Synopsis

Baekhyun and Chanyeol hate each other’s guts.

It’s the start of a new college year, with hormones flying and emotions sinking, with idiots roaming and jerks slinkering. Chanyeol prays that he will survive the year, hopes that he can get closer with a certain guy he’s had a crush on since forever.

But what he wishes above anything else is that he doesn’t get roomed with Baekhyun.

However, scenarios can appear deceiving and things never go as planned.

What happens when Chanyeol finds a certain Byun Baekhyun stumbling on his door, horny and drunk and smelling of sex?

Why, nothing, of course.

Personal Thoughts- My all time favourite fanfic, hands down. I honestly love it so much that i started reading it again (before it was taken down due to reposts) and i have given it my highest praise. I cried, laughed and hurt with this fic because the characters feel so real and i can’t get enough of it. (Lowkey cried that blehmeh uploaded it again so i can continue reading this masterpiece. Also she’s super nice and added me as a friend???). If you want a fic to destroy you and leave a lasting impression on you, i highly recommend this fic, it’s a blessing to the Exo fandom.

how do you guys feel about tfibb ?? Im reading it right now and I don’t mean to sound rude and disrespectful but i don’t understand the hype around. The first few chapters aren’t that good and it seems really immaturely written ?? Like one of those stereotypical AFF fics. Maybe I’m reading it wrong idk i just don’t get it. I would like to know how you went through it and your thoughts !!

are you hacking us dear anon?? haha! We JUST queued an ask about tfibb and why we don’t rec it here (a few hours ago! what a coincidence!)

I feel uncomfortable discussing if it’s well written or not. That’s subjective and I really don’t want to criticize any writer for their writing style when they haven’t asked for my opinion.

But in terms of plot… Our biggest issue was that that the story had no direction and no plan. What made it “bad” was that in the first chapters it promoted itself as “one of those stereotypical AFF fics” to quote your words. Enemies to lovers, friendship, mystery and then... BAM!

The rape plot happened. Out of the blue.

And someone can say “but the author warned about it in the beginning of the chapter”. Yes, they did. But. No! They did not warn in general! I read this fic for... a year and a half? Two years? Thinking it’s a lightweight fic, a funny one with some angsty moments. I did not sign up for this! I did not dedicate so much of my time and thought to end up reading a graphic description of rape and baekhyun falling in love with his rapist’s doppelganger. How sick is that? That was my issue with the fic and why I’m so frustrated with people who support it.

And I never finished reading it. I never read the rape chapter, I just skimmed through the page in horror as I picked up sentences. So I don’t know how the author handles all the mysteries and all the plot holes and the rest of the story in general. And I don’t care if in the next chapters Baekhyun heals, if he does have a healthy relationship with Chanyeol, if, if, if. The graphic description of rape by gangbang was just unnecessary and sick and used for shock value.

And because I know that people will come to our ask supporting it, well.. If you liked it for your own reasons, good. But you won’t change our policy of not supporting this fic, so please, respect our decision.

This is the anon from the tfibb ask. I just want to say thank you for the warning of rape in the story. I get very uncomfortable reading about rape especially with idols, even if it’s not real. As well as your opinion on the fic in general, rape shouldn’t be a plot point at all !!! Again thank you so much, I have now stopped reading that disgusting fic, thank god I did it earlier enough.

but seriously, it felt strange that so many people told us that they didn’t know about the rape plot. So I just visited the description page on AFF and there is no warning there. I honestly thought the author would place warnings after that chapter??? So you go read this completely unprepared? Do they think this is a cool plot twist that you don’t have to warn about?? Seriously???? I’m so mad right now!!!! The fic is not marked as having trigger warnings on the AFF settings either!

Like I felt bad talking about how much I dislike this fic because, at the end of the day, this is my opinion. But now I’m so mad, I just-
