After a very stressful day of meeting important dignitaries and public figures, you felt like settling down, reading a recipe or making something from memory to remind you of home. Maybe you have music playing in your head or maybe it’s just empty, feeling comfortable doing something you love

Maybe giving the food you make to other characters in the game, or you hand them out to random people, like kids from the house of the hearth.  Or maybe you just sit and eat it all for yourself (which, is valid, bc tbh I don’t want anyone else eating my food)

Finding it hard to sit down and write, even though you really want to. Maybe it's the environment or the people that you are with, but once you get into the zone, the world just disappears.

hmmmmmmmMMM. do you like relaxing nice games that don’t stress you out? if you do don’t play. 💀 HOWEVER, if you like the rewarding satisfaction of arriving to a new town where everyone’s a dick to you and then stalk them into submission until they all universally love you, then have at it, i reckon. 😌 i like piddling around on my farm digging up acorns and pinecorns and smashing open random containers that wash up on the cove’s shores, so the early-game grind of like, setting up the farm so that it made enough money that i could do whatever i wanted without going broke was what kept me going with my second save! also restoring the community gave me something to like, remember to focus on, so if i got bored and dropped the game i still had that to recentre me. 🥹 i treat stardew like i treat animal crossing: new horizons—something fun to wander around in and pick up random things. i’ve only recently gotten the hang of combat, in the skull caverns—that adds something too, because i like trying to find prismatic shards (i’ve only found two so far 😔). but what else? 🧐 you can make mayonnaise and then drink it in front of npcs and they’ll be like “ew” or “what?” and it will make u laugh. 😌 and, of course, you can date!! people make a lot of noise over the dateables. there is an alcoholic called shane who is quite soggy and sad BUT if you get enough hearts with him you will be able to buy blue chickens. they have curly tail feathers!!! i like elliot, he lives on the beach and mopes on a bridge or reads in the library. there’s also a doctor called harvey you can date, he’s into airplanes! sebastian still lives at home with his mum and stepdad, but he rides a motorcycle. there’s emily and haley, they’re sisters—emily is older and likes crystals and mystical woo woo things and haley is mean LMAO, she treats you like DIRT until she starts warming up to you (she likes sunflowers and coconuts and pink cake). leah lives out in the forest and has the cutest house, she always decorates it for the season. 🥺 she’s an artist!!! she does a lot of sculpture. she’s also quite forward LOL. ummmm there’s sam, he’s a cutie, he does tricks on his skateboard. his little brother is my little bestie, i bribe him with snails and cranberry candy. maru is seb’s stepsister and tbh she seems like a true loner in the town—kinda isolated? but she works in the clinic with harvey and she likes using her telescope to see the stars. alex was my first love—he’s a jock, and he’s also mean when you first meet him LMAOOO. he likes summer and the beach and wants to go pro one day. you can give everyone in town gifts and birthday gifts—i like giving stuff to kent, the ptsd-riddled veteran who’s come back from what sounds like a P.O.W camp? he’s married to jodi—they’re sam and vincent’s parents! the mayor is kinda ok. you can find his boxers in his girlfriend’s room and if you wanna you can put them in the summer luau’s giant soup pot and make him really mad lmaooo.

if you have the game on pc, you’ll have the 1.6 update, which is meant to add so much to the game too, like new secrets and stuff. 🥺 im only on my switch so i haven’t been able to play with it but from what i’ve seen and read of the update, starting a new save with 1.6 is a whole new ballgame!!!!

when i went to art school it made me so sad, it made me hate my own art or making art, stressed me out so bad i got random pains on my legs, and i have so many friends that thrived at art school, i wish i could have been one of them tbh

now im in audiovisual arts (like film school but you do everything from screenwriting to animation) and i am so much more happy, sometimes not doing the stuff you love for school is the right desition ngl 😭

i hope you are able to do illustration, that sounds really good, here they took away that career in the only public uni that had it 💔

at this rate im not sure if i'll ever get college level illustration training and im kind of ok with that. i didn't need it to start my webcomic and though it would be NICE to make more progress and have the insights of better artists to help me along, i probably dont NEED it to get where i wanna be. still. it'd be cool.

