Total Drama Camp Island au
Fuck it. Au where Camp Wawanakwa is a Theatre camp. Chris is the director, Chef is the technical director. Mixing Gen 1 and Gen 2, the cast and crew splits up like this:
(PS, if two people have the same role, it’s just double cast.)
CAST
Alejandro - Joined because he enjoyed theatre as a class. He easily gets roles, though his charm is sometimes seen as an unfair advantage to others so he doesn’t audition much.
NOTABLE ROLES
the Phantom
the SQUIP
Emmett Forrest
Rocky
Kenickie Murdoch
Sierra - Joined because OBVIOUSLY she wants a place to nerd out! She gets good roles because she’s one of the only people who put all her emotions and being into her lines AND songs.
NOTABLE ROLES
Sandy Cheeks
Jenna Rolland
Columbia
Ronette
Delia Deetz
Duncan - I can’t decide whether he joined as a joke, or if his parents forced him to hang out with other teens. Maybe both. But surprisingly, he’s a good actor—AND can, surprisingly, do an incredible Mr. Krabs impression. He also constantly fights with crew to not wear a wig, keeping his mohawk onstage.
NOTABLE ROLES
Mr. Krabs
Jake Dillinger
Eddie
Orin Scrivello
Beetlejuice???
Tyler - Joined because he thought it would be like High School Musical. His roles are never big, but he has fun with them and always treats them like they’re the lead.
NOTABLE ROLES
Patchy the Pirate
one of the businessmen that purchases an Audrey II
Harold - He WOULD be a threatre kid if he could. He auditions with rapping EVERY TIME. And it works for him.
NOTABLE ROLES
Sheldon J. Plankton
Kevin G
Riff Raff
Geoff - Joined as a dare, and ended up loving it. He’s super chill about cast lists, and whatever he ends up with, he makes sure it’s including Bridgette.
NOTABLE ROLES
Patrick Star/Larry the Lobster/Gary the Snail
Damien Hubbard
Heather - She likes being in the spotlight. She expects roles, and she gets roles. .. not always. She’s typecast as the mean girl.
NOTABLE ROLES
Chloe Valentine
Regina George
Magenta
Vivian Kensington
Betty Rizzo
Lindsay - Loves movies and musicals and wants to be like that!! But she usually forgets her lines… and when she does, they’re all from Mean Girls. Even if she’s doing Rocky Horror, she’ll say her Karen Smith lines. Oh well.
NOTABLE ROLES
Karen Smith
Paulette Bonafonté
Frenchy Facciano
Leshawna - She has a big voice, so she’ll join to get big roles. Although, she’s never really cast in dance heavy roles…
NOTABLE ROLES
Pearl Krabs
Janice Ian
Audrey II/Chiffon
Elle Woods
Owen - He thought theatre camp could be fun! He has a surprisingly nice voice, and is just really good at embodying characters.
NOTABLE ROLES
SpongeBob SquarePants/Patrick Star
Michael Mell
Noah - “Joined as a joke”. He secretly really wanted to. He has the gay theatre kid energy here… his voice is also quite pleasant.
NOTABLE ROLES
Squidward Tentacles
Adam Maitland
Brad Majors
Warner Huntington III
Trent - Joined for fun since he had a free summer. He always brings his guitar, and sometimes plays it for script read throughs.
NOTABLE ROLES
an Electric Skate
Aaron Samuels
Cody - Family got him to join. They hoped he could get really cute roles, and he acts like he doesn’t care. He does.
NOTABLE ROLES
SpongeBob SquarePants/Old Man Jenkins
Seymour Krelborn
Bridgette - A friend suggested she signed up, so she did—tries to get a couples role with Geoff ever since they got together.
NOTABLE ROLES
Mayor of Bikini Bottom
Brooke Lohst
Janice Ian
Brooke Wyndham
Courtney - She’s done every subject and activity, of COURSE she’ll try theatre! She’s destined to be a star! She takes everything extremely seriously. And if she doesn’t get the role she wants… it’s scary.
