Let them say I misunderstood. Let them call it Blasphemy.
I will not kneel at the altar of coherence. I came here to burn the blueprints.
Philosophy made the fatal error of trying to explain the storm.
I am the storm, and I have no explanation.
The bones I shall bury are not forgotten. They are beloved offerings.

Prologue:
The Maze as Manifesto:
Comprehension as a form of violence; the labyrinth as a symbol of divine complexity.
To understand is, often, to violate. What we call comprehension is less revelation than capture—a breaking down of what resists into something domesticated, annotated, shelved. The unknowable is made knowable not by grace but by force. We reduce to explain, and in explaining, we distort.
The divine does not suffer this lightly.
The labyrinth is not a riddle to be solved, but a presence to be endured. It is not designed to mislead; it is designed to resist the arrogance of the straight line. It coils with intention. Its curves are not accidents, but ethics. It teaches not by offering solutions, but by denying them.
To walk the labyrinth is to forsake the compass. To reject the inherited logic of forward motion, of cause and effect, of origin and destination. The straight line is a conquest narrative. The spiral is a theology of humility.
In every corner, a paradox. In every turn, a confession: that clarity is often a form of betrayal. The desire to simplify is the first impulse of power. Systems flatten. Maps erase terrain. Categories amputate what they cannot name.
To step into the labyrinth is to renounce that impulse. It is not ignorance—it is reverence. A refusal to dismantle mystery into parts.
Plato's cave offered the promise of ascent—from shadow to sun, illusion to form. But we remain in the cave, not as prisoners, but as keepers of its flickering light. We do not seek the sun. The sun blinds. The cave contains multitudes.
Kant warned of the limits of reason. Jain thinkers offered a doctrine of multiple viewpoints, an epistemic humility long neglected in the West. To them, truth was not a singular blade, but a sphere glimpsed from many sides.
This book is not a thesis. It is not a ladder of logic. It is a descent. A deliberate wandering. A text with no center and no promise of return. You may not exit unchanged. You are not meant to.
To be lost, here, is not failure. It is initiation.
So leave your diagrams behind. Forsake the desire to resolve. Step in. Not to conquer, not to define, but to dissolve.
This is the maze. This is the first refusal. This is Lost Bones of Philosophy.
Let’s start the funeral/awakening.

If its still Drabble day, can I request the OT8 girls as teenagers hanging out and having fun.
The girls are all 16 in this!
"You have the most gorgeous skin Kins," Spencer smiled as she finished applying the face mask onto her best friend's face. "What's your skincare routine?"
"Knowing Kins, literally just soap and water," Ava huffed from her spot on Spencer's bed, stuffing her face with chocolates.
"That and good genes," Kinsley smirked, sticking her tongue out at Ava.
"And then there's me, with a whole 10 step routine and I still get pimples if someone so much as looks at me the wrong way," Spencer huffed.
"Same," Berkeley sighed as she worked on painting Ava's nails. "Could you stop eating for two seconds so that I can finish?"
"But they're so good," Ava whined.
"Fine but when your nails are fucked up, don't come whining to me."
"Alright, you have to let it sit for 10 minutes," Spencer said.
"Cool," Kinsley replied, immediately grabbing her phone to text Mason.
"Hey, I know you're not doing what I think you're doing!" Ava exclaimed, making Kinsley freeze as she turned around to look at her.
"No?"
"I know you're not texting Mason?" Berkeley deadpanned and Kinsley's lack of response answered the question. "Kins, we all had a deal. No boys tonight!"
"It's not as if he's here," Kinsley muttered. "And excuse me for having a caring boyfriend who actually wants to talk to me!"
"Or he wants some ass," Ava replied with a smirk.
"You told her?!" Kinsley exclaimed, looking at Berkeley.
"I told Spence," Berkeley huffed and when Kinsley looked at Spencer, she was smiling awkwardly.
"Sorry?" was all she could offer up.
"You better be lucky that I love you and planned on telling you guys anyways," Kinsley sighed.
"You better had," Ava replied, making Kinsley roll her eyes. Suddenly, 'Genie' by Girl's Generation came on Spencer's Bluetooth speaker and all four of the girls gasped loudly.
"I haven't heard this song in forever!" Berkeley smiled.
"Remember when we used to listen to this when we were little?" Kinsley smiled. "And we'd try to pretend that we were them."
"Let's do the choreography now!" Ava suggested as she hopped up from the bed and the rest of them got up as well. "I'm Taeyeon, obviously."
"Not so fucking obvious actually," Kinsley snickered.
"Let me see you hit those high notes then."
"You know she could if she wanted to," Berkeley pointed out.
"I'm starting the song over because ya'll are talking too much," Spencer giggled as she pressed the button to restart the song. "Let's go."
"Tell me your wish," Ava sung. "Tell me that small dream you have within you."
"Draw your ideal girl inside your head and then look at me," Spencer continued. "I'm your genie, your dream, your genie."
They continued to do the choreography messily until they got to the chorus where muscle memory took over and they did the moves flawlessly.
"That’s right, I love you, you can always believe in me. Dreams, passions, I want to givе them all to you," they harmonized, doing the iconic arm movements. "I want to make your wishes comе true. Your goddess of fortune."
Before long, the song ended and 'Miniskirt' by AOA was next and it would've been a crime for them not to dance to that as well. That's how they ended up spending the rest of the night, dancing and singing to their heart's content.

