Te vs Ti

En esta ocasión se verá la diferencia entre Te y Ti, es interesante notar que ahora se abre el tema hacia las funciones de tipo racional (J).

Te es la función dominante de los tipos ENTJ y ESTJ, y la función auxiliar de los tipos INTJ e ISTJ.

Ti es la función dominante de los tipos INTP e ISTP, y la función auxiliar de los tipos ENTP y ESTP.

Primero, hay que conocer aquello que las relaciona. Pertenecen a una de las cuatro funciones cognitivas principales que es el Pensamiento (T). Dicha función es de tipo racional o Juicio (J) a diferencia de las irracionales (P) esta clase de funciones se usan en el proceso de toma de decisiones como aquellas que procesan la información y dan el resultado final (decisión), es decir, racionalizan la información, de ahí que sean del tipo J. Además de esto, el Pensamiento es ese proceso que se inclina a usar únicamente la información cuantitativa y cualitativa de los objetos, además de intentar establecer estructuras y supuestos lógicos en el proceso racional.

Es importante destacar que estas dos están acompañadas de funciones de tipo Sentimiento (F). Te necesita acompañarse de Fi y Ti de Fe. Al igual que las comparaciones anteriores veremos cómo sucede la dinámica de estos ejes.

Te es una función que se encarga de procesar la información que le llega de funciones perceptivas introvertidas (Pi: Ni o Si) para establecer estructuras lógicas que sean aplicables a los objetos del exterior. Esto quiere decir que, racionalizan las relaciones y acciones de los objetos externos mediante el procesamiento de la información cuantitativa y cualitativa de forma objetiva y universal o para su entorno cercano. Puede dar como resultado que influya en la organización y optimización de procesos y relaciones. A pesar de esto, la necesidad de Fi se hace notar porque tienen que influir los deseos o valores internos para encontrar un lugar individual entre los objetos organizados, además de evitar la objetividad extrema.

Ti es la función que se enfoca en proponer un marco lógico interno y estructurado dónde la información recibida por las funciones perceptivas extrovertidas (Pe: Ne o Se) se procesa para ser organizada y aportar a dicho marco más estructuras lógicas y supuestos que se utilizan para tomar decisiones, las variables cuantitativas y cualitativas se establecen de forma subjetiva y son aplicadas en el mundo interno. Dichas estructuras están en búsqueda de reorganizarse constantemente para obtener precisión lógica, para esto la mayoría de los procesos usan la "pregunta y respuesta" como medio de interacción con los objetos internos. Cómo Ti carece de supuestos éticos porque no se miden en dichos términos sino en los valores universales y Fe los hace accesibles, por tanto, existe esta dependencia.

Después de explicar brevemente las funciones provenientes del Pensamiento, se presentan las siguentes diferencias:

Te procesa información objetiva y suficiente para solucionar problemas externos, Ti procesa información para precisión lógica y reestructuración interna.

Ti genera preguntas y respuestas para obtener información subjetiva, Te genera organización y optimización de acciones y relaciones.

Te depende de los valores internos del usuario, Ti depende de los valores universales o grupales.

Ti suele buscar la verdad más próxima para integrarla en el individuo, Te suele buscar la razón más suficiente para externarla a la sociedad.

Te se relaciona con la practicidad y Ti se relaciona con la deducción lógica.
