The flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is a 6.67-inch device with a 120Hz FHD+ OLED curved display in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is an upper-left punch-hole notch which houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The display comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and has a peak brightness of 1120 nits. Biometric security on the Mi 10 Ultra is provided via an in-display fingerprint reader. Now the internals of the Mi 10 Ultra includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, 8, 12, or a whopping 16GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The battery measures in at 4,500mAh — in two separate internal cells — and can be topped up by a superfast 120W wired charger. That’s not all though as you can also top up at 50W via a proprietary wireless charger, while 10W reverse wireless charging is also included. At the rear, there is a quad-camera setup that includes the headline 120x ultra-zoom which utilizes a periscope lens plus digital zoom for enhanced images. The Mi 10 Ultra relies on a 48-megapixel main sensor, 20-megapixel ultra-wide, and 12-megapixel portrait lens. It comes with 8K 24fps shooting capabilities plus 960fps slow-motion recording too. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra comes in three distinct designs: Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver, or an absolutely awesome Transparent Edition that showcases some of the hardware underneath the rear glass panel. No strangers to this, Xiaomi made a transparent Mi 8 Pro device in mid-2018. No word on global availability but the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will start shipping on August 16 in China starting at 5,299-yuan or around $760 when exchange rates are factored in. We’re hoping to learn more on global availability soon. . . . . #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #xiaomi #mi #mi10ultra #xiaomimi #xiaomimi10ultra #china #fastcharging #120hz #48mp #mi8pro https://www.instagram.com/p/CD1a5LiAIUK/?igshid=52y6wv6bvrys

Announced back in May, the Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 is Qualcomm’s latest mobile connectivity solution for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on mobile devices. It’s the first FastConnect chip to support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Wi-Fi 6E is an extension of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) into the 6GHz band that aims to solve congestion issues in 2.4GHz and 5GHz ranges; in the U.S., the FCC has allocated almost 1200MHz of unlicensed spectrum in the 6GHz band for Wi-Fi 6. Of course, few people have Wi-Fi 6-compatible routers at home, and nobody has a Wi-Fi 6E-compatible router yet, so it’ll take a while for this technology to actually become usable by consumers. In addition, the FastConnect 6900 enables support for Bluetooth LE Audio which includes features like multi-point audio sharing and broadcasting audio, it also has a second Bluetooth antenna with intelligent switching capabilities to overcome signal shadowing issues. . . . . #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxyzfold2 #galaxyzfold2 #wifi #bluetooth #samsunggalaxy #qualcomm https://www.instagram.com/p/CDjXg1-gb2z/?igshid=pfs1b2ca3hmb

Although most of all high-end Android smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 865, some are faster than others in terms of raw performance scores. Although scores aren’t everything, here we are reporting AnTuTu list of the top 10 performing Android smartphones for the month of July. The list consists of the highest-scoring devices tested on AnTuTu benchmarking app between July 1-31 and the scores listed are averages of all the scores given on AnTuTu version 8. If the phone has multiple variants, it takes the variant with the highest scores. Every smartphone in this list runs the Snapdragon 865 chipset, and at least 8GB of RAM (most of them use 12GB of RAM). At the top of the list is the Oppo Find X2 Pro, followed by the Oppo Find X2 with 12GB and 8GB of RAM, respectively. In third and fourth are the Redmi K30 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. The top four devices broke the 600000 score mark. Then come the iQOO Neo3, Oppo Ace2, vivo X50 Pro+, and the realme X50 Pro. The number 9 and 10 spots go to the Meizu 17 Pro, and the iQOO 3 which ends the top 10 list with a score of 587,087. In our review of the Oppo Find X2 Pro, we found excellent performance scores, and that Oppo is great at thermal management since the phone barely got warm, even after repeating benchmark scores. It’s also thanks to its UFS 3.0 storage and LPDDR5 RAM – and of course, Color OS-specific optimization as well. . . . . #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #oppo #vivo #realme #oppofindx2pro #oppofindx2 #snapdragon865 #redmi #redmik30pro #realmex50pro #iqoo3 #oppoace2 #vivox50proplus #antutu #antutubenchmark #benchmarks #mi10pro #xiaomi #mi #xiaomimi10pro https://www.instagram.com/p/CDjWNkwA3Av/?igshid=1g0ydytljbjxj