NOTABLE ROLES
Christine Daae
Jenna Rolland
Gretchen Weiners
Vivian Kensington
Barbara Maitland
Crystal
Katie and Sadie - They picked a summer camp they wanted to do together, chose this, and auditioned for EVERYTHING together. They don’t really do roles that aren’t a duo.
NOTABLE ROLES
the Delta Nu girls
Justin - Decided to join because he assumed he’d get roles IMMEDIATELY for how he looked. He did not.
NOTABLE ROLES
an Electric Skate
Kyle the delivery man
Cameron - His mom suggested he joined a theatre camp because it felt “safe”—plus, he can actually sing and dance pretty well, since he grew up with his mom’s disco music.
NOTABLE ROLES
Seymour Krelborn
Anne Maria - She REALLY wants a shot at being a lead in a musical, but is painfully… tone deaf. But she’s pretty good at dancing, actually!
NOTABLE ROLES
Cha-Cha DiGregorio
Mike - His psychiatrist suggested he take a theatre camp, since his excuse for his switches is that he just “likes to act”. In reality, Mike… doesn’t really like acting. He’ll take one role, but all his others are usually done by… not. Him.
NOTABLE ROLES
Jeremy Heere
Beetlejuice (Mal)
Danny Zuko (Vito)
Zoey - She actually loves musicals! Big theatre kid! She can make her own costumes and knows way too much about the shows she’s in, but barely says anything about it because she’s nervous about appearing as weird.
NOTABLE ROLES
Karen
Christine Canigula
Cady Heron
Chutney Wyndham
Janet Weiss
Lydia Deetz
Sandy Olsson
Lightning - Joined by accident. He doesn’t know where he is. He likes the attention, though.
NOTABLE ROLES
an Electric Skate
Brick - He was too nervous to join theatre at school, so he tried a summer camp no one had ever heard of… and it was perfect!
NOTABLE ROLES
Perch Perkins
Dr. Scott
Scott - Joined as a joke. Auditions as a joke. Usually tries to get someone to mess up a line or say the M word onstage…
NOTABLE ROLES
Rich Goranski
Dakota - OOOFF COOUURRSEEE she has to be center stage! Of COURSE! It’s not Broadway, but this’ll do!
NOTABLE ROLES
Brooke Wyndham
Miss Argentina
Dawn - (is usually crew)
NOTABLE ROLES
Audrey
CREW
DJ - paints sets!
Eva - helps with exercises and choreography!
Gwen - head of makeup!
Izzy - she does the practical effects/special effects/visuals!
Courtney - she has FOUGHT with Chris and Chef to be allowed to act and do crew at the same time. she does lights. do NOT let her be stage manager.
Ezekiel - also pants sets!
Beth - assists in costuming!
Cameron - prop master!
Mike - when he can avoid acting, he helps Cam!
Dawn - she’s an assistant stage manager, and always knows who’s playing what before the cast list gets written somehow…
B - to save money on hiring various companies for flying or using other big machinery, he handles that himself.
Sam - sound master!
Brick - when he’s not acting, he works on being head of costumes!
Jo - stage manager!
PPS. I know most of these are adult shows, but do you think Chris gives a shit

Emoji fanfic ask
❌🛒🥺⛔️
⛔ Do you have a fic you started, but scrapped?
ohoho, so many. ive posted excerpts from a few on ao3, such as the gwourtney tdwt rewrite that i scrapped & the trent comes back to tdwt instead of duncan au that i only wrote one chapter for. the rest are locked away in my files and seldom looked at.
there's a fic for a new season back on the island that takes place a year or so after tdrr with all new challenges that i gave up on after like two and a half chapters (nemma was the main couple for that one to give you a sense of how long ago i wrote it lol).
