WE NEED MORE OF YOUR VIRGIL/PSYCHO RED IS TROYS DAD HEADCANON!
Personally I think virgil was a power ranger who was defeated and remade into psycho red. I mean during Spd we had aliens living on earth so it wouldn't surprise Me if troys mom who would be earth human passing in this AU ran away from her planet after virgil original self was killed in the late 90s(remember astronema said she used raw materials from beings she killed and thus remade into the psychos) and fled to earth. Possibly marrying a earthling after a while and raising troy with said earthling.
.....now I'm imaging the other psychos finding out about megaforce red connection to their leader....karone definitely found out first and told psycho red after having a talk with troys mom.....I can see virgil going all wtf 😆 🤣
Atleast this would mean troy gets to call Andros 'great uncle andros" lmao imagine virgil reaction to that. His son calling his former arch enemy his great uncle....which implies andros is virgils uncle......lmao considering astronema was responsible for five of the psychos it makes sense.
Oh God i can see nokrea/psycho pink trying to help by suggesting random father son bonding stuff like bowling or golf!
What’s even more interesting to me is the fact that the writers say that the house Troy lives in is not the home of his parents but rather his uncle. Which leads to the funniest possible scenario of one of the other psycho rangers being aware that Troy exists and choosing not to tell Virgil and just raising Troy themselves.
I don’t think this is the case but it’s definitely possible which is really funny.
I think the uncle who he lives with his maternal uncle who like his mother is a human passing alien and for some reason they have elected to not inform Troy about this thinking that he’s just gonna turn out to be like a regular human except Troy has all those visions and he doesn’t realize it’s just alien puberty kicking in.

General Ranger Headcanons
Ranger Teams are protective of their youngest members and their Reds. Sometimes, this does coincide, but for the most part, the youngest and the Red are separate people
Red Rangers generally have zero self-preservation instincts, either because of trauma or daredevil personalities
Blue Rangers can be the 'tech wiz', but generally, they're just extremely intelligent
Rangers all have a pretty solid relationship with gender and pronouns. Mostly because they see and fight aliens literally every day and have decided they have Bigger Things to worry about
Reds, Yellows, and Blues are usually always there on the Ranger teams, so it's common for them to be close
Rangers have a list that they pass down to the younger teams. This list details little things like how to help give each other strength to what pain medications can help the aches and pains go away fastest, because yes the suits take most of the blows, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt later
Some Rangers have PTSD, some have anxiety, some have depression. There are, in fact, numbers of former-Ranger therapists that the Rangers all know by heart
Teams don't really drift apart, they stick together because who else is gonna understand what it's like to witness the people you hang around daily almost die every other week?
Rangers drift toward other Rangers. It's due to the Morphin' Grid power they've been imbued with and the Morphin' Grid's pull to itself
There's a point in every Ranger's fight that shift-sleeping becomes the norm amongst teams. It's to stop nightmares, but also because of the paranoia that strikes when you're in fight or flight mode too long
Rangers from space or space-adjacent stick together
Rangers in general stick together, always. Where one Ranger is, another is typically not far behind. Some teams go so far as to get houses together, others just in the same neighborhood or town. Never far from each other, and never away for too long
The Power will never, can never abandon its chosen people. Once it makes its choices, it will not deviate. It doesn't stop looking out for its chosen ones either. Once you've bonded to the Morphin' Grid, you're stuck for life, regardless of being active or not
In Universe, people write fanfiction about the Rangers. Yes, they read it, sometimes they even like it. (Megaforce and down in particular find it hilarious)
The scone the Rangers find out about their Super Sentai counterpart shows, it's on. Some find them hilarious, some find them uncomfortable, but it's all in good fun for all of them
A list of common triggers is passed around to the Ranger teams, including but not limited to: loud noises, bugs, fog, robotic voices/static
Some of the Rangers (especially those who've been fighting for years) get therapy animals
Rangers have problems connecting to people who aren't Rangers or don't know about Rangers. Similar to military or police or doctors, Rangers are never truly off unless they're inactive and even then, it's a roll of the dice as to if they'll be pulled back in. Most of them have been doing this since they were teens, so they never truly got a chance. Preston Tien, Ninja Steel Blue, once described the experience as "playing with a half-deck whilst the other decks are rigged against you" and most of the other Rangers agreed
Every Ranger knows the pain of Nightmares, which is a big part of the reason shift-sleeping became so common amongst teams. Sleeping disorders are also common, which is not easy for the Rangers to deal with. When you're trained from a young age to be fighters and saviors of the planet, you don't walk away without trauma
Rangers who've gone Evil (or started Evil) and come back to the side of Good have each other's direct lines, Tommy Oliver, Karone, Trent Fernandez-Mercer, etc, all of them share a similar fear of suddenly turning evil again
Rangers do not like Zordon for his express need to put teenagers into a war that isn't even their's

Okay hear me out guys here's my absolute crackhead fanfic idea but what if Troy went on became the PR equivalent of Twokaizer (Super Megaforce Gold, maybe?)