New's Ketamine Diary 10.27.22 Underworld

Been almost a month since my last k + health update.

I waited 13 days for my next dose. I still felt great mentally and emotionally despite a resurgence of anxiety lately. Likely a combination of world events + new pain meds + changes happening around me. But no PMS depression. I had been feeling kind of emotional and was cranky last week but I was also kinda burnt out and stressed in general.

It's still so weird to go so long without my intense feelings of hopelessness. Especially considering things going on in the world. I feel so much deep sadness and anger, but that's more helplessness, I guess.

It felt like much longer than 13 days and the trip was definitely a little more intense, but not overwhelming. Very melty. I can't remember any visuals but there was a really good internal conversation about my future that made me feel excited.

The energy I feel lately is very much "Eight of Wands" in the tarot. Path is cleared and there are so many options for me to choose from. Easy to get overwhelmed, but also just really exciting.

After this one I waited a full 14 days. I was worried it'd be rough because of a recent death of a friend. I'm realizing it's the first time I've lost a friend and it's been a lot to process. The trip itself was fine, quite positive actually. But afterward I felt really dizzy and sick for a few hours.

The night before my next dose (15 days later), I narrowly avoided a random panic attack. It came out of my body from nowhere, like suddenly I was in danger. I wasn't able to take my rescue meds to calm it since I was already on pain meds from earlier but I got it managed with acupressure mat, deep breathing, etc.

With a lot more recent triggers, the k session was a little bit of a rough one. I was thrown into the late 80's and it was very film-like. I can't remember much of the trip, but it was definitely a lot of processing and releasing.

I stayed put in bed but even just shifting my position made me sick. I forgot my puke bowl so I had to crawl to the sink. Vomiting is still so weird on k. It's not as unpleasant since I'm dissociated but it's still gross.

It took me a few more hours to recover. I'm now reclined at my desk but not feeling well enough to eat more than a few pickled plums. All out of salt and vinegar chips, which are the healing elixir I crave after ketamine therapy.

The past month has been mostly a dissociated blur. Moving between anxiety, grief, rage, pain. Definitely burn-out from working myself too hard. But not depression and hopelessness. Yes, I want my physical and emotional pains to end but life is still worth living if they don't. I feel very excited for things to come, for a future I can grasp, and that motivates me to keep fighting for health care so that I CAN do what I want to do.

Still waiting to hear about the grievance that was filed for my thoracic MRI, but I did catch up with my PCP. She can't refill my Tramadol since my pain mgmt doc is giving me Suboxone. Tbh I hate the latter. It's stronger, sure, but it makes me sicker. Can't sleep, eat, go number two… I don't want to JUST be on that stuff. So my PCP is going to try to refer me to a pain mgmt doc who has experience with Tramadol (most I've seen don't prescribe it anymore at all). She said that she trusts I'm not abusing it since she knows how painful my conditions are and that the rate of my refills indicates I really am only using it for "bad days."

Still trying to make appt with new GI. Colitis has been really good lately though, I'm managing it well with my new supplement and pate routine. Period is supposed to be due today, so we'll see if I survive it since I can't take Suboxone or Tramadol on a ketamine day. Whoops.

since he was aware that he liked your lil’ random kisses, he began to pretend to be invested in activity bc he realised that if you thought he was preoccupied with something important/stressful, you’d be more likely to give his neck a lil’ peck

for instance, if he’s just on his phone or whatever then you text him saying that you’re coming over, he immediately rush to gather his backpack and bring out his notes so he can sit at his desk to look like he’s studying lmao

and he’s just got the most cunning smirk on his face which he’s trying his very best hide to conceal

so after a few years of dating, they become less of ‘random kisses’ and more like just regular kisses for tsukki but he always tries to act like it’s surprising

you know I gotta talk about my mans vert wheeler

favorite thing about them - his overall character is just SO good. I love how he grows into his role as leader and you can tell he’s dying for some found family bullshit and he just does everything he can to take care of his team and keep everyone alive while also being fair and strong but he’s a human 18 year old and stumbles and has his moments and I just think his characterization is SO great. Really really good stuff, he’s such a likeable character. Vert is clearly so incredibly stressed all the time but handles it so well, I think growing up without his dad (and believing he was abandoned) made him decide to NOT become that and so he does everything he can to be there for his team and that’s so sad but also so mature of him I love you vert

