I can't believe we're down to one last chapter! Need to reread before I can give coherent feedback but I'm now 99.9% sure Astrid is pregnant. But that's assuming your Toothless can sense these things like most authors do (because we've seen actual pets do it) 😝

Hahaha, I guess the only thing that would tip it from 99.9% to 100% is me actually saying “Astrid’s pregnant”? Or do you have any other theories I don’t know about? Or insights you got upon rereads? :D

Congratulations to the reigning Olympic champs @teamhasselborg on winning their 3rd consecutive Grand Slam title 👏👏👏 Despite a grueling schedule, the Swedish women did NOT fall victim to the #ContCup2020 exhaustion that brought down several of the teams competing both on the men’s and women’s sides... Also, Anna’s pregnant and incubating a human is quite taxing on the body, so there’s also that factor. @bitchasslowry - has my favorite Mitch Marner fic “Prom Queen” which has two parts and it’s just beautiful. She also made me like a story about a player I don’t even like just because she’s that good.

@shelbsatans - when I tell you I cried over these stories. They crush your heart then heal it. But especially this one Jamie O fic “If she’s thinking she could love again”

If you’re not moving forward you’re moving backwards. They’d been mostly standing still for the last 4ish months but at least there had been a few BABY steps.

Kate says it herself; she’s “sick of forcing herself to be angry”

Things have simmered down in her mind. They had a great night together the night prior. They slept in different beds that night, so obviously it wasn’t like “We survived the night without killing one another. Let’s make a baby! Woo!”

Having a conversation about something they’ve already discussed previously and have set parameters for is logical. The next step doesn’t need to be the actual baby! But taking a step in the direction of beeb (aka “Yes honey, I am open to discussing this very important life decision further in THERAPY. Thank you for the thoughtful shiny ring) might have been a nice compromise.

Instead Yelena flipped the script; unanimously decided to postpone project baby without really asking Kate her feelings on it.

Kate is like “holy shit. This is my life. It’s going to be her way or the highway forever isn’t it? I might be a Bottom Bitch in bed, but I’m a top shelf top outside the bedroom. My shit matters too.”

And like no Kate… Yelena bossing you around isn’t you entire life… it’s only like 85% of your life… but frat boi’s been through some shit and the most recent track record for Yelena doesn’t leave a lot of room for grace.

Kate for sure threw a temper tantrum… BUT AT LEAST SHE DIDN’T THROW ACTUAL THINGS!