Instagram has announced that it is bringing a feature called Reels that allows you to record and edit 15-second multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools. It is obviously an attempt to compete with TikTok, the widely popular (and controversial) social media platform, and is already arriving in 50 countries. Instagram Reels is now found in the Instagram Camera (the button in the top left corner) where the whole interface was redesigned. There is a variety of tools for editing, including adding Audio, AR Effects, Timer and Countdown for all the fun dances you want to do. Sharing Reels is done the same way Live videos or regular posts are shared - they go to a dedicated tab on the profile and can be seen and discovered by everyone, or, if your privacy settings are set to Private, only the people following you. Once the reel is ready, it can be saved as a draft, have the cover image changed, pretty much all the post-edit features available as when posting a video. Watching Reels is simple as seeing a regular photo or video. A reel appears either in the Feed or in the Discover tab, and Instagram is tagging some as “Featured” to “help users discover original content that will entertain and inspire”. Instagram is yet to issue a full list of countries where Reels is officially available, but aside from Brazil, where it was tested, it has also launched in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Japan, Australia, France and Germany. . . . . #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #instagram #instagramreels #reels #tiktok #official #posts #stories #instagrampost #instagramstories #areffects #shortvideo #india #japan #unitedkingdom #unitedstates #australia #france #germany #brazil #video #igtv #igvideo https://www.instagram.com/p/CDjVOheAZgv/?igshid=1o6bk0hhpzjf7

The IFA exhibition in Berlin is scheduled to take place in a new format this year between September 3 and September 5, and several companies are embracing the idea of having physical events once again. We already have a confirmation that Realme will attend, and today we received an invite that Honor is also having a press conference which will be on September 4. The theme of the presentation will be “Expand Your Smart Life”, where Honor will introduce a wide portfolio of products, including smart bands, personal computers, and tablets, while the image also contains a phone. Other smartphone companies that are confirmed to attend are LG, TCL, and Huawei, all with conferences scheduled for the first day. The opening keynote will be hosted by Qualcomm where we might hear more on the chip company’s roadmap for Q4. The event used to be a lot bigger with more well-known brands, but given the health situation and the travel restrictions, most are likely to stick to local announcements instead of global unveilings. . . . . #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #ifa #berl#honor #tcl #huawei #lg #lifesgood #qualcomm #realme #tablets #computer #phone #smartband https://www.instagram.com/p/CDjUN6EAdSU/?igshid=1up5fa85ui0i6

The Galaxy Note20 is priced at INR77,999 ($1,040/€880) in India, while the Note20 Ultra will set you back by INR104,999 ($1,400/€1,180). Both smartphones come with 256GB of internal storage, but the regular Note20 has 8GB RAM while the Note20 Ultra comes with 12GB RAM onboard and supports 5G networks. The Note20 and Note20 Ultra are already up for pre-orders in India through Samsung's online store. The Note20 is offered in Mystic Green color while the Note20 Ultra comes in Mystic Black shade. The Mystic Bronze color is common to both. The Note20 pair comes with a Snapdragon 865+ SoC or the Exynos 990 chipset, depending on the region. Samsung hasn't revealed which chipset the Indian units have under the hood on its official website, but chances are customers in the South Asian country will get the Exynos 990. Alongside the Note20 and Note20 Ultra, Samsung also unveiled the Buds Live TWS earphones, Galaxy Watch3 smartwatch, Tab S7 series tablets and the Galaxy Z Fold2. These are already listed on Samsung India's website, but their prices are currently unknown. . . . . #techies_page #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxynote20ultra #samsunggalaxynote20 #india #prices #galaxynote20 #galaxynote20ultra #galaxytabs7 #galaxyzfold2 #samsunggalaxy #snapdragon865plus #exynos #exynos990 #galaxywatch #galaxywatch3 #budslive https://www.instagram.com/p/CDjThkSg6l6/?igshid=cgfixhmfuv1g

