Lori, you are such a sweetheart, it’s practically insane like I cannot deal with the tsunami of compliments I get from you, I’m really crap with handling people being nice to me so it’s usually a ‘404 brain not found’, but I am doing my best to communicate to you how much it means to me, and how much I appreciate your kindness! Whenever I see you on my dash it makes me smile, you have this constant sunshine attitude and it’s amazing and thankfully infectious even when I’m having a crappy day! And of course let’s not forget how your wonderful characterisation and your muses make me and Arthur smile like crazy! You have such a good grip on your characters, they all have a very unique voice which is a delight to read! Arthur is always super excited to hang out with whoever you throw in my way, not to mention the constant love mess that is Clark and Arthur together which I also adore to bits! Point is, you improve my day without fail all the time by just being you!

       “ UGH---- ” A groan escaped pale lips as the man surfaced towards something resembling consciousness. He FADED out again, wavering between being awake and asleep for some time before his mind got one metaphorical foot in the door of consciousness. Slowly his senses returned, along with VIGNETTE-LIKE glimpses of his last few memories...and the first thing he was aware of being a certain VOICE calling his name. 

       “ B------BA------- ” His lungs seemed to protest upon the task of breathing and speaking, gasping and pausing for another minute. Everything was...DARK. And shouldn’t---- shouldn’t there be pain? Oh no, oh no no no no. He’d SEEN this in movies, didn’t even consider it possible on this Earth! “ What have you done, you------- Took my consciousness and put it in some COMPUTER, didn’t you--- oh god --- discarded my body like-like-like ROTTEN LEFTOVERS--- ”

         H.R. let out a LAMENTING cry, utterly despaired by the loss of his body. Or...what he thought was the loss of his body, which was still very much there and very much HOPPED UP on painkillers. Which he would notice if he just...opened his eyes.

fingers CLENCH and unclench at her side, trembling slightly, and anja SIGHS. she snatches the purse back from him, runs her hand through her hair. she knows she’s exactly the sort of thing criminals are eager to target at night, the heels all but make her a sitting DUCK, but luckily enough they tend to not anticipate just what all she can COUNTER with.