there's a tdas fic from alejandro noah courtney and gwen's povs (guess what the main ships are...) that i planned out extensively and then started writing for that i haven't worked on in years, probably because the actual writing of it didn't seem nearly as good as the planning did.
there's a really old gwent & nemma fic that i think was an au of the black friday musical? idk what i was thinking. it was bad. it was nonsensical and it was bad.
and then there was this whole high school au that mostly focused on the theatre department and was absolutely based on my high school that was a hyperspecific flavor of weird (us students described it as a combination of a summer camp and a cult so uh... i guess that isn't too far off from tdi).
there was also a post tdrr season i planned out that took place on a cruise ship and contestants competed in trios? i read the one and only chapter i wrote for that and apparently alejandro had a younger sister named marcela who is honestly kind of an icon lol i should bring her back for a different fic or something.
and pretty much assume that for every season of total drama, i had at least one rewrite planned that i eventually abandoned. honestly it's sort of a long term goal of mine to write my own version of every season of td. i've got tdwt with slippery slopes, tdrr with amicus curiae, and eventually tdi with the courtney time travel au. we'll see how long that takes lmao it's already been over a year and i'm like 40% done at the most.
❌ What's a trope you will never write?
probably any kind of soulmate au. i just don't like the idea of a romance that's so predestined that there isn't any real development between the characters. i like to read and write feelings growing organically, and when the characters instantly lock eyes and have this automatic deep connection it just feels very artificial to me. that's not to say that all soulmate aus are like that, and there's actually one or two (non td) that i enjoy and regularly reread.
but i think to write a soulmate au i would need a very strong plot revolving around soulmarks and whatnot and i would rather just have the plot without the soulmates. i feel like the concept of soulmates implies that there's only one person a character can have a meaningful relationship with and once they find that person the relationship will be perfect.
i like reading/writing about the struggles that come with making the choice to be with someone you love without any certainty that they'll be your perfect person forever. the fact that you don't have that certainty but choose to stay and foster a relationship and have that hope for a bright future together makes it a lot more meaningful to me. i also feel like soulmate aus tend to prioritize romance much higher than friendship and those are two kinds of relationships that i like to place on equal ground in my writing.
im not trying to say that all soulmate aus are bad, or that ppl shouldn't enjoy them. they can absolutely be some people's jam and if it makes you happy then go for it! there are definitely tropes i like that other people don't for valid reasons and that's all okay.
thanks for the ask!

hi, merc! can i request the #8 from your 30 day prompt list for dick and joan - or any pairing of your choice, really. (loved the recent chapter of TDS!)
#8 - a community theater AU
Oh, friend, this brought me back! I used to do a little bit of theatre.
@tvserie-s-world, who asked for May I please request #17, holding the other’s chin up, with Molly and Tab? I would love to read more about her🥰
Scene: The Camp Playhouse, for a production of Kiss Me Kate, a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew.
She really wasn't paid enough for this.
None of them were being paid, actually - that was the whole deal with community theatre - but Molly Mahoney really was not getting paid enough for this, and by this, she meant to say that she'd just seen Billie and Ron getting very involved in a rehearsal in one of the dressing rooms, and it looked like she would once more be going to the afterparty alone. It was late, she was owed lunch, and she wanted nothing more than to step outside, eat her sandwich and try not to think about the…everything-ness of the tableau in the dressing room. But fate, it seemed, was not on her side, because getting to the locker room seemed nigh impossible without running into someone else who wanted something else from her.
"Here, Mol - Molly!" Doris shouted to her from the front edge of the orchestra pit. "Stand in for Lilli, here, will you, Eileen's got to get in to get that skirt fixed and and Tab's got to run his song."
Molly tried to remember what being pleasant sounded like and blinked under the stagelights. "Doris, I don't sing."