@cassandra-acton
He hadn’t expected to see Cassie when he entered Spencer’s apartment. By some miracle, or thanks to careful scheduling on Berkeley’s part, they hadn’t bumped into one another at his place before. They’d been avoiding each other for years now, and Elene’s death made them even more distant than before, if possible.
Cassie most likely wasn’t aware of his visit to the hospital when she got attacked, he wouldn’t want her to be, anyway. It was... simpler this way.
Yet, with Spencer unexpectedly running late per the text he had just sent him, William had no choice but to find himself alone in the room with a former friend.
“I heard about the attack on your cousin, I think I saw her being carried out, too,” William cleared his throat. No witty remarks, no snark and subtle jabs, how very uncharacteristic of him. “What happened?”

Why do I feel like I’m drifting apart from Erika?
Is it because we’re so used to each other’s presence now that we live together that we’re just bored of each other? I know I am a flawed person and that I am not a perfect friend, but why do I feel like I’m not being treated the way a “best friend” should be treated? I had always considered Jean to be my “best” friend (if I had to choose one...I was never a big fan of using the term and now I see why), but when I look back, I remember how Erika was the first to call me her best friend, even if it was simply in an instagram post.
Come on. Maybe I’m being too selfish for expecting too much of her. But some part of me feels like I’m not being treated the way a best friend should be. She doesn’t tell me about Quinton--I don’t expect her to and she is not at all obligated to tell me anything, I understand--but I can’t help but feel like she doesn’t trust me to be open to talking about it.
(Erika came in to clarify about finsta here while I was typing, so I feel a lot better now)
Okay..I feel petty now about the finsta thing--I feel like that was me overanalyzing things. I think the part that offended me was her--perhaps jokingly--saying that she would unfollow me...I don’t feel like I post extremely negative or polarizing content a lot and I only have people I trust follow me, so by all means, unfollow me. It just came across as..insensitive to me, but I was just focused on her not liking my posts (something I might expect of say, Vivian and Spencer)--I should have realized that I don’t like every single post that people I follow post on their finsta (Nina for example). I was being super immature and an ass about it which I acknowledge, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that I feel she respects other friends more than me...
I don’t want to let fear of seeming too clingy hurt me from seeking companionship from people I like and want to hang out with (i.e. double texting Lily, reaching out to Erika to hang)..but why do I only feel jealous when I see Erika hanging out with other people (particularly high school friends)? I know you may say that we see each other so much, so she should have an opportunity to catch up with other friends. That is true. But to not hang out with your best friend like one on one during break? Am I petty for feeling like I’m not actually a best friend?
Hmm, maybe that’s exactly what I need to do to stop feeling so high strung. You are not her best friend. You’re friends. Don’t be delusional. Maybe the reason why you’re so upset and expect so much is that you expect her to act like you would with Jean. Telling each other about anything and everything.
However, you have to realize that she is her own person. You will not always see eye to eye or share the same hunger for conversation or companionship. Recognize now that it will only hurt you to place so much of your self-worth on another’s actions. Her actions do not change how valued you are as a friend to so many other people.
Of course I care about Erika--I wouldn’t be dedicating this entire post and venting about my feelings if I didn’t. I know a major flaw of ENFPs is to idealize one’s friends too much and expect them to act as model friends--you just can’t expect that from anyone Elaine.
Maybe I’m just especially emotional right now because I’m hormonal. I don’t know. I feel better however that she talked to me and wanted to make sure I wasn’t mad about the finsta thing though.
--
On the bright side, I’m eating healthier again! Salads and chicken breasts all the wayyyy baby!! I want to seriously get my ass into gear and actually get fit...it sucks being the heavyset cousin or friend in a group when I KNOW that this isn’t my best shape. I realized that I don’t want to get fit just for superficial reasons, but also so I can feel more comfortable in my own skin (i.e. bending over, lying down without my stomach rolls getting in the way, sleeping better, not being surprised by my weight gain when I look into the mirror, not having a double chin when I open the front camera, having my clothes fit better, having more energy, making mom and dad proud).
The plus side of me adopting a healthier lifestyle is that I realized I actually really enjoy cooking! I find it therapeutic to put on a documentary or video in the background and chill out while doing food prep. It makes me realize how fortunate I am back home to have such a caring mother who is honestly such a great cook??
That reminds me, I want to be there for my parents more. I want to call more often just to check up on them. They go for months without seeing my face, and when they try to call me, I’m usually always really busy/doing homework and I don’t realize just how much they may want to say hi or chat about my day.
I also want to be more empathetic and caring about Kenny. It hurts to see us drift apart when I went to college. My expectations for Kenny and his habits at home have made me realize how much I honestly idealized him when I was younger. It seemed like I idealized him a lot when I was younger and coming to Berkeley myself made me realize how much he struggled with his mental health and with his personal life. I want to rebuild my relationship with him.
Alright, I really have to go to the restroom so I’ll end this post here.
You’re going to be fine Elaine-in-the-future. I have faith in you that you will accomplish your goals.
Wishing you all the best and all the love,
Elaine in the now.

