I'm probably going to a Tegan and Sara concert this summer, but I'm not too familiar with most of their work so I want to listen to all the albums. I was wondering if maybe you had an album or some songs in particular that you'd recommend as a starting point?
Ooooh I love this question!
Okay so to start off, I would recommend checking out The Con and So Jealous—I’d consider these two to be the golden age of Tegan and Sara, they’re the albums that a lot of their most popular hits come from, and a lot of big fans tend to list these as the albums that first got them hooked.
Then I would listen to Crybaby, since it’s their most recent album and they’re playing quite a few of these songs on this tour.
From there I would go to Hey I’m Just Like You, Heartthrob, Love You To Death, and Sainthood.
The albums I would leave for last are If It Was You, This Business Of Art, and Under Feet Like Ours. They’re from the very early years of Tegan and Sara, and while they’re beloved by many die-hard fans, they’re not quite as palatable to newer listeners and they don’t tend to play many of them live.
Lastly, If you want to speed run this whole process or get a little taste of each era before doing a full listen-through, I made this playlist a while ago to send to all of my friends who ask me this same question ;)
Enjoy!

"It is to laugh, huh Mister J?"
Harley Quinn, created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, was once intended to serve as a one-and-done character for an episode of Batman: The Animated Series. However, due to the charm of her voice actress (and real life inspiration) Arleen Sorkin, audiences around the world quickly grew attached to the jester and her antics. Harley would make her first comic appearance in 1993 with The Batman Adventures #12, a series which tied into the beloved cartoon. It wasn’t until 1999 that the Cupid of Crime made her main continuity debut in Batman: Harley Quinn. Since then, Harley has starred in a surplus of comics, television shows, video games, movies, and more. There are also several different interpretations of the character within this collection of media.
Under the cut is an extensive list of recommended content that captures the true essence of Harley Quinn, as your official QUINN-tessential reading and watching guide! For easy navigation, the guide has been divided into six main categories: BTAS Verse, Pre-Flashpoint, Post-Flashpoint, Elseworlds, Television + Film, and Other Media.

The New Batman Adventures
The Batman Adventures: Mad Love (1993)

CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT ABOUT KETH ROMEGA the ship. (seth rollins/kenneth omega for crankiest omega friend of the young bucks, adam cole u are not invited.)
first ship: very possibly ... house/wilson from house md? alternatively zoisite/kunzite from sailor moon.

currently reading: vlad taltos by steven brust, even tho i am not a fantasy girlie i liked to reign in hell and i think he's good on twitter! i have made it through like 3 of 15 books and i am suffering from fantasy disease burnout but it's fine. the body library by jeff noon (thanks @eggshellseas!).
last movie: LOL the forever purge. god i love those movies they're fucking stupid but their politics are so pleasant. yes tell me more about how america is a failed and evil project <3 do it with big flashy shootouts <3 (i also thoroughly enjoyed the short-lived tv series.)
currently watching: just finished peacemaker and cobra kai, both of which are about coming to terms with your own washed-up toxic masculinity to varying degrees of success. snowpiercer is still airing! it's not a good show but again i will watch anything that tries to be about the end of capitalism. (the lesbian is so sweet i forgive her for being a cop, but she does not forgive herself!) wrestling, obviously.
currently consuming: tomatoes! we are oversupplied with homegrown tomatoes! they are good but making me lightly ill.
currently craving: wrestling at the end of the world pleaaase ao3 user ionthesparrow watch wrestlingggggg write about dystopiaaaaaaa.