"You don't have to, just take the book up there and read. from the top of page 46, please, Tab's gonna start so we can rehearse the cue and his choreography. From 'Good Morrow…'
Tab, giving an extra special florish to his capelet, looked up at the table where she was seated and beamed, and for a moment, Molly felt seen, and shaken to her bones for it. Was this how Eileen felt every night?
Of course not - Eileen was an actress, and one with a very rich boyfriend, at that. She did not need Floyd Talbert or his very blue eyes seducing her over a set piece.
"Good morrow, Kate; for that's your name, I hear."
She fumbled for a moment with the book, trying to summon her best disdainful Shakespeare heroine. "Well have you heard, but something hard of hearing: They call me Katharine that do talk of me."
Tab beamed, the playboy actor playing the playboy actor playing the Italian ne'er do well to the hilt. "You lie, in faith; for you are call'd plain Kate, And bonny Kate and sometimes Kate the curst; But Kate, the prettiest Kate in Christendom. Could I but see thy face?"
"But why, sir, tis but a face like any other."
There it was, the musical cue, and Tab turned up the thousand megawatt smile in time with the opening crescendo to Fredric-Petruchio's big dazzling number.
Were thine that special face The face that fills my dreaming, Were thine the rhythm'd grace, Were thine the form so lithe and slender, Were thine the arms so warm, so tender, Were thine the kiss divine?
She knew that Eileen's cue was to look away for most of the song, but it was impossible not to be drawn in to the sound of his voice, and singing such a song.
And then there was his hand, turning her chin just that much farther to look at him, like she were a piece of art he were intent on studying, still singing, the stage lights plunging everything else into an unknowable abyss, and it was just them, and the half-painted flats, and the orchestra, and Tab, singing about love, about being beautiful.
When all these charms are thine Then you'll be mine, all mine.
The orchestra crescendo'd out, and Molly could only stare, for a moment, before remembering the book in her hand, that the scene went on from here, that there were lines, cues, directions forward.
And then there was Doris, clapping, and Tab breaking scene, asking if he'd been loud enough and whether she'd liked the little flourish at the end, and they were back in rehearsal again, and Eileen was waiting in the wings in her leggings, the offending skirt left in the costume shop. The dream was over. She was still tired, still single, and still waiting for lunch.
Oh well, Molly thought to herself. It was nice while it lasted. (She was too preoccupied with the thought of lunch to see that someone's eyes followed her out, and his scene partner smirked to notice.)

what’s the difference between your camp tv au and the canon td storyline? why do the characters look different? i just stumbled upon it today and was wondering :))
Thank you for the question!! I’ll be splitting this post up into paragraphs as there is quite a bit to cover.
There are quite a few differences in personalities, especially with Heather and Lindsay as their personalities are practically swapped (with some adjustments), as well as relationships between characters and background info. I mainly went off the original trailer for Total Drama, and the majority of designs are based off of their Camp TV versions, the main exceptions being Heather, Cody, and Noah. (Originally, Heather and Noah were not a part of the cast, I’ve just replaced Eva and Justin with them instead). Another big difference is elimination order, but I can’t talk too much about that without spoiling a bunch ;).
Now to get more into the designs— to put it simply, I just didn’t like a lot of the ones that were either for Camp TV or ended up being used for Total Drama. My friend Evie designed Cody and Noah for me like the absolute angel she is, whilst I redesigned Courtney, Eva, Heather, and Sierra, just to name a few. Some of them were because of story reasons (Courtney and Heather), whilst others were because I didn’t like their original/beta designs (Eva and Sierra). Redesigns will be made whenever there’s a large gap between a season, or its needed because something happens to them in the story. As an example, the cast for Camp TV and Camp TV: Lights, Camera, Drama will all get makeovers for Camp TV: The Musical. (Justin especially but that’s a surprise I’ve saved for later ;))
I’m unsure if you’ve read the fanfic yet or if you just found it from my most recent post, but you can find a lot of stuff in the Camp TV Masterpost on my blog. I’m unable to link it since I’m on mobile, but it’s tagged both in the main Camp TV tag and with its own special tag. (Which, surprise surprise, is camp tv masterpost :))

What made your knees jerk in happiness, anger, confusion as Auburn beat GSU 41-7 last night?
