The Sprint model of the G8X has just begun receiving its Android 10 update. The regular G8X was updated to Android 10 back in December, but it's somehow taken another six months for Sprint to push it through. Multiple XDA forum users are reporting that they've received the OTA on their Sprint G8X phones, and LG has published the Android 10 source code for the Sprint model on its code repository. If you own a Sprint-model G8X (LM-G850UM9), be sure to manually check for an update if you haven't already been prompted. . . . . #techies_page_lg #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #lg #lgg8x #sprint #usa #android10 #update #softwareupdate #ota #g8x #overtheair https://www.instagram.com/p/CARhZNggulg/?igshid=1naf0l9dj3vco

In the latest build of OnePlus’ Oxygen OS Open Beta for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, a couple of new changes to the camera were added that enable a couple of new video recording modes. While the official changelog was posted over at the OnePlus Forums, it didn’t make mention of these new video modes. The feature was first discovered by Reddit user sneakerspark and this screenshot was posted to that thread. Others chimes in confirming the ultrawide camera’s addition of a 4K recording option. Oxygen OS Open Beta 3 for both the 7T and 7T Pro have enabled 960fps slo-mo at 720p resolution. Currently, all OnePlus devices since the OnePlus 6 Pro can only record at 480fps at the same resolution. Since neither the ultrawide or main 48MP sensors on the 7T have the hardware needed to record at 960fps, the additional frames are interpolated from 480fps. The other addition is an option to record 4K video using the ultrawide camera. Neither the OnePlus 7 Pro, nor the OnePlus 7T offered this feature, but the 7 Pro was updated to unlock the new recording resolution with the ultrawide camera – it just took a while before the 7T would be updated for the same feature. There's still no word from OnePlus as to when these features would arrive in official the official builds of Oxygen OS - it hasn't even mentioned them in the changelog. . . . . #techies_page_oneplus #techies_page_update #techies_page_oxygenos #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #oneplus #oneplus7t #oneplus7tpro #oneplus7 #oneplus7pro #oxygenos #update #4k #slomo #fps #beta #softwareupdate https://www.instagram.com/p/CAPHq0XAz-j/?igshid=8ewp40gts7xe

Many months later, Motorola is finally announcing the update to Android 10 for the foldable Razr today. The new software will obviously bring all of the goodies that Google packed into Android 10 when it got released last September, but there's more from Motorola itself. With this update, the external display, which the company calls Quick View, is receiving some expanded functionality. You can now call people without opening your phone, just swiping left on the Quick View display to access your favorite contacts. With Smart Reply and the all-new Quick View keyboard, you can even read and respond to messages from the most popular apps on the outer screen. The camera features have grown to allow capturing selfies in even more ways than before when the device is closed. You now get more camera modes like group selfie, portrait mode, spot color, and others. You access the camera on the Quick View screen by swiping right - or with a twist of the wrist. Additionally, the Quick View display can now show you turn-by-turn navigation from Google Maps, as well as music players from Spotify, YouTube Music, and Pandora. It's even customizable with themes. . . . . #techies_page_motorola #techies_page_update #techies_page_android10 #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #motorolarazr #motorazr #razr #razr2019 #android10 #update #softwareupdate #usa #uk #india #china #iceland #australia #austria #hungary #spain #italy #france #brasil #russia #vietnam #romania #rome https://www.instagram.com/p/CAFZWqtACm2/?igshid=1ko6080j8atmd

Samsung rolled out the Android 10 update with One UI 2.0 for the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A20e last month, and now it's the Galaxy A20s that's receiving the latest version of Android with One UI 2.0. The new build requires a download of around 1.3GB and comes with the usual set of Android 10 and One UI 2.0 goodies along with the March 2020 Android security patch. The Android 10 update is rolling out over the air for units with model code SM-A207F and SM-A207M. If you own a Galaxy A20s with either of these model numbers, you'll receive the update in a few days. You can also head over to the Settings > Software update menu on your device to check for the update manually. . . . . #techies_page_samsung #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxy #samsunggalaxya20s #galaxya20s #samsunggalaxya20 #galaxya20 #samsunggalaxya20e #galaxya20e #india #indonesia #bali #australia #austria #usa #uk #canada #iceland #maldives #denmark #switzerland #china #sweden #rome https://www.instagram.com/p/B_97HCjgDnR/?igshid=95defcrojush