least favorite thing about them - nothing. bf5 vert is what perfection looks like. I’d like to be his stepdad

favorite line - I can’t remember the line but when he said it the delivery was so funny. When he says something sarcastic with a big smile it’s the best he’s such a punk. I love vert have I mentioned that. Always coming up with the bangers he’s such a king

brOTP - I love the Vert/Zoom brOTP like vert having a chance to be an older brother to anyone is so cute.  - Stanford/Vert brOTP is soooo goooood. I love thinking of them bonding over just being so overwhelmed and stressed out by the shit life throws at them all the time. Vert helps Stanford stay grounded and Stanford offers Vert an outlet to just bitch all he wants about whatever. I think they’d get on really well one-on-one. Bond stronger than steel forged through dealing with Simon tbh - the vert/agura brOTP is strong with this one, she is his right hand arm man, his silly rabbit or whatever. Vert can trust her with anything but he also knows in the back of his mind he has to make sure she doesn’t kill someone. She makes sure he doesn’t throw himself off a cliff see that’s called equivalent exchange or whatever

OTP - I love tezzvert I think their dynamic is really great, I have always loved how vert always has tezz’s back but never hesitates to call him out and make him take accountability for his actions. Vert backs him up when he needs it and is sooo patient with him. I loved watching their mutual respect clearly grow for each other and it was a really amazing moment when Tezz acknowledged Vert as the capable leader and deferred to him, not out of obligation but because he finally saw what a great leader and person Vert is and it’s like.. if tezz admits that then you know you’re legit. - I am also a HUGE sucker for vert/AJ I think it’s SO damn cute. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings on this pairing, like it can go so much deeper than friendship so fast but I think AJ wouldn’t let it go fast because he respects and loves Vert too much to jeopardize their friendship just because he’s been in love with you since you came to the Yukon as an angry and hurting teenager. An updated Rust McClain (and Rocky) HCs post

Because I've been thinking abt him more and have updated thoughts abt him (og list can be found here in case anyone wants to compare) (it also just has some overall waste world hcs tbh)

CWs because I realized while writing this that it gets very dark in some bits: Frequent mentions of death (Specifically dying in labour, a baby dying, and then Rocky's canonical death), non-specific ED mention. Let me know if I should mention anything else!

Backstory/False Memory HCs

To start off on the same foot as the og post, due to Rust having a very fucked up memory situation going on and believing he's a real person, his mind has basically supplied him with fake memories. I googled it and it's called False Memory Syndrome. There's a similar term, confabulation, but that leans more towards remembering things concerningly wrong (fabricated, distorted, or misinterpreted memories) than having full-on fake memories

His false memories are also made up partially of what Lionel had figured out for Waste World's plot, since this game is a lot more story oriented (or at least, was meant to be before the modding incident)

In Rust's mind + in Lionel's story drafts, the nuke that caused the radiation dropped when Rust was a little kid, ~10 at the oldest

Rust has no memories of having a mom, or any sort of maternal figure in his life, so he has no specific memory for that. He's assumed that she died in childbirth though for reasons that'll be explained ahead

Something that was also actually written in by Lionel was that Rust's dad died in Rust's mid-teenage years. Lionel never came up with a reason, but Rust's mind has made it so his dad died protecting him. His dad handed him a map to the cache and told him to run

Due to Lionel constantly flipping back and forth between 'Rust and Rocky are a father/son duo' and 'Rust and Rocky are close friends', Rust has some. Odd memories when it comes to Rocky

His brain has both convinced him that Rocky is biological and not biological, having two very conflicting memories when it comes to Rocky

Luckily, he's written it off as stress-induced memory issues and, without the help of his FMS, just figured out a reasonable explanation himself. A sad one, and he's probably just making himself mentally iller, but. Oh well

Route One: The biological-son memories. Obviously, Rust needs someone to have a kid with, he can't have a kid on his own. Doesn't matter with a cis or trans hc, can't get a surrogate in the middle of a fucking apocalypse, and he doesn't have magic or anything of the sort

So, as I've mentioned a few times before, brain wife that he completely made up in his head! Her name's Lock and she's mentioned/shown here and here

And as mentioned in a previous post, she assumed he was bad news and kicked him really fucking hard in the back. He now has back problems.

