After implementing a countrywide lockdown in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indian government has begun to slowly lift its restrictions. These measures forced manufacturers like Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and vivo to temporarily suspend their smartphone production but with the eased restrictions all four are getting back to normal working conditions. Samsung India issued a statement where it confirmed smartphone production in its Noida factory has already been restarted in limited capacity. Xiaomi also confirmed its manufacturing partner Foxconn has been granted a green light to resume its operations at its Andhra Pradesh facility. Oppo is also eyeing to resume operations in its Greater Noida factory while fellow BBK Electronics member vivo has confirmed it resumed operations at 30% capacity in its factory. April was one of the toughest months for the Indian smartphone market in recent memory as analyst firms like Counterpoint Research are reporting that there were virtually no smartphone shipments in the country. Predictions are that May will also see weak demand and Q2 as a whole will be quite rough for the industry. . . . . #techies_page_samsung #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_oppo #techies_page_vivo #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxy #xiaomi #mi #redmi #vivo #oppo #manufacturing #industry ##q2 #covid19 #bbk #bbkelectronics #smartphone #india #china #japan #switzerland #iceland #usa #uk #canada https://www.instagram.com/p/B_9_cJqgtWc/?igshid=y2juba4a1ylu

Redmi unveiled the K30 and K30 5G back in December and later launched the K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom in March with the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Today, the company announced that it will add a new smartphone to the K30 lineup on May 11, dubbed K30 5G Speed Edition (machine translated from Chinese). The event will start at 2 PM China time and will be streamed live. Redmi didn't reveal any specifications of the K30 5G Speed Edition, but the poster shared by the company on Weibo confirms the smartphone will pack a punch hole display accommodating two selfie cameras. The image also confirms that K30 5G Speed Edition will be sold through JD.com, and the smartphone's listing on the Chinese e-commerce site says it will come with a 64MP main camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro units, have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage onboard, and pack a 6.67" 120Hz LCD. The listing also says that K30 5G Speed Edition will be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 768G SoC. It's unclear whether this is a typo or the smartphone will actually have the unannounced Snapdragon 768G chipset at the helm. Redmi is also rumored to be working on a Redmi K30i 5G which is said to be the cheapest 5G smartphone, and it remains to be seen if the Chinese phone maker will announce it on May 11 alongside the K30 5G Speed Edition or unveil it separately. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_redmi #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #redmik30 #redmik30pro #redmik305g #redmik30prozoom #redmik30pro5g #5g #redmik30i #redmik30i5g #snapdragon768g #64mp #china #chinese #redmik305gspeededition #australia #austria #hungary #sweden #vietnam #switzerland #iceland #usa #india #uk https://www.instagram.com/p/B_9-jIRgoVP/?igshid=tkepv19dwbai