Happiness
I want to write about happiness in general as a series. For most of my life I could say that I have been pretty damn happy. But lately throughout the past few years I seem to have lost my touch with it. I hope that in writing this series full of my thoughts, anecdotes, and past experiences, I am able to reclaim where I left off mentally and emotionally. This is Chapter 5.
Friendship
I consider friendship to be the most important aspect of happiness and as such this will be the most personal piece I share with you. It’s pretty shit really. If anything I know it’ll make you upset as it continues to make me upset. It’s the key reason to why I have so much hate in my heart and it’s why for the vast majority of the time I absolutely hate being in Torrance and why I absolutely detest hypocrites, especially those who claim to be Christian. It’s why I absolutely hate a certain church by the name of TFPC from the top down. Their pastors, their leaders, their youth group. Every single one of them with the exception of one friend there. It’s the reason why I don’t make rape jokes and replace them with “fucking destroy” or something along the lines of that. It’s why I have no tolerance for people who have raped others, and why I have legitimately been reserved about who I am as a person when meeting new people because I ask myself “what did they hear about me?” On the positive side, it’s why I cherish my friendships more than anything and why I dedicate my life for those who have confided in me like I have in them. This is my most personal story - one that I don’t take lightly in sharing. And I think also, not letting this hatred go has ultimately gotten in the way of me being happy.
There are a few names we ought to be familiar with. For the first group of people, Paulina Nguyen, Sean Kim, and Elizabeth Kim. I met Paulina early in high school and we have been great friends from day 1. She was more on the emotional side and she confided in me as much as I did in her. We were great friends. Sean and Elizabeth used to date. Turns out it was a shitty relationship but I never knew that prior to meeting Sean. Sean and I were good friends from day 1 as well, I guess we just clicked. Elizabeth and I were also good friends who we met through a mutual friend. Sean and Paulina started dating.
The next name is a set by himself, Albert Huh. Albert and I were brothers in my church and we were really connected spiritually and had a bond that you could only experience in a church setting. We didn’t know each other for long, but when you cry together at a church retreat, nothing can take that away. Albert and Elizabeth were friends.
The next names are Tiffany Kim, Rachel Kang, Andrew Chae, Joan Lee, and Ben Lee. Tiffany and I were good friends and her brother was a pastor at my own church I went to. Rachel was a girl I hardcore crushed on my senior year of high school. She was a year older and during the time went to UC Berkeley. We would spend countless nights on Oovoo and check this out, I even chose to video chat with her instead of playing League. Andrew was someone who went to the same church as Tiffany, TFPC. We bonded through a church retreat and not like close as Albert, but still a bond was formed. Joan was similar to Rachel but in a friends setting. I didn’t like her, but we were good friends and it was pretty great. Lastly, Ben was a great friend of mine who also went to TFPC.
One day early in my junior year of high school, Sean and I are hanging out and Elizabeth asks me to hang out and I tell her that I’m hanging out with my friend and that she’s more than welcome to join so she did and bam ex boyfriend and girlfriend reunion. Kinda weird right? So everything seems fine and I found out then and there that Elizabeth and Sean used to date. We just all hung out for a short bit afterwards and then Sean says we should have a group hug goodbye so I wait for Elizabeth’s answer and she said sure so I was like okay. So we did. And then we went our separate ways.
Fast forward to my senior year, I meet Rachel and I become madly infatuated with her. And surprise surprise she ended up liking me back! I was pretty fucking stunned. It was crazy. This girl was a straight up 10. I was probably a 5 on a good day but to her I was a 10 and that’s all that mattered to me. We spent countless hours oovoo-ing and being awesome and when winter season hit we would spend our holiday nights going on walks and just being fucking great. I’m not sure how, but word got around and even my older brother says “yo what’s going on with you and Rachel?” And my cousin (who went to the same school as Rachel) then adds to the family dinner “yeah what’s going on? My friends are talking about it too” which is fucking crazy because mind you, at THAT time, I’m a senior in high school, my oldest brother was in Irvine, my cousin was at UCLA, so why the fuck are they concerned about what Rachel and I have going on? And I tell them “I don’t get why you would be concerned about it” (DAMNNNNN FUCKING TOLD THEM). I guess, when I knew Rachel was a 10, everyone else did so too. Point being, she was a fucking big deal right.
I go to a winter retreat with Tiffany and Ben’s church, TFPC. It was pretty great. Met Andrew there too. Point of this part of the story is meeting Andrew. I’ve known Tiffany and Ben for years and we’ve had great friendships, especially Ben. To THIS day I still keep in touch with Ben. Alright so I come back, and winter is over, back in school for spring. I’m just living my senior year in high school, enjoying life, talking to Rachel, and literally just waiting for graduation to end. And BAM! Graduation.
I didn’t go to prom. My senior year prom date who said yes to me eventually got asked by someone else and she was having doubts and so I was just like fuck it just go with Spencer if you’re going to feel this way why bother (plus it was like 450 bucks for the whole experience with tickets, dinners, and pictures, I was a poor family). We all hung out at my friend’s house after prom and Rachel texts me asking me how was prom. I told her I didn’t go (and mind you this is at 5:00AM) and she was like yo wtf happened so I told her and I also told her I honestly would’ve loved to ask you out to Prom instead but whatever shit happens you were in Berkeley and I didn’t know how to ask you online or through text and I felt like you would have been busy when you got back to Torrance (Berkeley semester schedule so she was in town during prom anyways so woops, I guess I should've texted her anyways). So she asked me if I wanted to get breakfast to which I played it cool and said sure but in my mind I was screaming like fucking goddamn yes I do want to eat breakfast with you. And this is important. The breakfast. To this day I wish I never fucking went. Not because of Rachel, Rachel was stunning as usual. Even on her bad days she was a 10. A real goddess. Rachel Fucking Kang. Fire. Stunning. Grab a dictionary and every positive adjective you got it. When we were walking out of the restaurant, I run into two familiar faces, Albert and Elizabeth. We say hi like old friends (mind you the last time I saw Albert was at my own church retreat and the last time I saw Elizabeth was my junior year while hanging out with Sean). Not wanting to keep Rachel waiting we make it quick and I get ready to drop Rachel off and so I did (even though Rachel asked me to breakfast of course I went to go pick her up, it’s just what you gotta do). I get back to my friend’s and my whole group of friend’s just crash and sleep because we’re tired as fuck. Unbeknownst to me, that morning was the start to the worst fucking time of my life.
A few weeks later, it’s graduation. Everything was good, my church group and I hung out after my graduation with the rest of the graduating class and after dinner we go to get some boba. And I get a phone call, random number, so I pick up. It’s Albert. He asked me, “Yo! Where are you at right now there’s something I need to fucking ask you and I’m like okay sure I’m at Bobaloca” and so he comes quickly, with a large group of friends. Being the guest of honor as the graduating class, my church group (various age range including younger middle schoolers) stick around and Chris, an older member asks me if everything will be okay because it looks sketch that a big group comes to find me, but it was Albert. And Albert was with our church, and he was with Chris spiritually too so Chris asked me and Albert if everything will be okay and so Albert and I both say yes and Chris knowing that something is going to go down decides to trust us takes his cue and takes everyone home. Then Albert opens, “Yo Ariel. You know you’re a brother to me. That time at retreat. Nothing can ever take away our bond. But when I heard what happened. I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t fucking believe it.” I reply, “What did you hear?” He says, “my friend said you raped her” and I was so fucking speechless like What. The. Fuck. Did. I. Just. Fucking. Hear. type of speechless. And I tell him, “No. I didn’t.” He then says “she’s here today right there waiting in that car and she wants to meet you and she wants you to go on your knees and beg for forgiveness.” I’m sorta taken aback. Albert then says, “don’t worry. See that guy over there? He’s a brother to me. We’re here because we just want you to apologize but we’re going to make sure you don’t get hurt even though you probably deserve it so just fucking do it okay?” And there was anger and agony in his voice, but at the same time, there was compassion and love. I could tell he was just as devastated as I was. Sure enough Elizabeth walks out of the car in tears and crying.