Tumblr media
Troy was intended to have a weird "chosen one" plotline which...isn't really THAT great of a plotline, but considering his connection to the Morphin Grid was supposed to be pretty significant, maybe in the future he probably goes around freelancing and dimension hopping whenever he's needed (probably something best saved for a 35th anniversary).
Megaforce's ending was kind of open ended so we aren't really sure what happened to the Megaforce gang (asides from the fact Gia regularly appears, but only ever really uses the regular Megaforce mode and never has the need to go Super, nothing really HAPPENED to that mode as far as I know)
I'm still trying to work out the kinks, all I have rn is that Gosei'd have something to do with it (possibly getting Zordon'd?), and maybe Troy's curious little ass tries to investigate those "ranger teams never before seen"...
Certainly makes a Megaforce reunion a little awkward, though...

A collection of random Headcanons and fic ideas
-Phantom/Morphinaut is autistic. (He’s scientifically-minded, not good with social interactions, wore his armor even when he didn’t need to (see the photo of him and Chendil), and is relatively quiet and reserved.)
-The dinosaurs DID have feathers in the PR-verse-it just lokks like they don’t due to a combination of their feathers not translating to robots, and the specific dinosaurs used for the Zords being specially genetically-engineered to serve as templates.
-The more modern teams often watch the Great British Bake Off in their downtime.
-Zordon’s a fan of Broadway and Musical Theater. He also really likes a ridiculous Eltaran sitcom called “As the Solars Flare”. (He and Phantom sometimes watch it together and poke fun at it.)
-After the end of Cosmic Fury, all the Rangers initially celebrate by sleeping for over twelve hours straight. They’ve been through so much, and they’re tired.
-A few years after Megaforce, Rico shows up at Emma’s door with no warning, clad in an Aqua-colored Ranger suit (minus the helmet) with a nifty scarf) and a massive Bear Zord in tow that is probably one of the seeminlgy-destroyed auxillary Cosmic Fury Zords. After the tearful and heartfelt reunion, he offers to take her and the other Megaforce Rangers on an intergalactic road trip-and asks if they’d like to meet his new team. (Cue the Kyurangers theme.)

Infodump about your crystal rangers!! ✨💚
:)))))
*with the energy if the "I've waited years for someone to ask me about my theories" tiktok sound* I'm so glad you asked!
Welcome to the first in a (hopefully) long line of asks to come. Introducing the Crystal Force Rangers! In an AU written with @estel-eruantien, @takingback-thepenguin, and @lgbtqregalacademy, these are my additions!
~
Kenzie Holling-Carver:
Tumblr media
Child of Noah Carver and Jake Holling, pronouns: She/her, age: 24, dating: Cherry Rocca, Abbie Carson, Aspen Grover, Nick Jones
Crystal Force Red Garnet Ranger (Roll Call: "Crystal Force Red!"/"Crystal Force Garnet Ranger!")