Auburn beat Georgia Southern, Auburn is 1-0, Auburn allowed 78 total yards last night (their best in more than 30 years), Auburn gained more than 500 yards and ran for over 350. Auburn did that without its backup quarterback in Sean White, starting tailback Kam Pettway, and one starting receiver in Kyle Davis. Auburn visits Clemson next weekend in a meeting that’s College Gameday worthy, if it were not for the fact that Oklahoma visits Ohio State at the very same time.
Those are all facts. Now for the opinions.
First, from Ryan Sterritt:
The flight was good
— Ryan Sterritt (@RyanSSterritt) September 2, 2017
Jarrett looked fine. If Slayton catches that deep ball that hit him on the hands AND numbers, he has a "big night" in his debut. Whatever... Dude throws a ball as pretty as he is *swoon*.
I thought the defense might keep Southern to fewer yards than we had points. It was that way well into the 3rd quarter. Sure, close games are fun, but so is watching Auburn defensive linemen and linebackers swat blocks away like flies. This front seven is going to be sooooo good, y'all.
Hopefully Kerryon is okay. It was easy to see how effective he and Kam Martin can be at times, and having a big bulldozer like Pettway will create so much more space for them.
Did y'all catch the RPO on Stidham's TD run? Oh yeah, its back baby.
EDITOR’S NOTE: IS THIS WHAT WE WANT FOOTBALL TO BE, RYAN??
For those still concerned about the DJ... Don't be. He was great. Basically if Auburn hadn't publicly announced there would be a DJ, you wouldn't know it except for the fact that the music played over the speakers (like there always is) was under his control. He didn't overstep the band at all. As Peggy said on Twitter, it was lit.
Apparently the steps in Section 19 try to fight you as you walk up. From the second row above the walkway, I'm not exaggerating when I say AT LEAST 50 people tripped in some fashion on the second or third step going up last night. The highlight was probably a pledge who tripped in almost slow motion, who then proceeded to just lay on the spilled coke for a few seconds before stumbling back up to the top of the section. It provided us with some good laughs through almost the whole night.
As for our beloved Daniel Carlson...
That's what getting engaged does to a man. :(
— Chay Otte (@Chay_2SO) September 3, 2017
Ouch.
Now, from James Jones:
*Auburn changes the play* Mom: oh come on you didn't know what you were doing?! Me: it's a check *touchdown* Mom: ok never mind
— James Jones (@JamesJones_55) September 3, 2017
I'm not going to be as verbose, but that was fun. It was fun to be home again. To be honest the game reminded me of Tuberville against an overmatched non-conference team. Our defense gave them zero chance of ever making it a game, and eventually the offense made a few plays with a vanilla game plan. 78 total yards. EIGHT PASSING YARDS. They had to have negative net passing yards when you count the sacks. I'm excited to watch the recording because it seemed like Tre Williams lived in their backfield. Williams, Holland, Davidson, Brown, and BYRON COWART were monsters tonight. Damn that was fun.
Yes the offense sputtered at times. It also looked like a lot of Malzahn play-action after the RPO sack-fumble-TD. That's not necessarily a bad thing. We put about 5% of Lindsey's offense on tape for Clemson, and still beat the spread if you found the right shop. War Eagle.
From Emily Rios:
I know I should be concerned that Hastings is our best WR but for tonight I'm just gonna be happy for that kid.
— Emily Rios (@eorios16) September 3, 2017
Jarrett was rusty. He held onto the ball a little too long on some plays. But, all that's to be expected. Receivers not named Will Hastings need to step it up. I think that'll all sort itself out.
The offense was pretty vanilla, which we also expected, but it was more fast paced. No mass subs, no one looking at the sideline for the call for 20 seconds. That's a great start to a better offense.