So I get on my knees, I have an idea of what happened, and I tell her, “Elizabeth, I am so sorry for what happened to you but you HAVE to know I had no idea what was happening at the time and to me it was just a hug. You know me. You know I would never do that to you. And you know Sean, you know what he did to you in the past and that he would have done that there” Looking for words, in utter complete silence, even amongst Albert and his friends they thought an apology for forgiveness was coming out but it wasn’t. Why would I ask for forgiveness for a crime I didn’t do? And Elizabeth at a loss for words, was so emotional and she just started to walk away back to the car. Albert pulls me aside and says, “Hey, let’s go to my car and talk” So we do. Mano a mano. He says, “Did you really not fucking do it.” And I said to him with the utmost sincerity, “Albert. You have to know who that other guy was. He was Elizabeth’s ex boyfriend who abused her” and I told him their past. I then also said, “Look, you coming here and asking for my side first only confirms that you know the type of person I am and that I would never have done or take part if I was aware of what was going on.” He then breathed a heavy sigh. He says, “You’re right. I’m going to talk to her.” He comes back ten minutes later and says “Okay, just leave. Don’t make eye contact with anyone just take your car and go home.” So I do. Then as I’m walking out this crazy bitch (BY THE WAY, I RARELY CALL WOMEN THAT WORD. THERE ARE TIMES I SAY SOMETHING IS BITCHY, BUT ALMOST NEVER A BITCH) named Angela Jung comes out and says “OH IT’S THIS ‘ARIEL’?!?!?!? WHAT THE FUCK.” Because Angela and I knew each other personally. She screams “GET BACK ON YOUR FUCKING KNEES AND APOLOGIZE FOR RAPING ELIZABETH.” I look towards Albert, and I say “Alber-” but before I finished she gave me the biggest bitchslap in the history of bitchslaps. I begin to notice the crowd around me. Andrew Chae was there with some of his friends and I realize that no way he could have known the talk Albert and I had. So what does it look like to him right? Angela slaps me one more time. And she goes for a third and Elizabeth comes out of the car and screams, “STOP!!!! IT WASN’T HIM. HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. IT WAS SEAN NOT ARIEL” And after a bit Elizabeth tells me, “don’t talk to me ever again I’m sorry but just go home.” So I left.
On my way home, Albert calls me. I pick up because at this point any talk with Albert is life or death. And Albert asks me for Sean’s number. I give it to him because you can imagine how fucking pissed I am that Sean molested Elizabeth during the group hug without me knowing only for me to take the fall in place of him because he knew they’d come for my neck first. Luckily Albert was the guy who did not anyone else. Later that night, Paulina texts me calling me a sellout and very harsh words but of course I could never relieve her because of course she’s going to trust her boyfriend over me seriously fuck Sean.
During the next few weeks in summer vacation, I notice that some things begin to change. Rachel stops talking to me at all, Tiffany ignores me from that moment on, Joan as well, and everyone just gives me the cold fucking shoulder. It is at this moment where I begin to talk about friendship. Fake friends, real friends, friends in general. Friends in specific. Just friendship. Then out of nowhere my friend Elle messages me asking me about how there’s a lot of talk at her church (She also went to TFPC) and about how I raped someone. And my heart sank. I’m just like oh fuck no because no shit Andrew ran his gossip as pussybitch fucking cunt mouth everywhere about something he had no fucking part in only seeing part of what happened (of course the bad part). I connect the dots and the dots were confirmed when another friend of mine told me about what Andrew was telling everyone he knew. It was pretty surreal in the worst ways possible. Especially damning because Andrew was on the praise team for his church - literally a leader of the church and of all people to spew bullshit? C’mon dude. Just fuck. If anything, especially with the relationship Andrew and I had, he ought to have been the first person to at least talk to me or even ask me what the hell was going on. But no. He chose to take the lowest way out, to go out of his way just to spice his own personal life. The worst part is that his friends and fellow “Christians” gravitated towards his stories as if they were a campfire in Moscow during the winter. Really fucking incredible. So I hated the church. And, I even began to despise the pastors as well. I do however hold a tremendous amount of respect for them so I didn’t take names on their part. But Andrew? Seriously fuck him. When I see Paul Ryan smirk on national TV when he robs from the poor and does it in the name of goodness, I see fucking Andrew with his truly ugly laugh. Not ugly in the sense of outer appearance, I don’t really think anyone is ugly in that regard, but ugly in the sense of blackness in his heart. It’s the fucking worst. To wear a veil of holy spirituality and then live the life of sin. Me? I know I’m not on a high horse at all, but at least come down to the swamp with me if you’re going to level me up behind my back with your pussybreath. As for the others?
I asked Rachel “do you honestly believe what happened?” No reply. I never talked to Rachel ever again. I asked Tiffany the same thing. She replied, at least she gave me the respect to reply and she says “Yeah I can believe it there were witnesses and Andrew said everything.” I told her “if you honestly feel the way you do, don't fucking talk to me ever again.” It’s been five years, we never talked since. I asked Joan, she never replied. I never talked to her again either. I then asked Ben, “do you honestly believe what happened?” And he said, “I was waiting for you to ask me so I wanted to ask did you do it?” I said “No.” He then said, “Then that’s all I need to know. You didn’t do it.” What a real fucking friend right there. Goddamn did that shit move me.
But what about my own personal group of friends? From high school that I graduated with that night my nightmare started? Gossip spreads like wildfire especially in the facebook era and I know for a fact that some of my closest friends had connections to the friends who spread the news that there was gossip about me going everywhere about how I raped someone and it was total bullshit. Yet, the most amazing part? No one even asked about it. And no one seemed to care about it. No one seemed to be bothered. Nothing changed in our friendships. I never spoke to them about it ever because similar to Ben, they had trust in me. They confided in me as much as I confided in them and that was all they needed. To have faith in me.
For this reason I love my friends more than anything. Not just because of this sole single event and how they responded, or rather not responded which in itself was a response, but the entire idea that they trusted me so much to have never let it become an issue. So think about this… In the darkest time of my life when I was losing friends left and right, front and back, top and down, these guys were the light in my life I needed. And that speaks volumes in the role my friendships play in determining my happiness. Just like how other people have the capability to bring me down, people too have the same capacity to bring me up. That was all I ever needed to move forward. I guess you can say that in bringing up my last blog post, the faith and loyalty that these good people had in people answers where I am on “goodness” right? To this day Ben’s response when I messaged him means so much to me. He grew up in that church where the rumours started. Ben was literally surrounded by people who hated me so much. Who thought I was despicable, a liar, and a rapist. But Ben always believed in me. That type of loyalty is powerful. My dad always taught me from a young age that the most you can ever ask for from anyone is loyalty. From a woman, loyalty counts as friends and as significant other. For men, loyalty comes from true friendship (to which I guess being gay counts too now). Looking back at this event I fucking hated how it all worked itself out. And I directed all my hatred especially towards Sean because he was at the root of all this. So I guess in conclusion to this highly sensitive topic… choose your friends well. There are those that I didn’t. The ones who stabbed me in the back. The Rachel Kang’s, Tiffany Kim’s, Joan Lee’s. I DO WANT TO CLARIFY that I don’t feel spite against Rachel, Tiffany, and Joan. From the notion that on their point of view, they truly had evidence that was in Andrew’s perspective verified because Andrew’s side of the story was true only to his eyes. It’s like if I saw someone kill someone else, I see only the murder. What I won’t see, is the self defense prior to it so I see murder and that’s completely fair. So to Rachel, Tiffany, and Joan? That’s fine. I still don’t believe they’re the type of friends to surround yourself with, but I understand their part and just frankly need to know what is done is done. Andrew Chae’s? A different story, still with the leniency that what he saw was considered his version of truth, but that as a representative in the Church and thus therefore for the religion, he had a moral responsibility to ensure goodness not bad. But Sean Kim? I can’t say words to describe how I feel about him but that the best thing is not revenge, but just to move away. Those type of people will only bring you down and the sooner you do away with them the better. They don’t deserve you. In reflection writing this, I’m just so amazed by how wonderful my group of friends are, to stick with me through something catastrophic as that, but not even to just stick through, but to have never let a rumor as powerful as that one bother them to begin with is incredible. See, you can go through a lot of shit, but when you have as friends as amazing as the ones I do, isn’t that where true happiness is found? In the goodness of truly great people who want to share that happiness with you? Thank you for reading.