Kenzie is the Red, a leader who isn't quite sure yet how to lead such a big group (10 Rangers, one of the largest Ranger Groups). She lives with fellow Rangers, Nyx, Casey, and Alexander. She's very much taken and very in love. Her Ranger Crystal gives her the ability of luck, good or bad, and the power to change hers at will. She's asexual and proud of it, unwilling to change and refusing to conform to others.
Kenzie has a strong relationship with both her parents and her aunts (Gia and Emma) and uncles (Troy and Orion), but it's obvious to anyone looking that Noah is her favorite.
Kenzie has aspirations of being a writer, and is currently in college at Pearl City for creative writing.
Kenzie didn't want to be a Ranger. She saw what being a Ranger did to her parents and the Megaforce Team. Kenzie didn't want that for herself. When the crystal chose her, she immediately wanted to give it back - the Power made a mistake, Kenzie isn't the Red they're looking for. Even so, she steps up and fights the fight. She goes to her parents, aunts, and uncles often for advice.
~
Nyx Moran:
Tumblr media
Child of Gia Moran and Emma Goodall, pronouns: They/them, age: 24, dating: Cherry Rocca, Abbie Carson, Aspen Grover, Nick Jones
Crystal Force Blue Moonstone Ranger (Roll Call: "Crystal Force Blue!"/"Crystal Force Moonstone Ranger!")
Nyx is the Blue, calm, cool, and collected. They are Kenzie's second in command and good at their job. Nyx lives with their fellow Rangers: Kenzie, Casey, and Alexander. Nyx is also taken and very in love. Their Ranger Crystal gives them the ability to read minds, a useful tool in the field, and to root out who stole the last of their chocolate cookies. Nyx is demisexual and proud.
Nyx has a good relationship with both their mothers, but Emma will always be closest to Nyx's heart. They share a similar love of kids and teaching. Nyx also gets along with their four uncles (Troy, Noah, Jake, and Orion).
Nyx wants to be a science teacher and is currently studying science and teaching at Pearl City College.
Similar to Kenzie, Nyx didn't want to be a Ranger. Nyx saw what it did to their parents and uncles, and they knew that being a Ranger is not in the cards for them. When the crystal chose Nyx, their immediate reaction was anger. Nyx hated their crystal ability, and hated that they where chosen. Ultimately, it was Casey who convinced them to stay. Nyx doesn't regret their Ranger status now.
~
Casey Grayson-Mitchell:
Tumblr media
Child of Carter Grayson and Ryan Mitchell, pronouns: she/her, age: 22, dating: Kelly Hemingway
Crystal Force Orange Carnelian Ranger (Roll Call: "Crystal Force Orange!"/"Crystal Force Carnelian Ranger!")
Casey is the Orange Ranger, fun-loving and positive. She keeps the teams spirits up when possible. She lives with her fellow Rangers, Kenzie, Nyx, and Alexander. Casey is taken and very much in love. Her Ranger Crystal gives her the ability of invincibility, which means that Casey can be used as a sort of shield and cannot be hit by projectiles or lazers. However, it only lasts 30 to 60 seconds, so she has to be quick when she used it. Casey is heterosexual and has no shame about it, though being on a team full of LGBTQIA+ Rangers was a bit of an adjustment.
Casey's relationship with her dads is close knit. She fosters a positive attitude with them, just as her teammates. She's closest to her Dad, Carter, but she also didn't slack in her relationship with Ryan either.
Casey intents to be a firefighter like Carter, and she's going through the fire academy in Pearl City with her boyfriend.
Unlike her friends, Casey was the first to accept being a Ranger. Like Carter, Casey knows that saving lives is what she's called to do. When the crystal chose her, she didn't hesitate, she dove in head first. Her view on it is, if you can't avoid the fire, bring help for those trapped inside. Casey is responsible for Nyx staying with the team.
~
Alexander Collins:
Tumblr media
Child of Trip Regis, Eric Myers, Wes Collins, pronouns: he/they, age: 26, dating: Benji Rocca
Crystal Force Gold Pyrite Ranger (Roll Call: "Crystal Force Gold!"/"Crystal Force Pyrite Ranger!")