According to users on Russian forum 4PDA, Sony is pushing the stable Android 10 update to Xperia 10 and 10 Plus users. The software version is 53.1.A.2.2 (bumped from 53.0.A.14.47) with the March 2020 Android Security Patch Level and is available for both the single SIM (10: I3113 / 10 Plus: I3213) and dual SIM (10: I4113 / 10 Plus: I4213) models in Russia and other European countries. Sony hasn’t published a proper changelog for this update as of yet, but the new build should introduce all the new features to the Xperia 10 series that Google rolled out with Android 10, including a system-wide dark mode, gesture navigation, smart replies, and more. The update is being rolled out in a staggered fashion in order to ensure a smooth rollout, but the full firmware package can also downloaded using the XperiFirm tool by XDA Senior Member IgorEisberg. Power users can then opt for either Flashtool (GUI) or Newflasher (CUI) to perform a manual flashing, though we would still advise caution. Both Xperia 10 devices feature 64GB of internal storage, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, headphone jack, SD card slot, USB-C, and NFC. The primary difference between the two is in terms of processing power. While the Xperia 10 Plus is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 platform, the other one is powered by a slightly less-powerful Snapdragon 630 SoC. The regular model also features a depth sensor, which is substituted by an 8MP telephoto shooter on the Plus variant. . . . . #techies_page_sony #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #sony #sonyxperia #sonyxperia10 #sonyxperia10plus #xperia10 #xperia10plus #android10 #update #softwareupdate #russia #russian #usa #uk #iceland #canada #brasil #italy #spain #bali #indonesia #india #china #japan https://www.instagram.com/p/B_73tnrg6wJ/?igshid=1f2xvb7q1ymrv

It looks like this time around, the software is stable enough and hasn't been pulled again, and as such, the Xiaomi Mi A3's Android 10 rollout has finally reached Europe. A tipster, some Redditors, and Caschys Blog report receiving the latest build, version 11.0.1.0.QFQEUXM weighing ~1.33GB to be specific. If you don't have it yet, try checking your system settings to see if you're eligible already. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_mi #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #xiaomi #mi #xiaomimia3 #mia3 #android10 #update #softwareupdate #usa #uk #canada #ghana #westafrica #southafrica #iceland #sweden #switzerland #brasil #france #germany #europe #italy #spain #rome #romania #russia #denmark https://www.instagram.com/p/B_71jNVgM_t/?igshid=b7r00pt8zmyi

The Samsung Galaxy A51 announced last December with Android 10-based One UI 2 is getting a new software update which brings in One UI 2.1. The new build also includes the April 2020 Android security patch and comes with improved AR Emoji, Quick Share, Music Share, and updated Gallery app and Samsung Keyboard. However, the update doesn't bring all One UI 2.1 features to the Galaxy A51. The new firmware sports version A515FXXU3BTD4, requires a download of around 1.25GB and is currently seeding in Afghanistan, Egypt, Israel, Russia, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Saudia Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan. The update is rolling out over the air and should reach your Galaxy A51 in a few days, but you can also check for it manually by heading to the Settings > Software update menu on your unit. . . . . #techies_page_samsung #techies_page_oneui #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxy #samsunggalaxya51 #galaxya51 #oneui2 #oneui2point1 #egypt #israel #russia #southafrica #kenya #morocco #saudiarabia #turkey #pakistan #usa #uk #india #update #india #italy #spain #germany #france https://www.instagram.com/p/B_6tpWlASQj/?igshid=19iek7fovy69h