That defense was just smothering. I can't even put into words how awesome that defense looked.
And now for a bevy of bullets from AUNerd:
I also wanna reiterate that AU's starting lineup video was freaking legit
— AUNerd (@AUSportsNerd) September 3, 2017
Jarrett Stidham had guys open in first half that he just missed. But I think OL breakdowns rattled him. Bounced back in 2nd half.
OL is my bigger concern. Some major breakdowns in first half. Helped lead to Stidham looking uncomfortable. #1 concern heading into Clemson
Cannella was open all night. Catch the damn ball tho.... Wanna see NCM involved more in the gameplan. Too much talent to not get touches
Overall, still think offense can be deadly. Adding Pettway back will be big. #1 concern moving forward is stabilizing OL
Jeff Holland & Derrick Brown made it clear tonight that AU will be just fine without Lawson/Adams. Byron Cowart also had a good night
Tre Williams is going to make himself some money this fall. Incredible closing speed and dude doesn't miss tackles. Huge senior year coming
Tough start for Carlson but hopefully this actually eases pressure. Doesn't have to worry about being perfect
Now for mine:
Defense will keep us in every game this year, bar none. Even in the past few years against lower-tier FBS teams Auburn seems to allow an early drive or take a while to adjust. I know the offense (hopefully) didn’t show much last night, but the defense sent a message to Dabo Swinney to watch out for next week. Get your backup quarterback ready, coach. Kelly Bryant’s going to get hit.
Watching on TV, it was tough to see if Nate Craig-Myers was getting open or not, and if Stidham just wasn’t throwing him the ball. It was clear to see who Stidham likes to throw to, and if Slayton had better hands last night, we’re thinking it was a pretty good performance overall. I would love to see NCM become a huge part of this offense. Based on the A-Day game and the few videos we’ve seen from practice, he was featured in the spring and fall camps, but he didn’t get a pass thrown his way last night.
Also watching on TV, it was evident that the new clock rules had a pretty noticeable effect on the length of the game. There were times where I’d flip over during a commercial to check on the FSU-Bama game and I’d miss a play coming back because the breaks were shorter. Halftime was noticeably quicker as well. I like it.
I do a neurotic thing where I’ll cross my leg in the direction that Auburn’s going on the field, and when I realized that I had it crossed the wrong direction, I switched and Auburn scored the next play. You’re welcome.
They showed the eagle flight on TV and it looked like he flew good.
Now that you ready all of that, you get the highlights.
1-0, Clemson up next. War Eagle!

Total Drama Music Camp AU - playlist / performance ideas
here she is,,,, the cursed secret texts,,,,, the total drama music camp playlist , along with some short explanations below, cringe city bitch (most of these are just covers that i feel are the closest to the performance Style id imagine for these characters and not necessarily the exact sound but u feel me) also i went back and tagged my previous posts abt this concept with “td music camp au” so if you dont know what the helling fuck im talking abt plz have a gander xoxo
link: youtube .com/playlist?list=PL-bPcaq3ZK2L682RHPauxrsFIPvGJdsiM (space is there so tumblr hopefully doesnt nerf me from the tag 🥺 )
Some Nights - ok so first weeks challenge. i feel like chris would just want them to all collab together on one huge group performance. kinda like on the first day of school when they make you do the ‘get to know you’ tests. idk exactly who would sing what parts tho bc there are so many so let your imagination run wild !!