Alexander is the Gold Ranger, and while he doesn't make many puns, he does have a good sense of humor. He's a Sixth Ranger, so he's got the power boost that allows him to take on stronger generals by himself. He lives with his fellow Rangers Kenzie, Nyx, and Casey. He's taken, and he adores his boyfriend. Due to Xybrian biology, Alexander has the telltale gem on his forehead and shares his father's mental abilities. His Ranger-given ability is "influence," which allows him to influence the decisions made around him or the emotions others feel, similar to Piper McLean of the Heroes of Olympus series. Alexander is gay and proud, unapologetic about his preferences.
Alexander has a good relationship with all three of his fathers, as well as a good relationship with his aunts, Katie and Jen, and Uncle Lucas. Alexander fully admits to being closer to Eric than his other fathers, though he loves all three the same.
Alexander intends to run the company one day when Wes steps down. He's in school for business in Pearl City.
Alexander, knowing what his parents went through as Rangers and what happened between Eric and Trip before they got together, never wanted to be a Ranger. When the Crystal chose him, he refused for days. It's not until he spoke with Trip, who'd also been hesitant at first, that Alexander accepted the responsibility and came into his full Ranger status.
~
The Crystal Force au Characters are open for asks and NSFW asks over on @the-mad-closet, but I will not do NSFW asks for Kenzie. Please don't ask.
Thanks Estel!

You know, I am shocked at how much Power Rangers fucked up the Gokaiger footage with a singular change. Making Gokaiger into a sequel to Megaforce, which was based on Goseiger, kinda fucks up the singular most important aspects of both series, without adding anything to replace it. The Gokaiger were on a hero's journey, and have clear themes present. They aren't humans, and that is reflected in their pirate theme. Super Megaforce pulls random shit out of a hat to justify the super form, when just having the end to Goseiger where it was originally would have actually been better. Have the main characters be powerless when the second invasion occurs until they get their super forms. Then, they can also justify the Super Sentai-only teams by saying they were other galactic rangers. It also justifies them having to gain the full powers of the teams, since they need to regain their full strength. Justifies everything else, as well, if they have to travel around a lot.

Saw a post on Reddit today that was asking what the fuck gimmick power rangers megaforce was supposed to be, and it reminded of the time the super megaforce changed into the power rangers turbo squad but used footage from gokaiger.
The gokaiger sentai team changed to carranger (with the same suits as turbo),but carranger was a parody/comedy season, so appropriately you can see with the fighting style that they’re mimicking amateurs who basically had no idea what they were doing. It all comes down to the final attack, where all the transformed gokaigers ride tricycles to finish the enemy off.
Turbo, in contrast, was a relatively serious season. But when super megaforce changes into Turbo, they kept a lot of the gokaiger footage.
They kept the awkward amateur fighting style
They kept the mannerisms
THEY KEPT THE TRICYCLES
the tricycles are harder to see because they put colored vfx on the final attack to make it more serious, but if you squint closely, you can still see them.
Just a funny thing from both series

HI HELLO YES HERES A RESURFACING CHILDHOOD MEMORY THAT IM OBSESSING OVER AGAIN!
During my last Power Rangers hyperfix (when i was 11-13 maybe?) I made a team called Power Rangers Jungle Thunder. As far as I know, it never went past the initial concept besides doodles on my school notes, as I didn’t know how to draw humans at the time.
Brace yourselves because this is a very rare loooong text post from me.
So here’s everything I remember about it along with some new stuff me and some buddies came up with!
Jungle Thunder was basically a cross between some of Megaforce’s mechanics and the ranger colors along with Jungle Fury’s theming. The Ranger’s attacks were likely magic based.
Their headquarters was this massive temple shrine ish place deep inside a distant jungle.
The colors and Zords were as followed: Red Jaguar, Blue Cobra, Yellow Macaw, Pink Cheetah, Black Lemur. They were kept in what was basically the temple’s backyard/back garden?
