This book is worth the hype! THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY by @mattzhaig made me laugh, cry, and constantly turning the page to find out what happens. I think everyone can relate to many of the things Nora feels. I could not help but root for her throughout the book. Definitely 5 ⭐️. And YES I got a Kindle! I never thought I would get one and I never expected to love it! But traveling a lot this year and it’s so nice to have books at my fingertips without the weight. #bookreview for #throneofglass ! •what I liked about this book was 100% contingent upon reading #theassassinsblade FIRST. •i liked the love triangle; that’s a FAVORITE trope of mine •i super loved the infamous assassin->>enslaved and broken-hearted->>king’s champion plot line. Absolutely riveting. •hands down best parts are the romance and Celaena’s foul mouth. She’s equal parts BA and HYSTERICAL. A lot of times humor just doesn’t translate well for me from the page, but Maas positively slays in that department •CHAOL ISNT THE WORST IN THIS BOOK 🖤🖤🖤🖤 •unpopular opinion, but I wouldn’t have had the patience to endure #celaenasardothien without the backstories from the novellas. This book…wow. ALL MY RAGE by @sabaatahir is sooo good in a very heart-wrenching way. (Which I love; any book that makes me cry is definitely going to be a favorite and boy did this one!) It has three unique narrators and I love the different perspectives. It covers so many themes: love, loss, racism, abuse, bullying, immigration, poverty…I could go on. If you find you can’t get into it, stick with it. It’s worth it. 5⭐️. My latest read is @gabriellezevin’s TOMORROW AND TOMORROW AND TOMORROW and it was great! I especially liked the references to Emily Dickinson and Shakespeare, of course. It’s not for students, though I imagine some would enjoy it. I’m not at all into gaming and found the plot, which centers on two friends who create games together, to be absolutely engaging and interesting. So I imagine if you are into gaming, it will be even more enjoyable. I just loved the characters and their relationships. I gave it 5 ⭐️ on #goodreads. What are you #currentlyreading? I am about 3/4 the way through @therealsjmaas’s HOUSE OF SKY AND BREATH (book 2 in the Crescent City series) and loving it. 😍 I keep wondering if this series will merge with her Court of Thorns and Roses series (or even her Throne of Glass series, for that matter).