hello Shay, I hope you're good:) Can you write about a argument between Kins and Mase in collage before getting married that was big (maybe in front of everyone)and had everyone worried that they would breakup and talk to them to fix it and they talk and it end happily
Anonymous also said: Can we have a request of Mason and Kinsley hanging a serious argument? I would just love to see another side to their relationship. It could be over child rearing or even before they were married and just dating. Thank you sooo much!
“I just don’t understand why you don’t want to,” Mason groaned, making Kinsley roll her eyes from how he was still dragging on the conversation.
“Mase, moving in together is a big deal,” she replied. “And it’s not that I don’t want to. It’s the fact that I wanted to wait.” Kinsley and Mason, as well as the other kids, had been out to eat together after going to see the latest action film and the entire argument had been started from one simple question: “Your place, or mines?”
“You know that I plan on proposing to you just as soon as we’re old enough to get away with it,” he pointed out.
“And that’s fine, but we can wait until then to move in with each other too,” she shot back.
“You know Kins,” Spencer spoke up. “Maybe you should be a little more willing to compromise? I mean, you guys are together all the time anyways.”
“Exactly, which is why it’s understandable that Kins still wants her own space,” Berkeley defended her. “She shouldn’t have to sacrifice that.”
“That’s not what I’m saying,” Mason said.
“That’s what it sounds like,” Kinsley sighed. “Why can’t you just respect the fact that I don’t want to live together?”
“Because if you don’t want to live together now, who’s to say that you’ll want to live with me in a year or two?” He snapped.
“You’re being over fucking dramatic and it’s starting to piss me off,” Kinsley muttered. “It’s not end all, be all.”
“Yes it is,” he shot back. “If you don’t want to be with me, then just say that.”
“You know what? Right now, I don’t know if I do or not,” she seethed, making everyone at the table freeze.
“Fine,” Mason grumbled, pulling out his wallet and throwing some bills down on the table for his part of the meal before standing up and storming out of the restaurant.
“Mase, wait!” Kaiden, Lennox and Noah all called simultaneously as they hopped up and followed behind him. Spencer, Berkeley, and Ava all looked at Kinsley who was pushing the kimchi soup in her bowl around with a spoon.
“Don’t you think that you should go after him?” Ava wondered.
“No.” Kinsley stated firmly and they all knew by the tone of her voice not to push her any further.
.................................
“This is ridiculous, and you know that as well as I do,” Lennox groaned. “It’s been two weeks!”
“I don’t care,” Mason mumbled. “She doesn’t want to be with me. She said so herself.”
“Only because you goaded her,” Lennox pointed out and Mason looked up at him. “Look, I’m on your side as much as anyone is but you were wrong for pushing her.”
“Is it so bad that I want to live with the person that I’m in love with?” He questioned and Lennox shook his head as he sat down next to him.
“No it’s not but it’s like you said, you plan on asking her to marry you anyways so you two have all the time in the world to live together,” Lennox said. “You know how Kins is about her space.”
“Ugh, you’re right,” Mason groaned. “I was being selfish.”
“Very much so,” Lennox nodded. “But she loves you, so go talk to her and get her back. You stink when you’re broken hearted.”
“Go to hell,” Mason chuckled.
..................................
“Don’t you think that you’ve iced Mase out long enough?” Berkeley asked and Kinsley shook her head as she played some chords on the keyboard in front of her.
“Nope,” she said. “He was being an inconsiderate asshole and I hope he can’t fix the beat that he was working on before we argued.”
“Oh shit, she’s pissed,” Ava whispered.
“Well, nothing’s gonna be solved if you don’t talk to him,” Spencer pointed out.
“It’s not my problem to solve,” Kinsley grumbled. “I wasn’t the one being inconsiderate and I wasn’t the one being overdramatic.”
“Kins,-” Berkeley started but she was cut off by Kinsley banging the keys of the keyboard in frustration.
“No! I always go out of my comfort zone to make shit work because I understand how he is but it’s like he doesn’t have that same consideration for me!” She exclaimed. “I’m sick of that shit. If he wants to fix it, he’s gonna have to come to me this time.”
“Well, you heard her,” Ava whispered as she motioned to Berkeley, who pulled out her phone and texted Lennox.
...............................
Mason stood outside of Kinsley’s temporary studio, knocking on the door gently.
“Come in,” he heard her say and he opened the door, stepping inside before letting the door shut behind him. When she turned around, she instantly rolled her eyes.
“What do you want?” She wondered and Mason walked up behind her, setting his hands on her shoulders.
“To apologize,” he said. “I’m so sorry for jumping to conclusions and for not being considerate.”
“And?”
“And taking so long to realize what an idiot I was being,” he added. She turned around in her chair then, looking up at him.
“You know if I didn’t want to be with you, then I wouldn’t be,” she said and he nodded. “Don’t doubt me just because I like my space.”
“I know, and I’m sorry,” he repeated. “I was being an idiot.”
“Yes you were,” She huffed. “But you’re my idiot.”
“Does this mean that I’m forgiven?”
“Eh, I guess,” she shrugged, giggling at his reaction when she did so. “I’m just kidding. Yes, you’re forgiven.”
“Good. I love you,” he said, leaning down and kissing her softly.
“I love you too Myungie.”

