last year that despite being on top of his career, he was lonely, and wanted someone to share it with. Not to mention how adorable their story is of how they got together because he made a friendship bracelet and shouted her out on his podcast. He said he never expected her to reach out or even hear what he said, but she did and the rest is history. They seem pretty destined for each other and pretty dang, adorable and deeply supportive and in love with each other. I see a lot of similarities between them and Blake and Gwen, just a younger version and without kids. 

I see the similarities. I’m glad T n T have not been through the awfulness of GR and ML, but yeah, it hasn’t been easy for Taylor either. I’m pulling for them and love seeing Taylor this happy. And I love Jason and Kylie too. They still just don’t affect me the same and B & G. No else ever has.

Oh boy even as her fan (i used to be i guess, i started liking her during rep and then with midnights i started to not be a fan anymore) and even i didn‘t listen to all of midnights until like months after because first off all it was all too much and i do want to keep up with other artists as well that actually give proper quality like harry or hozier.

i haven‘t listened to all songs on:

red tv, speak now tv, midnights and all the deluxe, fearless tv, 1989 tv. I will say that i might listen to all of ttpd if i have the time or i will split it up over several weeks, or i will do so when even the deluxe songs come on streaming. But sorry not sorry, when ozher artists like billie or beyonce come out with an album, i listen to it all the way through cause i can‘t keep up with taylor‘s idk 100 songs in 2 years. (They also blend together for me, specially all of midnights)

The last album of hers that I enjoyed some songs on was Lover. I know everyone raves over the Folkmore albums, but the production was too minimalist for me. Same with Midnights. Agree that many of her songs sound samey. I feel that her fandom only cares about lyrics because I rarely see any discussion of instrumentation or production.