The back problems are Actually caused by his heavy ass fucking bag hidden by his cloak but he obviously doesn't realize this

Blah blah blah, relationship stuff, anyways his false memories are making him believe she died in childbirth, to explain the lack of Badass Wife in game. But bam! Child!

He wasn't there to witness it though, she sent him off to collect supplies. Aka his brain doesn't know what mental imagery to suggest with that one

My girlfriend and I have a joke that she wrote down name ideas for the kid while Rust was supply searching. Unfortunately, he cannot read

However, obviously, his brain also needs to go with the not-biological route. And how was that accomplished, you may ask?

The baby died

Rust can't remember *how*, but it did, and god that tore him apart. Because it was probably just simply a case of 'They couldn't find food soon enough' or something. Like you can't prevent that, shit happens, but it still breaks him apart to think about

So then at some point, Rust finds an abandoned baby (or at least thinks he does, bc FMS), and just. Immediately decides he needs to protect this random baby he found. Whether it's a parental instinct or guilt is up to interpretation

Child raising stuff, or at least the important bits, can be found in this fic, I'm too lazy to go over them again

Pre-Canon + During-Canon HCs

Separated from the backstory ones on account of those are fake memories, this stuff is like. Events that actually happened

He got kidnapped and died. Working on the theory post for that <3

He and Rebecha became fairly good friends! She babysat Rocky if he ever needed to do anything alone

Rebecha didn't get too attached to either of them, considering the fact that she's already gone through Combat Arena X and Secrets of Legendaria, but y'know

Was supposed to fight The Vurm in the forest, but Sado removed the cave so she could, instead, add fog. Because after the forest would (supposedly) be the route that leads to The Cache

Honestly? Most of Rust's planned enemies were never added, but were planned, so he knows about them anyway. Hence why there's only 2 bosses in the Boss Rush Mod

Back to Rebecha, Rocky learned his first ever swear word from her

She earned a lot of shit for that, especially since said word was a loud "FUCK" after Rocky nearly fucking died doing something stupid

Rust has yet to let her live it down

"Rust, I'm sorry, but you just don't have enough resources-" "'Ey remember that one time a while back when m' kid swore? Wonder who taught 'im that." "I said I was sorry, the fuck do you want from me??" "R e b e c h a."

In a Rocky-lives au though, if Rebecha didn't teach him how to swear, there is a sorceress elf who could do that much quicker than Rebecha ever could without trying-

Rust's had to repair his gun so many times

The shotgun actually 'belonged to his dad' so that's why he cares to keep it functioning, not to mention it's hard to find resources out in the Wastes, including weapons

How does he keep ammo? I dunno. He might be able to make it on his own, I don't know enough about guns

At the inn, Rust did try talking to the others. But FPP wasn't saying anything so Rust assumed FPP hated him for some reason, Weasel Kid was automatically an asshole, Chandrelle was also automatically an asshole, and Chandrelle was often sitting with Bryce, therefore excluding Bryce from the viable options list. And Rust just gets a bad feeling from Reggie. So! He sits with Lazarus and chats with him

Genuinely interested in Lazarus' stories. He doesn't understand whenever Lazarus brings up the topic if games failing, or magic, or anything of the sort, but he DOES know what aliens/cryptons are and how shooting works

He has asked Lazarus way too questions about his different guns. He has also talked a lot about other guns. Lazarus is getting extremely annoyed by the gun talk. But Lazarus is too much of a pushover to tell him to shut up. So, the gun talk continues

By the time the ritual takes place, Rust is just...out of it. The memories of what happened to Rocky just made him unable to focus on anything for a while, not to mention that the Mind Control Serum was at least somewhat being used, just so Rust wouldn't back out last second

Post-Canon HCs

Not much to say that hasn't already been shown in fics

I do think Rust would isolate himself from the group a little, whether intentional or unintentional. He accepts their help, provides help, etc., but he just. Can't handle having genuine bonds anymore. Not after everything he's been through