However, users are required to use the 33W wall adapter with the wireless charger for fast charging. Just like OnePlus charger, the Mi 30W wireless charger also features a built-in fan for heat dissipation throughout the charging cycle. The Xiaomi wireless charger also features foreign object detection to protect the charger from shorting when there’s a metal object on its surface. On the topic of protection, the Mi 30W wireless charger features 5-layer protection including over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, under-voltage and static. Design-wise, the charger comes with silicon non-slip footpad and silicon phone holder so both the charger and phone are securely placed. The Mi 30W wireless charger can also charge through 3mm thickness, which means you can charge your smartphone through a case. Speaking of which, the charger is Qi-compatible, which means it can charge other Qi-enabled devices. However, the speed is capped at 10W. Mi 30W Wireless Charger price in India The Mi 30W wireless charger has been priced at Rs 2,299 but will be available for Rs 1,999 for those pre-booking it. Xiaomi's Mi Note 10 launched last November sporting the world's first 108 MP camera on a smartphone, as well as one of the most flexible setups at the time, with two telephoto shooters alongside it and an ultrawide and a macro cam. The phone has been doing quite well, sales-wise, and even got a lesser sibling recently in the form of the Mi Note 10 Lite. One thing that it hasn't so far received is an update to Android 10, which is weird because a lot of other (even older) Xiaomi devices have. Well, the wait is finally almost over for the Mi Note 10, as today the Chinese company has started rolling out an update to MIUI 11 based on Android 10. Note, however, that it's a "Global Stable Beta", which is Xiaomi parlance for something akin to a "release candidate". It's not the final version, but should be close to that. If some nasty bugs are found, then the rollout could be halted and a new build would emerge later on. Also note another caveat, which is that currently this is only going out to "global" units, and that, in Xiaomi terms, means those that weren't meant for China, Russia, India, or the European Economic Area (EEA). The update is MIUI 11.1.1.0.QFDMIXM, and installing it requires a 2.6GB download. Aside from bringing the Android 10 goodness to the table, it also packs the April 2020 security patch level, as well as the usual assortment of bug fixes and optimizations. According to reports from users, the camera, fingerprint unlock experience, and overall system speed have been enhanced. There's also a new live AOD feature. However, built-in call recording seems to have vanished in this build. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_mi #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #mi #xiaomimi #minote10 #minote10lite #minote10pro #xiaomimi10 #xiaomimi10lite #xiaomimi10pro #android10 #update #miui #miui11 #australia #austria #iceland #usa #uk #russia #india #china #europe https://www.instagram.com/p/B_6styPgduZ/?igshid=1qplujq8j5fkj

POCO is gearing up to launch a new smartphone globally in coming days as suggested by recent teasers shared by the brand. The company recently posted a video montage of all tweets by fans asking for the POCO F1 successor, which fanned the rumours of the POCO F2 or POCO F2 Pro launching in India. However, a new leak suggests that the next launch from the brand in the country will not be an F-series device. POCO has done this already with the launch of POCO X2 (first impressions), which was initially rumoured to be the POCO F2, but later arrived as the re-badged Redmi K30. Now, it seems that the company might pull the same trick again as a new device named M2 Pro has been spotted on the official website. Here’s what you need to know. POCO M2 Pro details The listing was first spotted by MySmartPrice on the Xiaomi India website. The POCO M2 Pro reference has been spotted on Xiaomi’s RF exposure page with model number M2001J2I and an SAR value of 1.6 W/kg. As of now, there’s no word on other specifications of the POCO M2 Pro. At the time of writing this post, Xiaomi has removed the POCO M2 Pro listing. The publication also spotted the Redmi Note 9 as well the Xiaomi Mi 10 on the same page, and they are still listed. While the Redmi Note 9 has not been announced in India yet, the Mi 10 is scheduled to launch on May 8th. With this new listing, we now know that the former is coming to India as well, although the release date is still unknown. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_poco #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #poco #pocof2 #pocof1 #pocoindia #xiaomi #xiaomiindia #india #website #pocom2pro #mi10 #mi10pro #mia3 #pocox2 #australia #austria #iceland #england #switzerland #usa #uk #redmik30 #redmik30pro #argentina #canada https://www.instagram.com/p/B_5NxSygNnU/?igshid=sa4six1nx66n

Xiaomi’s affordable brand Redmi has a reason to celebrate today - it reached 30 million sales of its Note 8 lineup. That includes the Redmi Note 8 (and its sibling Redmi Note 8T) and Redmi Note 8 Pro versions, and both devices made it to the Top 10 smartphones sold in Q4 2019. The good news was announced by Lu Weibing, brand manager of Redmi. He reminded that 1 million units were sold in one month, in the next one sales reached up to 5 million when the phone went global, the 10 million milestone was reached in a quarter of a year and it took 5 months to reach the staggering 20 million sales. The lineup was announced on August 29 with the Redmi Note 8 Pro becoming officially the first phone with a 64 MP camera but didn’t arrive for sale until September. Since then, Xiaomi has been pushing over 120,000 units per day, every day. Numbers are likely to slow down in the foreseeable future, given the fact the Redmi Note 9 lineup is already selling around the world, and time will tell whether the new family will manage to beat the records of its predecessor. . . . . #techies_page_redmi #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #mi #redmi #redminote8 #redminote8pro #redminote7 #redminote7pro #q4 #2019 #sold #millions #redminote8t #australia #austria #canada #china #india #usa #uk #france #iceland #italy #spain #germany https://www.instagram.com/p/B_2NdsuguN4/?igshid=3px76jdvjevr

