For most people, household chores are a dreaded task, something to be avoided at all costs. But for you and Ted, they held a special place in your hearts—a way to share domestic quality time. Some might consider it mundane, but you both cherished these moments together, caring more about each other's company than the chore at hand. Soft strains of music played from a nearby speaker as you found yourselves in the kitchen, sorting through dishes.

“Here, could you put these away?" Ted asked, extending a stack of plates toward you.

"Of course," you replied, accepting the plates with care.

As you moved toward the cupboard, you realized it was much higher than previously expected. Your attempts to reach the shelf ended in disappointment, especially given the fragility of the plates you held.

"Would you like some help there, small stuff?" Ted teased, placing his hand gently on your lower back.

“No, no, I can manage,"

"Admit it, you're too short," he smirked, giving your cheek a playful peck.

“I'm actually of average height... You're just abnormally tall!"

With a soft laugh, Ted stored the plates on the shelf. He then wrapped his arms around you, engulfing you in a warm embrace.

“Nope, you're just small, and I love it," he cooed, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck.

"Why do you love me being so 'small'?" you sighed, using air quotes.

“Because you fit so perfectly in my arms, and you look absolutely adorable."

"Hmm, I'll accept that answer," you giggled, tightening your grip around his torso.

“It’s true! And I almost forgot, you make for the perfect armrest," he smirks, resting his arm on top of your head.

"Alright, that's enough, you nerd ," you teased, gently pushing his elbow away.

“Well, if I'm your nerd, then you're my shorty.”

Ok sorry this was actually not great but it was just in my brain so I had to write it out!