So he. Gets a little bit cold. Not a lot, and again, he still does spend time with the others, it's just hard for him

Despite his abandonment issues, that doesn't mean he has trust issues. He has faith in the others, excluding Reggie and Jeremiah

Absolutely despises Jeremiah, and refuses to be in the same room as him, no matter what. He can tolerate Reggie, but doesn't pretend to like him

Has very complicated feelings when it comes to Irving and Lionel, because he never knew either of them. And no one wants to talk about them, including Lazarus, who's chatted with Rust the most

Had developed an eating disorder after Rocky's death due to eating MUCH less than normal, and that's saying something considering the Wastes. He's slowly working on it, though

Oh and also has to work on his sleep schedule

He's just. Overall trying to get better after that happened. Bryce is helping him the most through that

Would likely end up leaving the inn after a while. He needs to be on his own, and the lack of explanations are just frustrating him

General/Non-Specific HCs

Last section! Holy fuck

He's very good as fixing up vehicles! He often borrows or buys tools from Rebecha, who doesn't care, she doesn't want to be working anyways

He can get it functional enough to work for a little while. Not too long, but still

I learned while doing a bit of research that basically if you stab a specific car part you can get gas (or a gas-like eqivalent) from it! So he does that

He also. Somehow. Knows almost everything about guns. He has no access to previously done research. He does all this just by taking apart guns then putting them back together

Is incredibly far-sighted, and really badly needs glasses

He's adapted to shoot based on sound. Instead of trying to be stealthy, he startles his target so it makes noise, then shoots. He can pretty accurately shoot vital bits too despite his vision problems

If using sound isn't an option, he just. Shoots at whatever blob he's aiming at. Nowhere near as accurate but it's better than nothing

Bisexual king

Like I've said before, he doesn't know what sexualities are, he just figures everyone finds men and women attractive

Lots and lots of nightmares. It's been like that for as long as he can remember

Came to the inn some time after Bryce and Chandrelle

I don't have a strict voice claim for him, but for some reason there's a bit of a vibe match with Poor Mans Poison. I'm not sure why

Very accented way of talking, though! Half his words aren't fully pronounced

Probably from the south or the west, but we have no way of knowing for sure obviously

If you asked him for his favourite food, he'd say roasted radrat, but also say that the occasional canned peaches/canned food in general tastes really good. Bryce has made it his mission to make him try out new foods

His blood is a bit of a brownish-greenish-reddish colour now due to exposure to radiation and the mind control serum

It's a miracle none of his organs are failing, really

Despite popular belief this boom boom boy would probably know straight away how your feeling and everything

He would probably start off not knowing what to do I mean who the hell would go to him for comfort normally

The answer is basically no one so he doesn't really know what to do everytime he's sad he just kinda sucks it up and deals with it

So don't expect him to know what to do right off the bat all he knows is he definitely doesn't like seeing you like this but he doesn't know what exactly to do so he does what he knows best, violence

He will try and hurt whatever hurt you, yes that includes things that technically can't get hurt like just life in general or school but he has good intentions I promise

After he realizes it's only making you more upset he'll try the second thing he knows how to do

"Hey dumbass I made your favorite food so stop pouting and come eat, and don't say you have I know you haven't"

Your health is so important to him and he wants to make sure your still taking care of yourself and he knows how much you love his cooking so expect him to cook for you when your not feeling like yourself

He will always be down to cuddle with you when you need it and honestly even when you don't need it

But even more when you do, he'll just hold you for hours and rub your back and try and tell you sweet things to the best of his ability which surprisingly isn't bad at all

He feels lowkey privileged to be able to see the side of you that isn't happy and isn't perfect

He will read his Romance manga to you or with you when your feeling down to try and make you happier whether it's during a cuddle session or with you in his lap while hes sitting at his desk with his head on your shoulder

He's happy to make you happy and if having to show a more vulnerable side of him is makes you happy he will make that sacrifice

His main priority although is just making sure your taking care of yourself like eating,brushing your teeth and hair, and showering and if your not he will help do those things for you until you can

But for you he tries his best it's not that he's bad with his words he's actually pretty okay at it but not really comforting words he's better at setting people off

He always wants to make sure that his words never come off condescending either as he can sound like that at times

