For the character ask meme: How about your favorite character at the moment?

well right now it's medic tf2, which is probably not what you expected at all, and I know you know nothing about him but I will now proceed to ramble about medic tf2

first impression: ooh.. healer man.... I like. I play. oh god what is any of this this is too complicated

impression now: the absolute man ever. mad scientist little german boy gossiping schoolgirl he has it all. incredibly funny. sometimes incredibly threatening. not to mention the Narratives man there is so much

favorite moment: he was soo cool in the baboon uterus scene am I right.... but really it's this scene in the 6th comic (yes there's comics, yes there's six)

this is like one of the two times he shows any concern for someone. absolutely love to see it

Idea for a story: I want someone to write out the 6 or so hours he spent bringing sniper back to life (yes he brought someone back to life)

Unpopular opinion: I haven't had the time to form that many Opinions on him yet so this is probably not really unpopular but I don't think he's as clueless about the human body as some people make him out to be. he does, however, ignore the correct way to do surgery in favor of trying out something Funi on a test subject

favorite relationship: him and heavy. the husbands. whatever he and sniper have going on is good too

favorite headcanon: he begins to look after sniper a lot more after bringing him back to life. this is his crowning medical achievement we're talking about! he's gotta make sure the guy lives a long happy life so he can brag about being responsible for it (this is mad scientist slang for "he cares about this person")

The funniest part of the tf2 comics was when Sniper was like fully ready to kill Miss Pauling and Demoman and then Miss Pauling was like “LMAO come on this adventure with us dude” and then that’s never brought up again

TF2 Realization

If New Zealand wasn’t a flooded corpse filled hole, and still had people there, I don’t think Sniper would fit in anyways. The Australians were too rough house-y, but the New Zealanders strike me as the sort to go “oh resolving your conflict with violence? How barbaric. We just act passive aggressive.” Which does not sit well with Sniper who is an action man. Sniper is an outsider, no matter where he goes.