These are the words that encapsulate 2016
LONDON It’s been an fateful time. From Britain voting to leave the European Union to Donald Trump being elected president of the United States. No one can accuse 2016 of being monotonou. Some words and terms grew in standing during the past twelve months, some new words were invented and some existing messages amassed fresh sense. Here’s a selection of the words that encapsulate 2016.
Alt-Right
Alt-right is a word used to described various groups including white supremacists and white-hot patriots who situate a focus on “preserving” and “protecting” the white hasten in the United States. It has been described as a mixture of racism, white patriotism and populism and exists online( in the form of molestation and hate memes) and IRL.
In November, a video published under The Atlantic showed the founder and ideologue of the alt-right Richard B. Spencer, wailing “Hail Trump, acclaim our people, herald victory”. It made heated reaction on social media because of the stark parallel to Holocaust history.
The so called “alt-right” movement backed Donald Trump during the presidential election though Trump himself said he forswears and denounce them.
Brexit
On 23 June, Britain voted to leave the European Union by 52 percentage to 48 percentage. In the consequence, the value of the pound dropped to a 30 -year low-pitched. Prime Minister David Cameron abdicated, the first political fatality in “whats being” arguably be described as the year that anti-establishment politics travelled mainstream. Meanwhile, Nigel Farage, governor of the UK Independence Party( and foremost Leave campaigner) acclaimed the referendum solutionsas the UK’s “independence day.”