He can always give you reassurance of you need it but unlike bakugo he won't try to solve your problems for you

He believes that everyone needs to figure out their own shit, that doesn't mean he won't be there to support you though he just wants you to be independent in a way

He let's you be down and doesn't complain since he understands that going through tough times happen to everyone and that it's best to ride out that wave and soak up that emotion

"Cry a river but don't let it drown you" type stuff he's supportive but your demons and problems are yours to fix he'll hold you If you need but when it comes down to the problem that's your problem to fix but he will be your cheerleader

She is level headed enough to speak her mind and stand her ground while simultaneously being able to put up gently with a force of nature like toji is. The typical infj man trope - like kakucho hitto - comes right after; maybe he's the type to marry while toji is the type to fuck around with.

@anthenais good god, I would love to put my name here to be honest - but a woman like her has men like shiba taiju on a tight leash. @nkogneatho I know we didn't interact that much the last month and I'm actually really sad about that because she's one of the few people I can call kind and caring with clear conscience, which is why I would ship her with draken the most. Loni is an incredible caring person and deserves the same amount of love she gives and nanami, albeit very careful with his emotions, can do that. He's someone who wouldn't kill, but live for her. He is mature, kind and gentle - making the small things important and taking importance out of stressful situations. Funny enough, Beelzebub comes in second and to be honest, I don't even know why. favorite thing about them

Oh where to start? XD I love LaCroix's voice, his manner of speaking, all his amazingly dramatic gestures. I also the slow decline LaCroix goes through the game, from a facade of a leader that has everything together (even though we all see that he has anything but under control) to the mask slipping down to show a man at his wits' ends. I also find him very fun to write about, there is so much to explore with LaCroix in fics, what is his real background, what was going on in his head throughout vtmb, could he ever make the right choices if given the chance to? Etc, etc, etc.

Also on the shallow side, I love how he looks on his knees! XDDD

least favorite thing about them

(I love the way he lieeessss) LaCroix does have a bad habit not seeing a good thing when it shows up, and it is sad and annoying (but fun to explore in fics where he can learn to trust the fledgling) that he can't handle the idea that someone might not be against him or is not disposable. Also I get werewolf are a scary part of the WOD for you, LaCroix but tons of trees getting cut down is badddddd.

What Jin is like in a relationship/ Jin as a boyfriend Tarot reading

I just realized I describe some things in this reading that won’t make sense to you guys cause I used my angel tarot deck in the picture but I’m using my other tarot deck to look at the pictures and describe what I get because the angel deck isn’t as visually expressive compared to my other one lol whatever.

How long does it take Jin to get into a relationship? & Does he prefer long or short term relationships The sun reversed, ace of cups, page of wands knight of cups, judgement reversed

Jin seems to get into relationships so what quickly but moreso having a problem of being too intense. There’s a lot of showing off, over bearing energy. When he meets new partners he can come across as too egotistical and the partner can feel outshone. He could be caught up in the excitement of new relationships. He might have gotten into a good amount of relationships quickly because the Princess of wands is younger immature energy and gets caught up in the idealized worship of someone. I think he likes that purity aspect in someone in a new relationship whether that literally means he likes virgins👀 or he just likes someone who appears pure but has a fiery passionate side. But still this has made him more arrogant like “I can get anyone” energy and at the same time left him burnt out. There’s always a burnt out energy with these guys.

Now it looks like he wants something more long term. It looks like he’s starting to slowly move away from that party everyday lifestyle and jumping into a new relationship quickly. Very slowly though. I get the image of him now ignoring calls of past hookups cause it’s no longer fulfilling. I think he’s become more open minded in the sense that he accepts his partner more as they are and won’t try to make them into something they’re not. Okay his type is what we pretty much already know, with the Queen of pentacles being a great homemaker and nurturing sensual etc but I’m getting there’s sort of an energy of being successful or maybe from a wealthy family but having to keep up appearances and being bored out of your mind. This person works way too hard and their inner self wants to go off and leave the mundane world and go off and actually enjoy their own fantasies and dreams. Anyway I know I’m very late to the party, but some of the boys are either getting to much hate or too much love over here (in my opinion) so I made a pros and cons list for all of them, I’m sorry- (I’m warning you now this will be long but I’ll put it in bullet points so it’s a bit easier to read, just read it whenever your mentally ready lol)

Lucifer (I hate this man.)