The bad guys were this reptilian ailen race called the Sintonians who understandably trying to take over Earth like every other Power Rangers villain. They interestingly used the traits and morphing energy of past Ranger teams to make each episode’s bad guy. The main antagonist was this dude called Lord Fury who I don’t remember a whole lot about. Other than he was blue.
The sixth ranger was this nonhuman White Ranger, who the team affectionately nicknamed “Buddy.” I forgot what animal he was, but he was created by the Sintonians to attack our heroes with. Of course, they end up befriending him. He had feral form that I’m struggling to remember how it worked, if any?
And the Pink Ranger’s name was Emmie. That’s the only one of the human Rangers whose name I can remember.
Ok. That’s all the original stuff 12yo Daring came up with. She got the concept down, now it’s time for all all the new juicy lore and tweaks. :3
The mentor/sensei character is this tree/dryad deity called Mother Gaia. (Kinda basic but it’s what me and the squad on discord decided on) She’s rooted to the center of the temple (name of said temple still pending) and is very curious about modern humanity, as she hasn’t seen humans in over a thousand years. Also she’s like a mom to them because I love found family dynamics ok
Another supporting character will be Esteban, a jungle spirt who is essentially Mother Gaia’s assistant. Basically Alpha-5’s role compared to Zordon. Don’t know what he’s gonna look like yet, but he’ll be a big help to the Rangers by teaching them their new abilities.
The Zords are pretty interesting. They all look like normal animals apart from the fact their eyes are their respective Ranger’s color. They’re actually the Spirt Guardians, who were sent by Gaia to find the Rangers. Each animal can transform into a giant Zord upon their Ranger’s command. Makes the back garden thing much more manageable if they’re not always giant robots.
If Jungle Thunder were an actual show, there’d sometimes be bumpers before and after commercial breaks with cool jungle and animal facts. :)
Buddy will likely have a basilisk or some type of reptile as his animal, being able to run really fast and stick to walls. Basically he’s the fucked up cryptid the team ends up adopting and I love him.
Ok. so here’s what I have of the lore and basic gist of the first episode. It’s still a wip so bear with me here✨
Long long ago, an ancient civilization in the jungle worshiped Mother Gaia and the Spirt Guardians. All was peaceful until Lord Fury (another deity) attacks, as he was very jealous that he wasn’t getting any attention. Gaia, Estaban and the Spirt Guardians managed to seal Lord Fury away deep underground, but not after he and his army had driven away and destroyed most of said civilization in an intense battle. The jungle itself had to be sealed off from the rest of world so Gaia could maintain the sealing spell that kept Fury at bay.
Fast forward to modern day. (dunno if it’s gonna be in 2024 or mid 2000s)
The Sintonian aliens land on Earth looking for a place to stay, and find the chasm in which Fury had been sealed. They make a deal with Fury, agreeing to follow him in exchange for their services, as they knew how to harness Morphing Energy. This pleases Fury greatly, as he may have a chance at getting vengeance on Gaia and humanity.
Gaia gets news of this and sends the Spirt Guardians to find five descendants of the past civilization with pure hearts to be the next heroes. Unbeknownst to five midwestern college students on a hiking trip, their lives are about to change. Their names are Reno, Isiah, June, Emmie, and Braxton.
The Jaguar Guardian steals the soon-to-be Red Ranger’s backpack. They are led by the animal guardians into a cave that is later how they get to and from the jungle. They meet Mother Gaia and Esteban, who explain the whole situation. After learning they were indeed not getting sacrificed, they agree to serve Gaia and protect humanity. Anything to get away from student loans tbh.
Spirt Guardians proceed to beam spiritual power into them via a ritual. Totally not trauma inducing at all. This power is how the Rangers morph, or are alerted to any of Fury’s shenanigans via Gaia’s telepathic power.
After some more debriefing from Tree Mother and her son, the newly formed Rangers get an alert. The Sintonians are terrorizing the local park in their generic midwestern town. The Rangers suit up and use their super cool new magic powers to kick some butt! :D Hooray!