Xiaomi's Mi Note 10 launched last November sporting the world's first 108 MP camera on a smartphone, as well as one of the most flexible setups at the time, with two telephoto shooters alongside it and an ultrawide and a macro cam. The phone has been doing quite well, sales-wise, and even got a lesser sibling recently in the form of the Mi Note 10 Lite. One thing that it hasn't so far received is an update to Android 10, which is weird because a lot of other (even older) Xiaomi devices have. Well, the wait is finally almost over for the Mi Note 10, as today the Chinese company has started rolling out an update to MIUI 11 based on Android 10. Note, however, that it's a "Global Stable Beta", which is Xiaomi parlance for something akin to a "release candidate". It's not the final version, but should be close to that. If some nasty bugs are found, then the rollout could be halted and a new build would emerge later on. Also note another caveat, which is that currently this is only going out to "global" units, and that, in Xiaomi terms, means those that weren't meant for China, Russia, India, or the European Economic Area (EEA). The update is MIUI 11.1.1.0.QFDMIXM, and installing it requires a 2.6GB download. Aside from bringing the Android 10 goodness to the table, it also packs the April 2020 security patch level, as well as the usual assortment of bug fixes and optimizations. According to reports from users, the camera, fingerprint unlock experience, and overall system speed have been enhanced. There's also a new live AOD feature. However, built-in call recording seems to have vanished in this build. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_mi #techies_page_android10 #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #mi #xiaomimi #minote10 #minote10lite #minote10pro #xiaomimi10 #xiaomimi10lite #xiaomimi10pro #android10 #update #miui #miui11 #australia #austria #iceland #usa #uk #russia #india #china #europe https://www.instagram.com/p/B_6styPgduZ/?igshid=1qplujq8j5fkj

Huawei has started seeding EMUI 10.1.0.1.26 firmware to some of its Huawei P40 and P40 Pro units in China and may soon hit global units as well. It's not a major update but it does bring some nice changes, mostly in the camera department. The most notable one would be the picture-in-picture viewfinder when going beyond the 15x zoom. It allows you to get a better idea of where you've zoomed in on the subject by adding a secondary non-zoomed viewfinder. The update also improves the camera performance when snapping fast-moving objects, the overall clarity of images and colors are more accurate and true to life now. Other under the hood changes include optimization of WiFi connectivity and the notifications in the drop-down menu. . . . . #techies_page_huawei #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #huawei #emui #huaweip40 #huaweip40pro #china #update #softwareupdate #camera #performance #wifi #australia #usa #uk #argentina #brasil #india #germany #spain #iceland #switzerland #firmware #ghana #westafrica #denmark https://www.instagram.com/p/B_yumDAAqx9/?igshid=1qj0mij5vgt9b

Creating a speaker group is a handy feature in the Google Home app as it allows you to cast media to multiple Google Cast devices simultaneously. The ability to add Google Cast devices to speaker groups was initially only available for Google Home smart speakers, Chromecast Audio devices, and other Google Cast-enabled speakers. In November of 2018, Google rolled out the ability to add Chromecasts to speaker groups in the Google Home app. Android TV devices have built-in Google Cast functionality but only now are they getting the ability to be added to speaker groups. In case you haven’t received this update to the “Chromecast built-in” app yet, you can sign up for the beta program on the Google Play Store. Then, open up the Google Home app to see if you can add your Android TV device to a speaker group. . . . . #techies_page_google #techies_page_googlehome #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #google #googlehome #homeapp #app #update #softwareupdate #android #androidtv #tv #tvs #googleplaystore #playstore #chromecast #smartspeaker #audio #speaker #group #australia #iceland #usa #uk #china #india https://www.instagram.com/p/B_wZ0dag3P7/?igshid=lmrvurlev04k