Bigly
One of the many verbal mysteries of Donald Trump during the campaign was whether he was saying “bigly” or “big league”.

Mashable News (@ MashableNews) October 20, 2016
Linguists weighed in. Susan Lin, an helper linguistics professor at the University of California at Berkeley, posted her definitive answer to the linguist Facebook group Friends of Berkeley Linguistics.
“‘Bigly’ or ‘big league’? The latter, I’m quite sure, ” Lin said.
Barb( Stranger Things)
Barb’s atrocious fatality was one of the most debated Tv deaths this year, contributing scores of Stranger Things fans to ask: will there be right for Barb?
The Netflix series, been developed by friends Matt and Ross Duffer, became one of the biggest pictures this summer. Set in a small town in Indiana in 1983, just after a 12 -year-old boy reputation Will goes missing, the eight-episode succession peculiarity a top-class child ensemble that provoked a religion following.

Unfortunately, the show’s architects confirmed that Barb, last-place discovered dead after a being grasped her while she was sitting on a pool’s diving committee, is genuinely dead. Although it looks like she’ll get some sort of justice in Stranger Things 2.
Coulrophobia
Coulrophobia is defined as a rare, extreme or irrational fear of comics. This summer the suspicion reached another level.
Clown sightings started in Greenville, South Carolina, where groupings of clowns apparently tried to entice kids into a thicket of trees outside an apartment complex. Similar sightings spread up to North Carolina, where a male said he chased a clown into a forest with a machete.
From there, the fear of jesters increased and eventually increased across the pond .
Here’s a map of all the sightings.

Dabbing
Dabbing, or the Dab, is an Atlanta-based hip-hop dance that was disseminated by Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton during his MVP 2015 -1 6 NFL season.
Originally used to describe a flesh of marijuana application, the word ‘dabbing’ went on to have a second meaning in 2016.
The dance originated in Atlanta, where a handful of rappers, most notably rap group Migos and frequent traitors Jose Guapo, Skippa Da Flippa, and PeeWee Longway, popularized dabbing in their music videos and mixtapes.
The dance acquired it to social media, where people shared Vines and videos of themselves thumping the dab.
Later in 2016, Newton testified the Dab dead, saying: “I have to put that aside.”

Fake news
After the victory of Donald Trump, Facebook came under ardor from the public and the media for its perceived persona in helping the spread of “fake news” during the U.S. ballot. Tallies of beings in locations as remote as Macedonia created fake word sites and churned bogus pro-Trump word that sprang up on the programme. In the final three months, imitation referendum stories caused more engagement than top floors from major report outlets.
Image: ap photo
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg initially said the company “must be extremely cautious about becoming arbiters of actuality ourselves.” But then he announced that Facebook was looking to implement “better technological systems” to see fake bulletin, including asking useds to help identify misleading stories.
Fake news had real-world results. In early December, the #Pizzagate hoax led to a gunman firing shootings inside a eatery, which was embroiled in the conspiracy. The gunman, 28 -year-old, Edgar Maddison Welch of Salisbury, North Carolina, was apprehended after participating Comet Ping Pong forearmed with an attack rifle and burning a shot.
Welch claimed he was investigating conspiracy conjectures about Hillary Clinton and safarus chairwoman John Podesta running small children sex trafficking ring inside of the pizzeria.Though The New York Times debunked the story back in November, the buzz generated on social media continued.
Glass cliff
“Glass cliff” was among Oxford Dictionaries’ terms of the year. Fabricated by S. Alexander Haslam and Michelle Ryan, glass cliff is used to refer to a situation in which a woman or a member of a marginalized group “ascends to a leader posture, defying cases when health risks of failure is high.” The current UK Prime Minister Theresa May fits this description.

Harambe
Harambe is the gorilla who was shot and killed in August after grabbing a 4-year-old boy and dragging him across an exhibit in Cincinnati Zoo.
The incident was criticised online by many who accused the child’s parents and the zoo for Harambe’s death. Three months after Harambe’s death, beings were still attacking the zoo with coarse texts, petitions and protest memes.
The trolling was so hard that it action the zoo to remove its social media accounts.

Headphone jack
Apple’s annualiPhone launch always touches the mobile world like a glossy glassmeteor, but the newiPhone 7 had an aftershock this is gonna be felt for years: the removal of the headphone jack.
Image: AP/ RICHARD DREW
Despite being a near-universal standard being implemented in devices worldwide, the eminently functional3. 5mm jack couldn’t survive Apple’s determination to shape thefuture one where audio is wireless. In the current, nonetheless, lines still rule, and Apple’s big move has given us all dongles to misplace, basically mainstreaming disadvantage.( It’s likewise forcinggrown adults to say the word”dongle.”) Whether you call that mettle or hubris , Apple has put a stake in the soil, one other smartphone producers will steer around, or perhaps trip over, for years to come. Pete Pachal, Mashable Tech Editor.
Hodor!( Game of Thrones)
Hodor had been among the first Tv anguishes( and revelations) of the year and certainly the hardest to forget.
Game of Thrones followers learned the inceptions of Hodor in a zombie-filled conclusion that ended with the soothing giant being swarmed by a rabble as he held a opening to shield Bran.
Hodor= “Hold the Door”. This certainly changed the room GoT followers experienced about holding the door.