Hand crushed by a mallet - ok. OKYAY. im a home of sexual. but this is a Cody, Trent, Tyler, Harold and Izzy song. Cody is on vocals (especially the rap in this version shdofsgjsk), Trent is on guitar and some vocals (does some back and forth with him during the rap), Tyler is on drums (and does that one tiny background screamy bit towards the end), Izzy and Harold are joined up on creating the background track and DJing the whole thing. the distortion/choppy part at the end is izzy LIVE going ape on the audio level sliders. its one of the most energetic performances of the whole series and surprises everyone including the group themselves
Misery Business - Duncan on vocals and guitar, Geoff on drums, Trent also on guitar and maybe some backup vocals. you all know i chose that bc i love associating mgk with duncan but. i rly like this idea actually ;;
Paparazzi - ezekiel. idk who the fuck else except maybe justin bc he’d dance that shit to death. i will not apologize thats Him and its fire but you may write and send any formal complaints to my po box. ill roll a blunt with them,
Pom Pom - Lindsay, Heather, Sadie+Katie, and Izzy. Lindsay and Heather are on vocals, sharing the chorus and each getting a solo verse, and ofc izzy does the weird rap part towards the end, and most of the background track. they all thought they were stuck with izzy but izzy is stuck with these preps. Sadie and Katie are on backup vocals, but their role in this one is mostly dancing and adding ✨ stage presence.
Maps - Trent is on the guitar and male vocals while Courtney is on the female vocals (the ~top two performers~ gotta have a song together eventually right), DJ on drums, Bridgette on piano. Heather, Lindsay, Justin, and Leshawna are dancers bc lbr the dance from the video is pretty good for a group number
CREEPER? AW MAN - ok this one. is kind of a joke but wouldnt it be rly hilarious if cody, ezekiel, and harold did this one mostly for fun and the whole second part with the existential breakdown was just. used with on stage satire to make fun of chris for being old or smth. like would they suffer that week, yes, would it be worth it, Y E S,
Shatter me - Eva, Courtney, Gwen, Beth. QwQ Eva’s on vocals for the first time and rocks it, Courtney is on violin, Gwen on drums, and Beth uses her instruments to make a background track before the performance so she can do stage tech/DJ stuff. oh also justin should be on this one bc i want. those costumes from t he vi deo,
Chop suey - Lindsay and Courtney on vocals (LMAOSJFkSF listen. we love contrast queens that stun the crowd), Duncan on guitar, Eva on drums (and a lot of background screaming to help the Vibe Tee Em)
Unwritten - Leshawna and Trent? ik its a weird combo but i think they’d kill this
Shake it - GEOFF LMFAOGHJKgjfdG
White Winter Hymnal - Lindsay as Kirstie, Noah probably as Avi even tho we all know he can’t sing that fuckgin low. and idk my other 3 bros as Cody, Tyler and Ezekiel. truly iconique group
Forget me too - QWQ DUNCAN AND COURTNEY ,,,,,,,,,,,, i dont apoloigze for the second mgk = duncan pick, anyways duncans also on guitar, gwen on drums (there is no love triangle in this au btw. the only reason theyre singing this song is bc of the regular ~tension~ that u see in like tdi but its just for the stage mostly. as soon as the songs over they would hug and cheer abt it)
Simple and Clean - Bridgette on singing, Gwen on piano, DJ on drums, Beth on general stage stuff + creates the backtrack with Bridgette's harmonies overlayed
Mr. Brightside - OWEN ON THE BRASS YES BBY ITS HIS TIME 2 FUCKIENG SHINE, Geoff on drums, Gwen begrudgingly on piano, Noah is on vocals and they have to literally bribe him with everything they HAVE to get him to try and sing this way. and he does it and it aint too shabby but he will never do it again
Domino - Leshawna on vocals (again these choices are all, based on general vibe and style and not necessarily voice, this is a tiny white girl singing,), Tyler on drums, Duncan on guitar. energy to the max babey the speakers are gonna blow the fuck out on this one
Starships - KATIE AND SADIE GET TO BE A MAIN DUO !!! they alternate lines , with courtney on violin, izzy on that synthy backtrack, and justin is involved in this one bc id change just a couple of things abt the music video costumes for these characters but like. [grabby hands] gimme
Bulletproof - ezekiel vibes.....? izzy and harold get to team up again for the backtrack. weird kids only karaoke night
