The Binding of Isaac has a lot of toilet humor.
TMI: It all started because I looked biblical with my two towels on the toilet, hunched over in pain with no successful outcome. And I had to draw it.

terry pratchett managed to invent transgenderism in a largely accurate and respectful way when he wrote monstrous regiment meanwhile anne rice has invented transgenderism at least twice in tvc and both times it's just the most insane possible situation not even because of the transgender symptoms but because of the everything else going on

Anne Rice cannot introduce a woman character without also at least introducing the suggestion of her cross-dressing as a man, even when she's a Renaissance Venetian courtesan, and I think that's beautiful. The memetic phrase goes "did X effectively utilize girl power" but in my brain it goes "did Anne Rice effectively utilize tboy swag when writing [every single character but especially Gabrielle de Lioncourt]"