Xiaomi’s MIUI China software releases aren’t intended to be used by global users. MIUI China only has Mandarin and English as languages, lacks Google apps, and comes with a bunch of Chinese services that aren’t of any use outside of the country. The team at Xiaomi.EU takes MIUI China and translates the strings to more languages, adds Google apps, and removes various Chinese services so global users can enjoy bleeding edge MIUI features. In addition, Xiaomi.EU also unlocks a bunch of features that Xiaomi restricts to certain device models or are otherwise hidden in MIUI. Their latest release is based on the Chinese MIUI 12 beta builds and is available on over 2 dozen Mi and Redmi smartphones. Last week OnePlus finally delivered on a promise they made back in October of 2019: to update both the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T to Android 10. As such, the first OxygenOS Open Beta based on Android 10 was released for both phones, allowing users to test drive the early software release and provide their feedback ahead of the official rollout. It may take several rounds of Open Beta releases before we see the final update rolled out, but we’re making steady progress in that direction as the second OxygenOS Open Beta based on Android 10 has just been released for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. As expected, Open Beta 2 is mostly a bug-fixing update, and we’re not seeing any major shuffle in terms of new features or UI changes. The update optimizes the split-screen experience, improves general stability, fixes unspecified bugs, and also bumps the Android security patch level to April 2020. The full changelog for Open Beta 2 is as below: System Optimized split-screen operation experience Improved system stability and fixed general bugs Updated Android security patch to 2020.04 For some reason, this update will not be rolled out as OTA to Open Beta 1 users — as OnePlus previously mentioned in their blog post. Instead, users will have to install it manually. If you’re running the first Android 10-based Open Beta or the latest Android 9 Pie-based stable release, you should be able to install the new update without losing any user data. But if you’re coming from the last Android 9 Pie-based Open Beta, make sure to backup your data beforehand as flashing the Open Beta build will wipe everything. . . . . #techies_page_oneplus #techies_page_oxygenos #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #oneplus #oneplus5 #oneplus5t #oxygenos #beta #update #softwareupdate #australia #canada #usa #uk #unitedkingdom #unitedstates #iceland #india #china #germany #southkorea #argentina #europe #france #spain #securitypatch https://www.instagram.com/p/B_uH2AcA-Ur/?igshid=11fnsdcsc2nql

Samsung has announced that the rollout of Android 10-based One UI 2 update for its Galaxy devices in India has been delayed. The delay has been caused due to the nation-wide lockdown in India imposed by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19. This information comes from Samsung through its Members app, and it's a bit vague since the company says "we're experiencing a slight delay" without revealing how much the update schedule is affected and when the rollout will commence. . . . . #techies_page_samsung #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxy #samsunggalaxynote10 #samsunggalaxynote10plus #galaxynote10plus #galaxynote10 #galaxys20 #galaxys20plus #galaxys20ultra #galaxys10 #galaxys10e #galaxys10plus #covid19 #india #lockdown #qurantine #usa #uk #unitedkingdom #unitedstates #oneui #oneui2 #android10 #galaxya70 https://www.instagram.com/p/B_qBjfjARMq/?igshid=147qfhlbi78z6

hen Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform back in December, one of the most interesting new “Snapdragon Elite Gaming” features they introduced was updateable GPU drivers. Normally, GPU driver updates are contained within OTA updates sent to users, meaning the user has to wait for an OTA update to roll out before they can get updated drivers. With the Snapdragon 765 and Snapdragon 865, Qualcomm worked to make it possible for OEMs to distribute GPU driver updates through an app store. The first OEM to take advantage of this feature appears to be Xiaomi as the company has released an Adreno 650 GPU driver update on its Chinese app store. Xiaomi recently uploaded an application called “GPU Driver Updater” on its Chinese app store. The app, with the package name “com.xiaomi.ugd,” is intended to update the Adreno 650 GPU found in the Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The update brings optimizations to several games including PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Honkai Impact 3rd. Updates to OpenGL ES and Vulkan are also contained within the GPU driver update. . . . . #techies_page_xiaomi #techies_page_qualcomm #techies_page_update #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #qualcomm #snapdragon865 #ota #overtheair #update #softwareupdate #gpu #gpudriver #snapdragon765 #oem #pubgmobile #pubg #playersunknownbattlegrounds #fortnite #honkaiimpact3rd #updates #mi10 #mi10pro #redmik30pro #xiaomi #usa #uk #australia https://www.instagram.com/p/B_mdtlOALA6/?igshid=3kofqc0ajcj0