Pros

He’d help a lot with getting your life together wether that be finding a job, choosing the right college or other shit like that

He’d make sure your working hard and getting everything done, which is both a blessing and a curse tbh

He would be the one to take the most care of you whenever your ill psychically

Cons

He would probably overwork you

Doesnt have much time to spend on you and doesn’t make a effort to find more time unless your getting really sad about it

Probably wouldn’t be the best of help through issues with mental illness (he just doesn’t strike me as that type, feel free to disagree)

His pride would cause some serious problems in relationships :/

Mammon (I love this man.)

Pros

He’s the “if your sad, I’m sad” kind of guy so he does whatever he can to put a smile on your face

There would probably be some communication issues due to his tsundere nature and habit of ignoring you when he’s mad

He’d get super mad at you when your trying to help him financially, maybe it’s a ego thing or maybe he’s just tired of hearing it

While his possessiveness is cute at times he’d definitely get way to overbearing if you don’t force him to cool it

He’d try to set up designated hangout times (like Friday is movie night, Tuesday is for RPGs etc)

Even if he makes an effort to meet you in the middle if you have different interests he’d refuse to get into “normie” stuff

Pros

Similar to Lucifer he’d be good at helping you get your life together and putting you on the right track

Unlike Lucifer, he’d actively make time for date nights and/or hangouts multiple times a week wether your going out for dinner or reading in front of the fireplace

While he himself might not be best at helping with comfort in the moment, he’d be great to turn to if you needed a long time treatment (you need a therapist? He’s got the best three in your area that you can afford and he found some helpful things you can do in this book)

Cons

As stated previously, he’s not the best with comfort, which can be an issue if you need a friend/partner who can be your biggest source of comfort (I’m not saying he’ll do nothing, it’ll just be kinda awkward ig)

If you vent to him about something he’ll always offer advice and while that can be good, sometimes all you want is someone to listen to you and getting advice can be annoying in the moment

I feel like hanging out with him you’d rarely ever get to talk about pointless things, everything would be serious you know? And while serious and deep conversations are good for bonding, some people (myself included) need to be able to talk about dumb things without having it turn philosophical

Pros

He’s the best at boosting your confidence, there’s no competition

He’s more into spontaneous outings (he suddenly got the urge to go shopping, your coming with right?)

You can talk about just about anything with him, no judgment and he’ll never speak a word of it to anyone else if you don’t want him to (although he may brag to his brothers that you told him your secrets)

High emotional IQ

Cons

He has set things of things he’s interested in and his idea of trying the things your into is doing whatever it is for about 5 seconds then deciding it’s not for him

He cares a lot about looks, I don’t mean he’ll hate you or insult you cause he thinks your ugly, I mean he’ll constantly try to do your makeup, hair, and nails and he’ll always say things like “Your hair is a bit messy today, did you brush it? Yes? Well not good enough, let me do it” and “your wearing that out? There’s nothing wrong with it, I just think you’d look a lot cuter in this” and if your anything like me, that’ll get on your nerves a lot

While he’s great with emotional issues, if it’s a problem with anything like school or your job he’ll have no solution to offer, all you’ll get is a “You can do it!” and a good luck kiss

Pros

He’s the best person to vent to, no judgment and tons of hugs and comfort food

He’s a mom friend, no explanation needed

Very supportive and always concerned for your health

Your in trouble? Call beel, he’ll help you and make sure your home safe before questioning you and will only lecture you out of love (unlike a certain older brother that will lecture you because “Your tarnishing Diavlo’s reputation by acting out like this. Your an exchange student, you must abide by the rules and behave yourself.”)