We praise Samsung for this decision because they now stand out among Android device makers for their level of software support. Hopefully, this will compel other device makers to offer a similar level of support. There’s no reason we should pay over $1,000 for a new smartphone and expect anything less. . . . . #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxynote20ultra #samsunggalaxynote20 #galaxynote20 #galaxynote20ultra #android #android10 #android11 #softwareupdate #update #updates https://www.instagram.com/p/CDhDlW6AsS4/?igshid=34s84sgdpvw6

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra As the name implies, the Galaxy Note20 Ultra is built on the S20 Ultra platform. It has the same screen, a 6.9” Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with 1440p+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. You still need to set the rendering resolution to 1080p+ to get the 120 Hz mode, however. The S Pen and the supporting Wacom layer on the screen have been updated to achieve 9 ms latency. Samsung says that at this point the experience is very much like writing on paper. Notes you take can be converted to Microsoft Office formats and synced with your other devices via Samsung Notes. The Note20 Ultra still boasts a periscope lens with 5x optical magnification as opposed to 4x. There is now a 12MP sensor sitting behind it, replacing the 48MP sensor of the S20 Ultra. The bet here is that the longer zoom and brighter f/3.0 aperture will make up for the smaller 1.0 µm pixels (the 48 MP sensor had 1.6 µm pixels in its binned 12MP mode and was behind an f/3.5 aperture). Space Zoom is limited to 50x, but that’s not a huge issues as those magnification ratios are not very practical (especially not 100x). The 120° ultra wide-angle camera maintains its 12 MP sensor with 1.0 µm pixels and f/2.2 aperture. Samsung Galaxy Note20 The Notes first split into two last year and the gap has grown significantly this generation. Perhaps this is why Samsung went with Ultra for the premium offering, rather than sticking with Plus. The Galaxy Note20 comes with a larger screen than its predecessor – 6.7”, up from 6.3” – making it only slightly smaller than the Ultra. However, it is a flat panel rather than a curved one. This is a 1080p+ panel with the old Gorilla Glass 5 (even the Note10 used GG6). Those aren't the only downgrades compared to the Ultra either. The one that hurts the most is the refresh rate, a standard 60 Hz. This is also bad news for the S Pen as it misses out on the low latency upgrade. . . . . #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #samsung #samsunggalaxynote20 #samsunggalaxynote20ultra #galaxynote20 #galaxynote20ultra #snapdragon865plus #exynos https://www.instagram.com/p/CDhDKPRgrt6/?igshid=1swjtjwf60m04

The Honor 9A and Honor 9A are decidedly entry-level devices, so people used to flagships may not find them impressive by themselves. However, Honor’s use of the aging MediaTek Helio P22 on both the phones does not incite confidence as the phones will face very stiff competition from phones from Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung. Further, both of these devices do not come with GMS and Google Play Store, and instead, adopt Huawei’s AppGallery and HMS Core. The Honor 9A will be available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue color variants, starting from August 6, 2020, on Amazon.in. The phone will cost ₹9,999, but users can get it for ₹8,999 in the first sale. On the other hand, the Honor 9S comes in Blue and Black color options for ₹6,499, but users can get it for ₹5,999 in the first sale. Honor MagicBook 15 The Honor MagicBook 15 is Honor’s first foray into the laptop market in India. As the name implies, it features a 15.6″ FHD IPS display with an 87% screen-to-body ratio and TÜV Rheinland certification. The laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processor coupled with Radeon Vega 8 graphics. You also get 8GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM and a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD. The laptop is charged through an included 65W charger that charges the laptop 0-50% in half-hour through the USB Type-C port. Other notable features on the notebook include a two-in-one fingerprint power button, a pop-up webcam hidden underneath the camera button, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and more. And of course, you also get Windows 10 Home edition preloaded. The Honor MagicBook 15 is priced at ₹42,990 in India and will go on sale on August 6, 2020, in the Mystic Silver color option on Flipkart.com.