Ok. Wow. That was a lot of words.
There are still some holes and other things I missed but that’s pretty much everything! It’s always so fun to find something I made as a kid and breathe new life into it! As if I didn’t have enough Ocs already :’) will soon be thinking of everyone’s designs.
That was a certified DaringDoombringer infodump about a nostalgic childhood interest. Thank you for reading and have a good day!

Headcanon that since the jungle fury rangers never had a crossover until megaforce, they are the most isolated from the ranger community, only Casey regularly talks to other teams and they only started to learn about jungle fury during/right before the legendary battle

Cosmic Fury is doing Super Megaforce right.
I know the bar was set so phenomenally low by the latter but it's more how Kyuranger elements are being adapted as part of Ryusoulger's adaptation.
Megaforce could've made it work by starting with a team that operated on its own before inheriting the powers of their predecessors could've worked but having their pirate suits as just a power up kind of made it weird. See no further that Gosei's lack of a simple explanation for Jake going green.
Here, Cosmic Fury is to be an upgrade from Dino Fury given the new suits (love 'em or hate 'em) are designed based on the latter. It feels like the old team we grown to love but in new digs rather than getting a completely different suit and passing it off as an extension.
I guess they could've drawn more inspiration from Kyuranger's suits below the helmet. Definately needs a team insignia for the black chest area ala Overdrive at least.
For Megaforce, they should've taken the opportunity they had with the first season finale where the rangers can use their morphers to launch attacks. Robo Knight could revive them but only temporarily until Vrak vanishes, leaving them to demorph for good before the Armada arrive.
THAT would justify them receiving totally new powers and totally new asthetics from the ground up. Basically an overdone homage to Zeo. Them having new weapons would explain their new fighting styles as they adapt on the fly. At least a little.
That and at least justify the pirate theme by calling them rebels to the Armada's self-imposed authority onto Earth. Heroic pirates were a thing.
...
BTW, I will bust a gut if Ryusoulger Ten Years After happens with Cosmic Fury suits adapted and modified as a power up. Make it SPD all over again. XD

More General Rangers Headcanons
Sixth Rangers are inherently more powerful than the regular Rangers. You'll notice that most can 1v1 difficult enemies that prove challenging to even the Reds of the team (ie.: Zhane (In Space Silver) 1v1'ing Ecliptor). This is because, on a power scale, the Sixth is supposed to balance the team out. A team that can work as individuals and an individual that can work on/with a team
Reds develop an attachment to their Sixth Rangers, be it romantic (Carter Grayson/Ryan Mitchell) or platonic (Leo and Mike Corbett), but it's close and quickly formed
Similarly, Sixth Rangers form quick and close attachments to their Reds, platonic or romantic
Pinks and Blues are either siblings or best friends and there is no in-between
Survivor's Guilt is a powerful force and 90% of the Rangers have it, especially the alien Rangers or those like the Lunar Wolf Wildforce Ranger
Rangers getting discouraged and believing themselves unworthy of the Power is also common, so there's a network of Rangers you can call to help with that kind of stuff
If you don't already have fantastic spatial awareness, you develop it pretty quick as a Ranger. It's damn near impossible not to because of all the attacks by Monsters, Bugs, etc
Red Rangers can give orders to their teams and the Power will give little pushes for the other Rangers to following it, but that doesn't mean the other Rangers can't refuse of their own volition
The Morphin' Grid affords its Rangers a form of immortality. They can be fatally injured, but otherwise, Rangers are effectively immortal
Some Rangers go on to become police officers, but most Rangers agree that working to assist and help people (ie.: lifeguards, doctors, breaking ground in the science fields) is best. Some of them establish dojos to train people to protect themselves (Tommy Oliver) and others work with volunteer efforts (Troy Burrows)
Veteran Rangers, Reds especially, tend to hang back during crossover events- this is to give the new Reds the confidence in themselves and their abilities, and allow them to grow into their leadership. The only exception was Forever Red, because Jason is a little bit of a control freak. He's the oldest Red, it's his right
When a Ranger is in a battle that forces them into demorph (i.e.: Gia, Jake, and Noah (Megaforce) against Creepox) the other teammates will be supremely worried and clingy, this is because of a trauma bond each team shares, but also because seeing someone you love get so hurt in a battle that they lose their ability to hold their morphs is fucking terrifying.