Cons

Food is his answer to everything (Sad?Food. Injured? Food. School’s stressful? Food plus a little help studying) and while food can be good for comfort, sometimes you need him to provide more than a snack

He’s the opposite of Satan in the sense that he’ll almost never offer advice when you rant to him, he just assumes getting it all out is help enough and won’t offer much more then a hug and food

Not getting along with one of his brothers? “They can be a handful, but they’re great people once you learn to handle the chaos” yeah he rarely thinks what his brothers did is a big deal so he gives you advice on how to apologize and get past it and he’ll give you food

Belphie (he really does attract the mentally ill people huh-)

Cons

I feel like he’d be good for certain people with social anxiety and people who have issues with always being scared about being a bad person (“you think your a bad person and are becoming more and more toxic by the day? Well your a better person than Lucifer that’s for sure, wether or not your toxic were going to cuddle now get in bed” or “your worried everyone is constantly staring and judging you for everything you do? Well I don’t really care about what your wearing or the way you walk so I doubt they do either, can we go home now?” ((Side note, I experience both of these issues and his uncaring personality would calm me, which is why I think this one of his pros))

He just wouldn’t care about whatever type of life style you lead and as someone who’s constantly scared of being judged for their lifestyle this would be amazing (“you sleep all the time? Same let’s nap together” “You don’t eat very healthy? Whatever, it’s fine, can we sleep now?” ((although it is a double edged sword))

He gets a burst of energy and just does the most random things (you see that tree? He’s already climbed half way up it. That petting zoo? He’s already feeding the lambs. That store? He’s already spent 30 grim)

Just like his twin he thinks every problem has one solution, but instead of food he thinks the solution is sleep (your sick? Sleep is the best medicine. A lot of homework? If you sleep you don’t have to think about it.)

At some point he just doesn’t care enough, if you come to him with a serious issue he’ll half listen to you rant then pull you down to sleep

He teases you a lot, which is fine teasing is fun, but he takes it too far. Maybe he touched on something your insecure about or he was too merciless, whatever it was, he won’t apologize for it, he just thinks your being sensitive. If he brought up some bad memories he’ll consider it, but his way of apologizing is cuddling

get ready for some ramble-y ass, v unorganized, first reactions to the finale, because i am wine drunk and emotional and still trying to get my heart down to a resting pulse and i have so many thoughts

- okay that was a damn gripping episode, i was on the edge of my damn seat the whole time. i went in with like 99% faith that teresa and james were gonna come out alive but they still had me STRESSED the whole damn time!!!! like even tho i was seeing the little signs throughout the episode that it was all a plan my heart was pounding like crazy!!

- i went into today thinking as long as teresa and james were alive in the end i would be happy but then rewatched a bunch of old episodes right before the finale and remembered that i did indeed care about pote and kellyanne and really actually would be upset if they had died, so i was quite stressed, especially for pote at the end!! when he’s fighting boaz!! which also! was super badass btw. all the sicarios backing off at the end!! lol at the random dude who save pote’s life by making boaz take the “sicario’s challenge” tho (which like? lol what?) like okay haha

- everyone loves chicho so much haha him and pote are so cute!!! i love how much chicho gave his all for pote and KA this episode, i’m sad he couldn’t come w them but it was SO CUTE to see chicho with marcel at the end!!! building a bunch of legit businesses and growing the PCCC!!! i love that journey for them.

- i really didn’t think pote was in on it because honestly i didn’t think he would be able to be that good of an actor (the character, not the actual actor, hemky is amazing lol) but i mean pote really pulled thru. he let all his damn emotions out for that performance cuz i was fully convinced he didn’t know until the end when it shows them telling him. actually i got an inkling when he was saying goodbye to marcel and chicho and gave marcel the ~gift~ from teresa lol.

- i do wish we had gotten more flashbacks because like when exactly did james figure out that devon was gonna order him to kill teresa? when did he tell her? did they figure it out together? teresa said she had a boat on standby for TWO YEARS does this mean the plan had been in place that long??? like before james left phoenix??????? or was the boat just always there and the plan came later??? idk tho. i watched 3.05 today and the “if they come for me, i’ll be ready” “if they come for you, I’LL be ready” REALLY HITS A LIL DIFFERENT NOW TBH what if james already had an inkling and when devon showed up that night it confirmed his suspicions.. and they started planning like. that night after they fucked. dude. idk the wheels are turning too fast in my brain rn. ik they probably just planned it this season after james was “let go” by devon and they knew it was too easy, and maybe just in the past couple weeks’ episodes. but who the fuck knows!!!