The Wolves And The Ravens - 🥺 a geoff and bridgette songk,,,,,
Never Enough Praying (Mashup) - Courtney on Praying, Heather on Never Enough, Beth and Izzy end up together on the background stuff and make a rly nice track actually
Gasoline - bitch. you know what im gonna say but duncans on vocals, Tyler on guitar, Geoff on drums, Ezekiels on track
Better not wake the baby - Noah gets to sing a song that actually matches his style a tiny bit better lol, DJ on drums, Trent on guitar, and i feel like beth is the only one with any hope of figuring out the accordion keyboard thing thats in the background
This is Gospel - Gwen on piano and Trent on vocals. really the music video is the most important part for me bc i think a challenge where oyu have to sing a really intense emotional song while chris gets to dump shit down on your head from the ceiling of the stage. sounds perfect,
Wildest Dreams - codys on vocals bc god i am Obsessed with this cover being a bisexuality / coming out song . everybody thinks hes just regular simping and being his usual fuccboi self when he chooses this song till he gets to those Very Intentionally Unchanged Pronouns that he sings a little too enthusiastically hhhshHDSHHHSDH , also DJ on drums and Tyler on guitar
Happier - Bridgette solo !
Stay - Courtney on guitar and vocals, Dj and Harold are on the hand drum shit. once again i live for the ‘unlikely group actually works together and rocks it’ stuff. courtney as always has talent and enjoys what she does but harold and dj kind of steal the show with how in sync and energetic they are abt it lmfaodghd

really unironically cant stop thinking abt a total drama music camp au. like very camp rock/pitch perfect style so everyones got their own genres and groups and they compete in weekly competitions and every time you can either form a band/duo/etc. or go solo and you can change who you compete with whenever so like imagine the potential drama and the performances no offense but why the fucking fuck are all my au ideas impossible to translate to writing when i have no money or time for anything else and also why is this my brain in 2020

also very tiny td music camp au note;;; you may be wondering why i didnt give duncan drumming as a skill bc thats the stereotypical Punk Rock thing and its simple. from the day i was born i was designed to project everything onto whatever cartoon idiot im attached to at the time and when i was 8 my dance teacher told my mom, in the kindest way possible, i have a problem with anticipation and tempo where i get so into it that im always too fast or too slow and ‘wouldnt make a good drummer’. so i specifically have this idea for one of the hypothetical challenges to be everybody performing with a skill they arent used to and frankly i rly would love just a little bitta [loud rapid fire thumping mixed with a single scream of rage]

oh my god wait im so glad i included dancing as a skill in the td music camp au posts bc that means somebody could hypothetically do the fucking umbrella tom holland routine. also known as unironically the most iconic dance number in history

Hey what are all of the Smosh squads home lives like in TD au?
Okay so a comprehensive thing for this isn’t set up yet, but I’ll try to summarize the current popular headcanons:
Shayne is an ‘army brat’- dad is in the army and his brothers are gonna go into it, too, and he is pressured a lot like Wes by his parents but for pretty much any extracurricular. Sports, music, and most importantly; theater.
Keith... well, I actually just realized we don’t have much for him??? He moved from Ohio? He’s on track? Need to work on that
Courtney’s family is poor, she and her seven siblings take care of each other for the most part, she’s sort of a middle-child so she takes care of the little ones most of the time while the older ones and her mom work. Her mom loves her but is so busy trying to keep food in the house/pay the bills that she has suffered neglect a lot.
Noah has an eating disorder; we’re kind of between Selective Eating Disorder and Anorexia/Bulimia. He is also on track with Keith, but only because he wants a sport on his resume and track is the least difficult.
Olivia has a hella fucking rude homophobic mom, and ‘runs away’ for weeks at a time to get away from her. She even tried to send Liv to a conversion camp one summer. It didn’t work. (I would imagine she bit someone, if not multiple people.)