The device was previously expected to make its appearance in India on March 31 but that was date was scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Mi 10 5G is the more affordable version of the more premium Mi 10 Pro and still retains the 108MP main camera, 90Hz AMOLED display and Snapdragon 865 chipset. It does lose out on the telephoto modules and comes with a smaller 4,780 mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging. . . . . #techies_page_mi #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #xiaomiindia #india #mi10 #mi105g #108mp #108mpishere #covid19 #mi10pro #90hz #amoled #snapdragon865 #4780mah #fastcharging #twitter #livestream #live #launch #pandemic #australia #usa #uk #canada #iceland https://www.instagram.com/p/B_xleqxgiwm/?igshid=8pl3chtdvlhy

Xiaomi’s MIUI China software releases aren’t intended to be used by global users. MIUI China only has Mandarin and English as languages, lacks Google apps, and comes with a bunch of Chinese services that aren’t of any use outside of the country. The team at Xiaomi.EU takes MIUI China and translates the strings to more languages, adds Google apps, and removes various Chinese services so global users can enjoy bleeding edge MIUI features. In addition, Xiaomi.EU also unlocks a bunch of features that Xiaomi restricts to certain device models or are otherwise hidden in MIUI. Their latest release is based on the Chinese MIUI 12 beta builds and is available on over 2 dozen Mi and Redmi smartphones. Xiaomi.EU MIUI 12 Changelog The initial list of 28 Xiaomi Mi and Redmi devices that Xiaomi.EU based on MIUI 12 supports includes the following: Xiaomi Mi 6 Xiaomi Mi 6X Xiaomi Mi 8 Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Xiaomi Mi 8 SE Xiaomi Mi 9 Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Xiaomi Mi 10 Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Xiaomi Mi CC9e Xiaomi Mi CC9/Mi 9 Lite Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Xiaomi Mi Note 10/CC9 Pro Xiaomi Redmi K20/Mi 9T Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro/Premium Edition Xiaomi Redmi K30 Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 CN/5 Pro (Dual Cam) Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 The team dropped support for the Redmi Note 8 Pro due to issues with bricking that can’t be easily recovered from. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_mi #techies_page_redmi #techies_page_miui #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #mi #redmi #update #beta #miui #miui12 #softwareupdate #china #google #india #redmik30 #minote10 #mimix3 #mi10 #mi10pro #micc9pro #mi6 #mi8 #mi9 #redmik20 https://www.instagram.com/p/B_wViFoAjE2/?igshid=1sd4440txnznf

When the Redmi K30 launched back in December, only the Chinese variant offered 5G connectivity with the global one settling for 4G only. Now rumors suggest that the Redmi K30i will take on the challenge to be the cheapest 5G smartphone on the market and it would probably be available outside of China too. But to keep the price low, some corners have to be cut. In this case, the Redmi K30i would most probably employ a cheaper 48MP main sensor for its quad-camera array on the back instead of the 64MP one found on the current Redmi K30 phones. The information comes from a string in the default MIUI Camera app aimed at a phone named "Picasso", which is the code name for the Redmi K30 5G. And since we know that the K30 5G in China is using 64MP camera, it's safe to assume that this is the international K30i variant. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_redmi #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #redmik30 #5g #4g #redmik30i #48mp #64mp #miui #redmik305g #redmi #xiaomi #mi #australia #usa #uk #unitedstates #unitedkingdom #australia #iceland #russia #canada #india #spain #china #japan #indonesia https://www.instagram.com/p/B_tw2Ymgt-i/?igshid=1jmjqxcf041hp