Islamophobia
Reports of Islamophobia and racist happens spiked in the consequences of the the Brexit referendum. From 16 -3 0 June, the reporting of hate crimes went up by 42% to more than 3,000 charges. The reported felonies mainly consisted of persecution and menaces against “visible minorities” as well as people from Eastern Europe.
Twitter useds documented prejudiced chapters on the programme, use hashtags like #postbrexitracism and #postrefracism. On Facebook, an book announced “Worrying Signs” curated reported incidents.
The burkini ban in some French coastal municipalities too rekindled controversy beyond France’s borders. Many people regarded the prohibitions as sexist, Islamophobic and counterproductive to welcoming Muslims into the country. The outlaw had now been been overruled in some municipalities. An illustrator from Paris created a steer for bystanders who meet Muslims who are being harassed.
Image: maeril.tumblr.com
In the aftermath of the U.S. election, some Muslim maidens uttered fear that they may be targeted by hate crimes. Many took to social media to caution Muslim females not to wear the hijab, niqab or burka in public. These panics were validated as women in the U.S. were apparently targeted in hate crimes following Donald Trump’s election.
Latinx
According to the Oxford Dictionaries, Latinx was first used in response to an important matter around gender identity. How can a language like Spanish, in which nouns and adjectives have grammatical gender, be used in a gender inclusive channel?
Latinx replaces the gendered ‘a’ or ‘o’ pointing with ‘x’. Its still uncommon, but widely used on American university campuses.
Lemonade
Lemonade was one of the few lustrous events in an otherwise gruesome year. Beyonces visual album, which debuted in April, is both an ode to black women and a deep personal love story, told in 11 evenly earnest chapters. Some chapters hollered “I came to slay, bitch.” Others were so specific and pointed in their anger that some wondered if Jay Z and Beyonce were getting divorced .
Image: Beyonce
Featuring candidly beautiful verses from the Somali-British poet Warsan Shire, the book is a dazzlingly complex project in which pop culture meets spirituality, gratifies vulnerability. Scenes from the album have become religion, and quite rightly so, such as the one in which Beyonce is covered in a yellowish nightgown and golden jewelry, opens doubled doorways to tell the liquid flow on the stairs. After a bit son sides her a baseball bat, Beyonce is off, destroying automobiles and cameras, crushing open a fire hydrant and twirling in its water.
So potent was the panorama and the entire book that the University of Texas at San Antonio decided to offer students the opportunity to sign up for a class announced Black Women, Beyonc& Popular Culture.” Students who take the course will invest the semester searching the singer’s visual album, Lemonade , and its relation to black feminism. Isnt that everyones dream?
Nasty wives
In the final presidential conversation, Hillary Clinton, while discussing Donald Trumps tax pays, was interrupted by the Republican nominee who said, leaning into the mic: such a nasty woman.
The phrase, uttered so soon after Trump roundly contended that no one has more respect for women than him, speedily became a trending hashtag. #NastyWoman took over Twitter and soon became a war cry for numerous women.
Twitter user @thecultureofme even acknowledged to buying the world’s most delightful domain name, NastyWomenGetShitDone.com , then configuring the sheet to redirect to Hillary Clinton’s officer website. And Will Ferrell boasted a Nasty Woman T-shirt in support of the democrat.
Pokemon become
In a year of unlikely resuscitations and throwbacks Pokmon Go took “the worlds” by squall. It was just the perfect make for those who grew up in the 1990 s and had fond childhood retentions of the insanely successful Game Boy tournament . The conclude Pokmon Go is so cunning, though, is that it’s all tied to the real world .

UC Berkeley Surrenders Again: Ann Coulter Speech Scrapped
UC Berkeley has apparently decided once and for all that it will not provide a forum for free speech on its campus. Citing security concerns, the university announced this week that they were disinviting scheduled speaker Ann Coulter. According to school officials, they don’t have the resources to protect students – and the conservative herself – from left-wing rioters.
Like several conservatives before her, Coulter has promised to live up to her obligations, regardless of the university’s security situation. She said Wednesday that she was going to speak, even if she had to deliver her speech at an off-campus location.
A campus spokesman said that if Coulter shows up next Thursday, the school will do “what is necessary to provide safety and security for the campus community,” but he did not elaborate on what measures that might entail.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, conservative UC Berkeley groups were told Wednesday that Coulter’s appearance would have to be postponed until at least September:
The standoff began Wednesday after vice chancellors Scott Biddy and Stephen Sutton emailed the student groups co-hosting the event — the Berkeley College Republicans and BridgeUSA, which gets students with political differences to listen to each other — to say the event was off until September at the earliest.
“We have been unable to find a safe and suitable venue for your planned April 27 event featuring Ann Coulter,” the administrators wrote. “In the wake of events surrounding the planned appearance by (right-wing speaker) Milo Yiannopoulos in February, as well as several riots which have occurred in recent weeks in the city of Berkeley, we have increased our scrutiny regarding the time and location of high-profile speakers so that these events can go forward unimpeded.”
Young America’s Foundation, the group which is footing most of Coulter’s speaking fee, said the event will go on regardless of what Berkeley administrators think about it. In a conversation with the Chronicle, Spencer Brown, a spokesman for the organization, said he wasn’t buying the security excuse.
“This is as clear-cut a case as it gets that public universities are using taxpayer dollars to shut down conservative speech, while allowing liberal speech only,” Brown said.
Even if the school’s security concerns are valid – and the riots that followed a Milo Yiannopoulos speaking gig would indicate that they are – it doesn’t explain UC Berkeley’s decision here. Surely, the goal should be to arrest and prosecute left-wing Antifa rioters rather than give in to their demands, right? Isn’t this the very definition of “letting the terrorists win”?
Of course, when your school’s political philosophy lines up almost perfectly with “the terrorists,” you’re not letting them win so much as you’re rooting from the bleachers.