On that note, other Ranger teams will check in after those battles because seeing your successors get demorphed in the middle of battle is also something terrifying
Also on that note, some Rangers have specific nightmares in which they don't make it out of those demorph fights alive
The TMNT do on occasion pop out of the New York sewers to assist in a battle or two with the Ranger teams
Rangers who have martial arts skills (Ninja Storm, Jungle Fury, Samurai, Ninja Steel, etc) stick together, much like Rangers who are from or went to space
The techs of the teams have secret channels that they use to make "communication devices" (cell phones) so that Rangers don't have to rely on their morphers to communicate as well as being able to communicate with other Rangers and teams
Bulk and Skull have been linked so tightly with the Rangers that they've been kidnapped several times, only to be let go when it's been clear they aren't Rangers themselves
Junior Rangers have a chat, kids that helped Rangers (Heather, Jordon, etc.) have linked up and compared notes. They know of or know each other and most of them are tightly linked together
Possibility of more later, I didn't expect more than one post lol

Power Rangers Writing Asks
because I can.
Mighty Morphin': at what point do you usually write the beginning of a story? at the beginning or later on? do you try and actually write an opening scene or do you just sketch it out?
Zeo: how do you approach the growth of your characters? do you always have clear arcs in mind when you conceive them or do they surprise you?
Turbo: have you ever written a surprise villain that ended up being a lot more interesting or powerful than you anticipated? do your villains tend to more op or more cunning? are your villains usually people?
In Space: have you ever written or wanted to write a story set in space? give us a basic premise. if not, would you consider it?
Lost Galaxy: have you ever gotten decently far into a story and realized that your title made no sense? how much does your initial premise mean to the development of your story?
Lightspeed Rescue: do your characters come designed to fit certain roles that the story needs, or do you fit the story around some characters? which usually comes to you first, plot or characters?
Time Force: how good are you at managing pacing? do you prefer things to be paced slower or faster? how important is the timeline?
Wild Force: do your characters tend to get along or not? do they have to practice working as a team? do they need to for the plot?
Ninja Storm: how fond are you of plots that fall on the reader? do you prefer stories that just start or ones that take a little to warm up?
Dino Thunder: do you like bringing back characters from previous installments or even earlier in the book? is it fun to keep developing old characters or do you prefer to work on new ones?
S.P.D.: which of your characters is a natural leader? is this a surprise to the other characters? is there any conflict surrounding leadership?
Mystic Force: if you write fantasy, do you prefer hard or soft magic systems? do you like fantasy with no magic at all? if you don't write it, do you ever slip fantastical elements into the genres you do write?
Operation Overdrive: what's the hokiest premise you've ever come up with? do you adore it even though it's hokey? what are some great things about stories that don't take themselves too seriously?
Jungle Fury: do you prefer smaller casts or characters or large ensemble pieces? how do you feel about redemption arcs?
RPM: have you ever written long lost siblings? what is your go-to parent-child dynamic? how do you write families in general?
Samurai: have you ever written a character who you intended to come across one way but when you read it back you realized they turned out other way entirely? please elaborate.
Megaforce: what's something you've written that is no plot, only vibes, maybe heavily influenced by nostalgia, was written just for you, because you wanted to?
Dino Charge: what's an idea you've had that you started writing for fun but it turned out way better than you thought it would be? have you continued it?
Ninja Steel: if your wip was a gameshow, what kind of gameshow would it be? also do you color code your characters?
Beast Morphers: do you often slip easter eggs into your stories? maybe ones that nobody will get except you?
Dino Fury: do you like to recycle your plots/characters/premises until you find one that sticks? what the wip that has gone through the most changes? if no, then what's something you might reuse in the future?
